Those early weeks of spring and summer, when the warmth hasn´t settled into a routine yet, there´s days where Emmet finds the sudden cold a peaceful retreat from the heat of all the other days.

Of course, there still needs to be a warm offset.

It isn´t called a coffe break for nothing, after all!

Playing Mario Kart isn´t Emmet´s strong suit. As the (technically) older brother, Ingo get´s the "being good at games and having the controler" rights.

Emmet is on snack duty, so he´s alright with that. (Guess which one of these is a winning face- bet you´d guess wrong!)

Now this is definitely not the legendary that Emmet was looking for. (He really hopes he´ll get that hat back, it wasn´t cheap!)

Emmet doesn´t have many outfits to wear to fancy events, so when he´s out of ideas he will simply reuse parts. His best shirt and only monocle is a good enough combination, right?

Galvantual isn´t here as an accessory, it just wanted to be included. (And if it´s cute too, then that´s just a bonus)

After a long day at work sometimes, instead of crashing on a couch, you do so on your Pokémon. Completely normal trainer behaviour, if you ask Emmet.

Between him and his brother, Emmet has always been the quieter one. This may in part be because Ingo is, at times, disproportionally loud. Emmet doesn´t mind this.

(though he´s pretty sure his ears usually ringing by the end of the day isn´t just because of the trains)

DAY SIX Emmet appreciation month (June 2024)

Emmet and Ingo both know how to cook most basic things, but they don´t tend to do it a lot. A busy scedule lends to efficiency, so most of what they eat is store-bought or leftovers.

Their tastes in food differ more often than not; One thing they can agree on though, is garlic bread. So, sometimes when they´re not too busy and feel like indulging, it´s garlic time! (too bad they get a bit too excited sometimes, a burnt tounge is never nice to have)

DAY FIVE Emmet appreciation month (June 2024)

It´s a nice day out, nicer than the last few at least and Elesa has decided that it´s about time for Emmet to take a mental health walk. He´s been stressing and too caught up in work to go out much, but that´s nothing a little sun and fresh air can´t help! She hopes, at least.

It´s been a rough few months (has it really been a year already?) but Elesa is sure that things can get better if she keeps trying. If she keeps getting Emmet to try.

They´re going to be alright. All of them.

DAY FOUR Emmet appreciation month (June 2024)

Emmet loves the subway, he really does, but sometimes it gets just a little bit too crowded.

Thankfully there´s no windows in most of the rooms so it´s not so hard to find somewhere completely dark to lay down.

DAY THREE Emmet appreciation month (June 2024)

[Battle]

There´s static in the air, thick and suffocating in the way it crackles along Emmet´s skin, leaving the hairs along his arms raised and the skin under them uncomfortable.

The anticipation is almost as stifling as the air and as Emmet cranes his neck, looking up and up and up, still not catching the creatures eyes but feeling the way it´s awareness looms, washing over him like a fever all the same.

This is it.

Clutching Chandelure´s Pokéball firmly in his left hand he hesitates, but chastises himself in the same motion.

It´s now or never. And with a red chain nestled in his right jacket pocket and his mind firmly made up Emmet is prepared to fight a God.

There´s no story to this one, really. I love abstract prompts as much as I despise them.

DAY ONE Emmet appreciation month (June 2024)

[Bug Hunt]

Our boy got a bit tired chasing after bugs. He hasn´t had much success but that´s not really important to him. It´s warm, the air is buzzing with energy and he´s positively exhausted. The engine´s still warm and by the way the sun´s beaming down it should probably cool down a bit before driving any further, we wouldn´t want to causes any damage! Sadly, he isn´t equiped with a built-in ventilation system. (maybe he should´ve taken a hat with him)

I was going to do a background for this (a forest-y area) but I couldn´t muster up the patience and my skill in backgrounds is abysmal.

Still! Have this, have fun and if it´s a nice day wherever you are maybe you can go look for some bugs as well! (or just take a walk)
