hey furblr does anyone want free drawings of there furbs?

This was going to be a plan for a school project but I ended up going with a different idea

Politely asking people that don't like Furbies to not post Furby hate while using the "Furby" tag, or any other commonly used Furby tags. Like please I just want to see cute Furbies when I follow those tags, not someone posting about how they hate Furbies and imply they need to be exorcised... They're just children's toys, please grow up

So during the first Furby craze Tiger lost an estimated £20 million (~26 million USD) due to bootleg versions

Their solution to this was to conduct raids throughout Europe and on November 29th, 1999 they shredded an estimated 70,000+ models.

They also got the models through other means besides raids like getting ~18,000 them from importers

does anyone have any interesting info about furbies (specifically 1998 furbies)? theyre a big interest of mine rn and if anyone wishes to tell me stuff, whether a story or like. just anything. show me your furby... plz tell me about them

So recently I joined a Furby centric Discord server and I was able to suggest and get a movie night set up

I haven't been able to go all out on event planning in some time so I went extra and created a ticket

Sorta as an advertisement and sorta as a RP/photo option for everyone to us if they want to

Colored and decorated fully based on old advisement for this actual movie so very obnoxious 2000s core

I’ve been super busy with grad school because I graduate this fall, which means I have to be done with all of my research and thesis and everything by November. So, the furbyhouse has just been sittin like this for a while now. The orange room is about to be renovated AGAIN because I’ve decided it needs a back wall plus the fireplace needs to be installed, and I want to reposition where it’ll go.

Anyways, I guess I just wanted to say hi to y’all and show the state of the furbyhouse as it sits waiting to be worked on again. It’s always okay to put a project down for a while.
