Took a break from writing the other day and drew all the side characters in SL that have little to no dialogue but are the backbone of Y/N's support. I am getting increasingly attached to them
Some very scribbly scratchy doodles to storyboard a scene I have planned for Solar Lunacy
I cannot draw dancing. Also, you can't tell but they're on the Superstar Theatre stage so just imagine that with your mind or something skldghslkgd
Turns out that previous animation was just a wip! I felt today that I wanted to work a little more on this to make it feel more finished. So now it’s an emotional head turn! I’m so happy with this messy thing, omg,, :’3
I’m not gonna forget to tag you this time @naffeclipse!
I still don’t really know what they’re reacting to, but some ideas I have is that they’re having a tough conversation with Y/N, or overheard something said by Y/N that they maybe shouldn’t have. Angsty stuff my beloved.
Feel free to tell me your own ideas if you have any, I’d love to hear them!

Is there a particular reason why the Daycare Attendant tends to go for the arms first when enacting violence? Like... that one assistant got their arm snapped, Y/N had their arm/wrist bruised, and Monty got his torn off... Is it just that it's an easier target or something? Or that it makes the victim less able to fight back? Or is it just a coincidence?
Monty had the arm that hurt Y/N torn off, specifically.
Also, you might be confused on the other one. There wasn't an assistant that had their arm snapped, that was a parent, a father, when he reached to wake up his son. From Chapter 6:
And back when Y/N and Moon first met, it was because Y/N was running to go turn on the lights. From Chapter 3:
All of injuries were the result of consiquences that the DCA did not like or want: Waking up a sleeping child, Turning on the lights, Hurting Y/N.....ect.
These are not deadly injuries, but they do prevent further action to do the thing that the DCA doesn't like. Essentially the phrase: point your middle finger and they'll break it off. Arms aren't really their 'specific thing', but punishment is.
But keep pushing and it'll upgrade from arms, fingers, and wrists to snapped necks and crushed spines, like a poor, poor Daycare Assistant got to experience when he tazed Moon.
But yeah, the Daycare Attendant doesn't just 'go for arms', they go for whatever stops you first....or whatever punishments fits.
