Oh this is the best one. It's Codywan so there is that. The other thing is time travel. Cody time travels into the past but has amnesia. He appears in Melida/Daan period but it fairly quickly progresses. We have Jedi, we have Mandalorians, we have young Alderaan royalty, and best of all WE HAVE JASTER MEREEL. Go go read it no regerts

Trans Regulus who has always had a raspy voice, even as a child, that becomes more prominent when he starts T at Hogwarts.

His voice always takes people by surprise because he’s so painfully quiet. The reason why he barely speaks is a tightly held secret between the Black brothers until James earns his trust & he tells him how (even now) Walburga would try to punish his “boyish voice out of him.”

A few days later Regulus receives a frantic owl about his mother’s mysterious “sudden illness” that has taken her voice entirely; leaving her irreversibly mute.

His eyes snap to the Gryffindor table to find James Potter, looking down at his breakfast with an impossibly smug smile.

Do you ever think about the fact that Kix literally had a breakdown on the battlefield during Umbara (aka when Tup had to get him to stop shooting) because he couldn't cope with the death and having to leave people behind because at his core he's a healer and just full of so much love for his brothers and then instead of resting in their mini break, he's helping his friends with mutiny and treason because it's a chance for him to do something else to help other than comforting the dying when so many have been lost or are you normal

my roman empire is james and regulus being a couple for years as teenagers.

both men being teased for remaining chronically single.

james asking sirius about regulus, and being shut down with an "i dont want to talk about him,"

regulus staring at him during meal-times. his friends assumed he was looking at sirius.

james asking lily out, in seventh year, and everybody breathing a sigh of relief: "thank merlin, hes not queer"

regulus stiffening when "wouldn't it be nice" started playing.

james blatantly refusing to have his and lily's first dance to "can't help falling in love" for a reason nobody could quite understand.

regulus still smelling james in amortentia, even years afterwards.

james knowing something is wrong, in his gut. nobody believes him when he says that something terrible has happened.

no-one understanding, or wanting to understand, why james potter was so affected by his best friend's little brother dying.

james telling lily to run, but not moving. he wasn't scared; he'd see regulus again soon.
