Why Tapeman is an awesome guy and a great hero

ok so i saw the caption ''underrated friendship'' and was like ''oh seroroki'' but at the same time i knew it wasnt gonna be that. and then,

Seroroki is one of the more popular background friendships in 1-A, as it's heartwarming to see socially stunted Todoroki making friends.

However, it should also be popular, because their friendship is proof of what a cool guy Sero is:

Your standoffish, rudish classmate encased you in hundreds of meters of ice, just to unload anger, that had nothing to do with you.

In a world where impressing the crowd is almost essential if you want to make it as a hero, this turns you into a tagline, that will follow you.

You hold absolutely no grudge, you even befriend the guy = You heart is huge and open.

You also make it your duty to tape up the class pervert, in order to keep him from sexually harassing others = Your head is screwed on right.

Sero's skills don't fall into the same category of huge offensive fire power houses, like the New B3 have. But he's just as versatile as Asui, who is often held up as a great example.

My favourite examples of Sero's versatility are his team-ups with Uraraka: The two of them working together with Deku during the license exam, and then with Mineta during Movie 2, was really entertaining to watch.

One of my favourite music moments: "All Might with U. A. students" playing in 3x17. The notes were timed perfectly with Sero zooming across and Uraraka following up.

During the joint training with 1-B, praise was heaped upon Bakugou for doing the absolute minimum for team work to be possible.

Sero demonstrated quick and shrewd thinking. He should have deserved some of that praise for his observational and tactical skills.

Sero’s a great asset to have almost in any kind of team, or in any kind of environment. And definitely in any friend group.

❋ formed during their years in high school in jirou’s dank garage, PwA quickly became one of the biggest new age rock bands. their fame sky rocketed years later when they opened for Paramore during their tour.

— monoma made himself the dedicated roadie and gave the members no choice.

— the band was originally kami’s idea (of a joke) until everyone took him seriously (surprisingly) so he takes full credit for their fame.

— denki and jirou have been dating since the band was formed.

— they cycled through countless band names. one day someone suggested “cats with guns” and sero jokingly retorted with “pussy with artillery”. it was a unanimous yes.

— they almost called it quits and disbanded until one song went viral.

— shinsou has threatened to leave and leak every song they’ve ever written more times than anyone can count. (he’s always bluffing…maybe.)

— hanta and tokoyami kissed on stage (initiated entirely by sero) and for months people speculated they were dating. neither of them came out to deny it. (they enjoy the gossip.)

.ᐟ meet y/n — founder of from the heart photography.

❋ after taking a shine to photography in high school, y/n made their journey in the career of capturing the moment. after leaving college to pursue the career in their own way, their work was soon recognized by celebrities big and small. now they work with famous names and brands to bring their photography dream to life. in the world of fame, from the heart photography is an absolute dream to work with.

— is constantly on the move, going from state to state, country to country.

— y/n still believes they haven’t gotten the “perfect shot” and is still searching for it.

— took the album photos for ethel cain.

.ᐟ meet the friend group — (y/n’s & shinsou’s shared friends)

❋ an unstoppable force in high school, this group (including the members of PwA) was insanely close through all 4 years. these were the prime years of the group’s bond. after graduation, they kept in touch but mostly went their separate ways. when the band they all joked about in high school finally took off, the group reconnected and the friend group was back once again.

— everyone gained some micro fame when the band blew up and y/n’s career kick started. (which happened, coincidentally, at the same time.)

— the girls and y/n stayed close throughout all these years.

— ochako and himiko were on and off and finally decided to make it official. they’ve been dating for 3 years now !!

— kiri, izuku, and kats are the “honorary girls” and always have been.

— midoriya and bakugou are roommates. (“roommates”…) (they also have a cat !!)

- careers -

mina: model. (she was scouted in high school and has been kickin it ever since.)

ochako & toga: screen writer & director duo. they mainly produce short films. (y/n aids them by takings shots for movie posters and advertisements.)

izuku: self proclaimed “artist” (it’s mainly a hobby so he works at a bookstore which he is the manager of. izuku has a whole room in his shared apartment dedicated to his art, yet it rarely stays in that room. katsuki is constantly complaining.)

bakugou: also a model. (he would have never done it if it weren’t for mina secretly giving his information to her agent.)

kirishima: pro hockey player. (he also does vehicle restoration on the side as a hobby.)
