REALLY RUTH? A STAR WARS ANALOGY? NEED I GO INTO WHYYYY ATTACK ON TITAN IS SUPERIOR IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY??
(i think i am slowly joining the huge and massively growing CULT that is richie kinnies)
I think my favourite part about the intro to episode 3 of Tales is that Bunkers and Badasses scene.
The tales crew got Athena on their side, who is this terrifying vault hunter/assassin that appears really strict and no nonsense, and they had NO idea how to react around her... So they just asked her if she wanted to play the borderlands equivalent of D&D and she said yes.
And not only that she apparently got so invested in it that she flipped the board when she rolled a 1.
This woman has systematically hunted down members of Atlas and murdered them, she has defeated a vault monster, is one of the deadliest people on Pandora AND she made Fiona and Sasha fear for their lives in Hollowpoint and these four are still like "should we ask her if she wants to play?". I love them.
I want a DLC of that particular game of Bunkers & Badasses SO badly with a full intro cinematic of them working up the courage to ask Athena to play. Or just even a comic book, I'd take any info on it at this point.
When all the leaks suggest Chris or Leon is the protagonist of RE9.
Hello outlast fanbase how are we feelin today
I only drew over the ash baby image I have no strong hand in digital art and this still counts more as a meme edit tbh
Also bonus below
(OooOOoo actual art jumpscare)
I tried sketching a guess of how he could look like a day before we got the first teaser or so which felt crazy once it happened so uh
I tried really all I had was the prime time mugshot from the tvs at the time
I’ve recently been trying to watch everymanhybrid but i dont know which playlist to watch or completion. If someone could tell which will make the most senses and what not that be great, thanks so much for your time!
Indulging in silly thoughts but if a code veronica remake actually does happen, I'm curious about player reception for steve. Like, will he be as reviled as he has been by a significant chunk of the playerbase? Will capcom redesign his look? Change his personality? What will they do to the lad. I'm intrigued.
yippee!
Working on the Whistleblower Fan-Film!!🫡 Going for a much different vibe than the last fanimation — I’m putting a lot of care into how I storyboard/present some of the scenes, so this may take a while but I’m really excited to produce it.
I just finished the pre-production storyboarding!! I’m currently in the animation stage :)
I’ve had this idea for a couple months now. 6-7 screenplay drafts have been written, each with constant revisions.
I’m doing my best to be careful with how I present/execute things. I’ve been taking creative liberties in reframing some of the scenes while conveying the original story.
It’s been super therapeutic working on this. When I was younger, the game was extremely cathartic for me and helped me process a lot of stuff. The goal of the fan-film is to convey a sort of catharsis as well—something that gives a sense of satisfaction in seeing Waylon’s endurance. I sincerely hope the final product gives as much angst/comfort to the audience as it is giving me through the production :)
honest, I'm a tired of people saying "Steve so much like Leon!".
I mean, no.
maybe they really have a somewhat similar exterior design (hairstyle with bangs, + Leon in RE2 original seems more red than blond), but all the similarities end there. they have completely different stories, characters and personalities. yes, they both interact with Claire, but they have an absolutely different dynamic with her.
some seem to devalue Steve as a character, the terrible experience he went through as a prisoner on the island, or the fact that Steve literally overcame the virus in his body, just not to harm Claire, he loved her so much. but it all boils down to "look, this guy like Leon!". (he don't)
this wouldn't be a problem if I hadn't seen people who claim that would be good if the CV Remake "cut the role of Steve and added Leon" (we know that this will never happen and are grateful to Capcom for that). this teenage guy went through a terribly traumatic experience as a prisoner of the camp (which, according to Capcom's first plans, should have parallels with the end camp, they even have a gas chamber), became a victim of an experiment and curbed the virus in himself (can you imagine how strong he is?) for safety the woman he fell in love with. but in the end, some people call him "annoying" and want him erased from his own story for the sake of some ship (which doesn't even exist in the canon).
YOU HEARD IT FROM CINDY HERSELF SHE LOVES HER BOYFRIEND‼️‼️‼️
