Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1
The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.
So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.
So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.
Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.
And the probe is working again.
From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.
There will never be peace in Palestine until the total, unequivocal defeat of the occupation. I know this has been said, but far too many people will be just fine with getting on with their lives. That is why it is imperative that we keep up the pressure, and not let Palestine become another hip, trendy cause of the month.
If makeup products are made from petroleum, are we putting prehistoric carcasses on our face to look pretty??!!!

Yudi was relatable af . Coz I'd choose a dog over people and heaven any day.
Yudhishthir : *does not even look back as his siblings and wife fall to death*
Also Yudhishthir : *refuses heaven because they didn't let his dog in*

The gods : *reviling themselves informing him that he passed their test*

Going to grad school, I see
It's not the talking, it's the doing
It's the hand that yearns for work
And its renewing
Of the self each time you try
Of purpose and of pride
It's not the waking, it's the rising
It's not what's in front but who's beside you
It's all that came before
And what it provides you
All those that held the line
Who wouldn't bow down and resign
It's not the waking, it's the rising
me, all the time: i could just die and not have to do this
Growing up is realizing that you're still the same girl from kindergarten who no one wants to talk to.
