TF RAREPAIR WEEK 2: CRISP FALL AIR

For some reason, when I was coming home from Vancouver, I stumbled on the realization that the phrase “born dry” was very similar to “bone dry” and really wanted to play around with that in an illustration since i almost never tackle typography

Trying to challenge myself to do more than just draw characters standing there lately, haha

quite proud of my stuff lately tbqh

had a surreal experience at work this morning. i was the only person on the floor when we opened and a customer came over and was like "do you mind if i ask you for help with something?" and when i jokingly said "i don't think you have much of a choice to be honest" he replied "we always have a choice" and then we both just stood there opposite each other like rival wizards of light and dark for several moments.

Currently watching: I’ve been rewatching/watching an old favorite, yugioh zexal, recently! Turns out I never actually finished the show and there was a whole 75 more episodes that’s I never knew about back then ;-;

Currently reading: I’ve been reading transformers: the idw collection. I wanted to read all the comics in order so I can have all my chronology in order

Current obsession: a lot of things really-

But mainly it’s been transformers and yugioh that have monopolized my brain! There’s just so many good designs and interesting plots

It fuckin slaps 👏👏👏 currently watching: CRISIS JUNG from Bobby Pills on youtube ; not for the feint of heart haha but it is ultimately a blood-soaked comedy currently reading: ‘Steppenwolf’ by Hermann Hesse ; was reading it on the bus and was relating a little too much to it… not sure if I should be worried about that lol current obsession: ah jeez it’s a little hard to pin down right now as I don’t have anything i feel Super Strongly about but I do enjoy Vermintide and Pathologic 😊 i’m hoping to get in some practise soon and draw a bit more relating to those but its been a busy time lately
