Hi! You Said Your Inbox Was Still Open, So I'm Wondering If You Have Any Really Good One-shots?? They

So how does Ladybug figure out that Simulacrum is Adrien who is Chat Noir? Does Plagg end up escaping and just finds Ladybug and begs her to help save Adrien? Does she suddenly see his power and realize that it is Chat Noir akumatized? Does Simulacrum slip and reveal something or say something he shouldn't have and she get it there?

I don’t really want to answer this all the way yet because I’m trying to work it into another comic! But yeah essentially Adrien has the forethought to take off the ring when he realizes what’s about to happen, and Plagg manages to escape with it.

I don’t think Miraculous holders can become akumatized under normal circumstances. But if your father happens to be a super villain who believes that the ends justify the means, and who just happens to force an akuma into your scarf when pretending to give you an encouraging pat on the back following an argument, then maybe it could happen.

Origin episodes premiere

Are you going to watch “The Birth of Ladybug Part 1” (Korean episode 14), aka Origin Episode Part 1? If so, this post has everything you need! It will air on March 1st at 7am in Korea, which is February 29th 5pm EST. Links and resources will be below the cut, but I wanted to give some reminders because of this episode’s special circumstances:

Please consider not tagging your reaction posts with the main “miraculous ladybug” tag, character tags, etc. Just no main tags. 

Use #ml origins or #ml origin spoilers on all posts relating to the premiere.

If you want to post about the origin episodes, consider using a “read-more” (like the one in this post) and put spoiler images and discussions below the cut. If you don’t know how to make a read-more, hit the “Enter” button in a text post, click the plus sign to the left, then the […] button. 

Another method, which is nice for other post types, is to queue or schedule. If your queue is long enough that the post won’t be on your blog before 11am March 13th (for the first origin episode), queue it. If you don’t really have a queue, you can schedule your post (learn how to do so here). 

Or, you could just not post about the episodes until March 13th/19th. Whatever you choose, I just ask that you think about the fans who want to wait for Astruc’s script. 

Considering how important Astruc thinks the dialogue is for these episodes, I’d like to suggest that if you don’t speak Korean, don’t watch the subs this time. Or, at the very least, understand that the subs in this episode shouldn’t be taken too literally because they might diverge from Astruc’s original intention for the script. Perhaps try to avoid dialogue-captioning gifs and screenshots, and wait until the French version is subbed to do so.

Paris Lights

There’s like 5k+ words to this unfinished thing, but here’s some Felix is Chat and Adrien’s older brother. I’m not sure if I’ll complete it, so here’s this snippet of a part I really loved.  I really love writing Felix, but I’m currently writing other things that have taken over my life. Hope you enjoy this!

The sight of Ladybug’s pigtails always gave Felix a warm feeling in his chest.  He was 17 and knew that it was fondness, but he chose to ignore it. He knew that she would never feel the same back, she was the heroine and he was just her partner.  She also didn’t want to know each other under the mask, and he respected that.  Although, he had found out who she was, but he wouldn’t tell her that.

“Chat, are you coming? Or are you just going to stand there?” She asked, her bright blue eyes shimmering from the Paris lights.

“It depends where we’re going,” he responded and Ladybug giggled slightly.

“Patrol of course, where else would we be?”

Felix could think of many other things the two could be doing at this moment.  The two things he really wanted to do were dating and homework. He really wished that they could do homework together, even though she was two grades below him.

“Where do you want to start tonight, Bug?” He asked, strolling over to be at her side.  She placed her pointer finger on her chin, thinking, before she quickly looked at him.

“How about we look over the city at the Eiffel Tower, and then work our way clockwise?” She asked, he nodded and that was enough confirmation for them to head that way.

Chasing Ladybug was something else that Felix loved dearly.  Whenever he was right behind her, he could see the world light up with colors and Paris became so vibrant.  He couldn’t imagine his world without the feisty bug, and he constantly wondered if she felt the same towards him.

He hoped there wouldn’t be an akuma attack tonight, he didn’t feel up to fighting off anyone tonight. The sound of Paris bustling around him, brought him comfort; the view of Ladybug swinging from building to building also brought comfort.

“Hurry up, Chat!” She called out behind her and he knew that she wanted him by her side.  Whatever she wanted, she got; her wish was his command.

“I’m coming, Bug!” He called back and he heard her giggles from his nickname for her.  With Felix’s monotone voice, her nickname sounded like an insult most of the time.  After fighting over the fact that she thought he was rude, he explained to her that it was supposed to be a cute nickname.

Once they reached the Eiffel Tower, they stopped to take a break and look at the city.  They sat next to each other, and Felix hated when moments like these were quiet.  The girl next to him was a lively one, and silence felt like constriction when he was around her.
