After hooding the slave, she pulled his balls one at a time through the small hole in the upright post of the sitting cross, preventing any movement of his lower torso on the seat.  She clamped his wrists to the cross member.  Secured with no chance to move, the slave knew from experience that the whipping would soon begin.  He moved slightly in his bonds, his breathing quickened and he began to sweat, not knowing the severity of the whipping or the duration.   She was not in a hurry to start, enjoying his nervousness.  She knew exactly what she planned to do with the whip, but……perhaps not for she knew sometimes when she started, the planned conclusion would be delayed.
