They never bring up bisexual boy with lame ass straight girlfriend. what about her
"This is my comfort game"
And it's just a game about a man who is in an asylum and sees the worst deaths ever committed by people who are absolutely mentally fucked up where they torture him until he ends up mentally just as bad as they are
okaaaayyyy the quarry fanartists actually i really need you all to understand that evan evagora who played nick furcillo is maori, ethnically, so i don't wanna be seeing any more fanart depicting him as white, i know the quarry game takes place at night and is mostly lit in cool/grey lighting but he IS a brown-skinned boy (with jet black hair and very dark brown eyes):
let's not forget it 👏
If you don't mind, I really would love to hear what you like about Ashley Graham and Steve Burnside.
I just really enjoy and sympathize with characters who are victims of circumstance. Ashley never asked to be the daughter of the U.S. president, Steve never asked to be the son of an Umbrella scientist, and yet they both pay dearly for the actions of their fathers that they had no control over or part in. Ashley is traumatized and Steve loses his life, through no fault of their own actions. Not to mention how young they are, Ashley was only 20 and Steve was 17. And yet because of poor writing so much of the fandom hates them, they think they’re too annoying, they think Steve is a creep when he was really just a vessel for the writers to be creeps, they think Ashley’s pathetic when she was really just a vessel for the writers to be creeps, you see what I mean? Ashley wasn’t rlly done justice in the remake, they just cut out all of the sexual harassment. If CV gets a remake I want Steve to at least be done justice
Vent art
love these guys
Capcom: Ah yes, the characters from code Veronica. Steve, Claire and…*looks at smudged writing on hand*…Ricardo
Context: the studio that made Hi-Fi Rush, Ghostwire Tokyo, & The Evil Within (Tango Gameworks) got shut down by Microsoft.
What I am saying is from the perspective of an American born and raised in the U.S. I’m unaware of what this is like in most other countries and I will be primarily talking about AA & AAA games: the indie scene is thriving
Sucks that we live in a society that discourages passion, creativity, & art unless it directly contributes to lining the pockets of billionaires: this is especially evident when you look at how corporations treat their employees & IPs, work culture, and the U.S education system. There are absolutely amazing games & IPs that are left in the past because they didn’t give the people on top as much money as they hoped for or there are more profitable options, so instead we get an over saturated market generally made for fans of popular IPs, shooters, and action adventure games because those sell the best. This is why a lot of Nintendo’s, Sony’s, and Microsoft’s older IPs never get used anymore: this is why we keep getting the same games, but with a new gimmick and shinier coat of paint. I love shooters and action adventure games, but we need more games that are unique and/or of less popular genres that stick around. Insomniac for example has made great games that are full of creativity and passion such as Sunset Overdrive & Spyro, but now they’re not much more than a glorified Marvel games studio: their new games are good, but it’s all stuff we’ve seen numerous times. We still do get great, soulful games that aren’t left to the sands of time, but there have been less of them as it moves on.
