Slave Rosinante AU

I am almost at the end of the Wano arc and there was something I just can’t let go.

Who’s-Who said to Jinbe that when he was a prisoner, a guard told him about a legend. After that he started to believe in the Sun God Nika who is the savior figure in the eyes of the slaves and would free and deliver them from suffering.

I like to think about that in my Slave Rosinante AU Rosinante would believe in Nika with all of his heart. Day after day he daydreams about freedom and the chance of meeting with his brother again.

I have a lot of small snippets in my head like after Rosinante trusts in his brother, he slowly gets the courage to speak again. Doflamingo would happily listen every word and would encourage Rosinante. In this au he would be a better brother (man?) and would do a lot to destroy the celestial dragons and slavery.

please Uta in OP modern aus is so funny because imagine you know this kid Luffy. This weirdo who gets himself into all sorts of trouble and does so with this goofy boyish charm that almost makes you forget he’s a lawless criminal. He wears exclusively shirts with the sleeves impulsively cut off and sandals, even in the middle of December. you’ve known this rascal for years. Well it turns out his sister is Taylor Swift.
