Award-winning environmental storytelling going on in the CBC election coverage coming from various watch parties for different candidates tonight: the Liberal, NDP and even Greens parties seem full of people having musical nights, celebrating and hugging, and generally sitting in full rooms, and the Conservative watch parties are quite sparse rooms of dudes standing with their arms crossed and feet apart, the classic pose for 'I'm waiting and this is getting boring'.
Which could mean nothing
...who am I kidding, it means everything, the Cons are projected to lose lmao

a woman will see a game about raping women and be like "wow, its absolutely disgusting that someone made a game about raping women, i dont think a game platform should be selling a game about raping women" and people online will scream at her and call her a pro-censorship puritan fascist
maybe it's cuz i'm crazy, but isn't it weird that the ppl who say "trans men/mascs want to be men but not be treated as men" see "treating someone as a man" in the exact same way misogynists treat women?
like, in their opinions trans men/mascs should be:
seen but not heard
support others while not expecting anything in return
be ok with being marginalized in our own spaces
not talk about our issues, especially mental health and reproductive health
live in a very strict standard of beauty
not be too masculine
don't overshadow anyone ever
have our accomplishments and historical figures be dismissed and forgotten
not communicate our trauma or discomfort
not set boundaries
not talk about the realities of our lives and bodies
like, i'm sure i've heard all this before
