“The Astronomer lives within The Observatory; an esoteric piece of architecture that does not lend itself to being found by conventional means. You do not find The Observatory, you simply end up there if it wishes you to. All those who live and work within this impossibly large center of celestial research identify themselves only by their roles within it. Indeed, there is no recollection of names given from outside The Observatory, but there are names; The Scribe, The Archivist, The Accountant, The Security, even The Custodian, all graciously bestowed upon those working within The Observatory by The Observatory itself. The title is the identity, the identity is the honor; all that came before has no relevance inside the sanctity of The Observatory. Though The Custodian, The Security, The Scribe, and all others are many, The Astronomer is very few and most precious to The Observatory. The Astronomer carries the privilege’s of gazing into the telescope to behold the celestial bodies free of consequence. Their first meeting requires an eye that will not be missed, the eye pressed to the lens of the telescope, to be plucked from the nascent astronomer’s head. In its place, a gift is bestowed; an otherworldly prosthetic that bestows but the smallest portion of the night sky’s vast power. From that moment on, The Astronomer is home among the Circle of Stars.” My Aasimar Circle of Stars Druid, The Astronomer~! An easy going, outwardly “laissez-faire” sort who will calmly and casually do good, recklessly. They have been…displaced from The Observatory, along with the only other known survivor; a Celestial pact of the chain warlock Tiefling named The Custodian. They both intend to remedy the situation, though The Astronomer’s urgency to do so seems to pale in comparison to their no-nonsense tiefling counterpart. The Astronomer is content to appreciate the fresh air they’ve been so unceremoniously thrust into. They have faith that all things will fall into their rightful place in due time.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I feel like super casual physical affection that's almost second-nature to the couple is way cuter than characters blushing and being nervous at new love when we're talking about shipping.
Brilshara for @positivelypuzzled ! (bonus ~ selkie ver.)
Erickson brothers, Lars & Echo - Eldritch Knight & Echo Knight
My dear Rogue Tiefling ♥ Norne is really enjoying the adventure she took part in!
My OC Kal at different ages~ <3 I challenged myself to make a twitter banner and went way to hard on it hehe
commissions from @yellowpoptart, @ wuzeio on twitter, and @/magnorisu
commissions open
I’m always down to draw people’s dnd characters and this party was absolutley amazing!
Realised I could draw and post anything I wanted and the first thing I doodled right after was those…
Pix in a puffy clown outfit ! It is my first art thought ! Nice !
Célestin’s my half orc cleric and he has 7 step-siblings on his Duke Dad side, who all wear yellow and have rhyming names. Constantin is always ill, Seraphin and Angelin are twins, and Merlin is (unsurprisingly) a mage who uses Tenser discs to go around cause he has a bad leg. Maybe Augustine is a bard ?
The boys Johann ( @camilleto ) & Célestin (mine)
Greyson, a half-orc swashbuckling entertainer! He loves to collect town gossip as well as throw daggers–for fun!
My old DnD character, Rykka. She’s a half-orc ranger with a wolf companion named Spike
sketches from working on Greyson’s season 2 look, or how little armor and how much chest can he get away with
half orc friend for @tacticalnapping
I’m actually gonna start playing Jo in our DND campaign so today’s warmup was givin him a lil dusting off
Another recent commission!! I love how this one came out tbh. Blue is so their color.
I am living to dust off this style for my downtime drawing whims
long time no see, lines
Me: Jo is sitting in the corner of the tavern brooding despite the jovial music
DM: Oh really? Roll a will save.
Me:…. Okay so turns out his head is bobbing along.
(In which my DM is determined not to let Jo be sad)
Keth, Half-Orc Barbarian/Fighter
Tired, blue boy walks my way...
Ink/digital commission of @doe-gurl‘s half-orc druid, Faju! I had never drawn an orc character before; turns out they’re super fun.
I’ve been enjoying DnD a lot, but I need you all to know that my Half orc Lortra is basically the Sasuke of the group.
In my DM words “Lortra: tiddies out, daggers ready, fucks on empty, emo at 100% “
ødhe, blade of the deceiver ⚔️
A quick little something I knocked together, the patented tragic backstory generator ™ is the easiest way to give your character a mythically horrible origin.
(actual tragedy may vary, results are final and non-negotiable, i am not responsible for any tears you may shed while imagining the sad life your character must have led up to this point)
The Rite of Transference “I pledge myself to the aid of the maimed god and entrust you with the task of finding more allies in the struggle. If you accept, take my hand and I shall depart to the fields of combat” Guys our DM delivered some TIGHT paladin shit last session. My paladin’s deity is imprisoned in The Shadowfell, but an assault has been launched on the prison, and an angel has asked for mortal aid by sending The Rite of Transference (baller as hell). A mortal carrying The Rite can find someone else willing to join the fight, and by transferring it to this new person they themselves join the fight. This new person then has to find another, etc etc, continuing the chain. Pretty flippin COOL!! TIGHT!!
I LOVE DND!!
you get it...
