And if you go, then never ever come back.
βPain changes people, it makes them trust less, overthink more, and shut people out.β

On 4/20/17, the Wyoming PD posted a #Happy420 tweet to call attention to substance abuse. They also offered help for those in need, and promised that accepting it would not result in jail time. Source Source 2

The most frustrating thing is not being able to explain what the fuck is going on inside my head

It doesnβt FEEL like it.
βA sexual assault is an infringement on your body,β Maxwell said. But by marking their skin in their own way, people are able to redefine their relationship with their bodies.
This is a βcathartic experience,β she said, and some people in her study didnβt realize how much they were holding on to their pain until they went through the process of selecting art that carries meaning for them and was designed to symbolize their experience.Reclaiming their bodies also allows people to βshed the identity as a victim and move toward being a survivor,β Maxwell explained.

An anxiety bingo
@struggling-with-anxiety
Itβs like all the sudden youβre in a body thatβs not yours, a place you canβt recognize. Like Alice falling down the rabbit hole, you are in this place and nothing seems real or right. You want to run, but your legs arenβt yours and you canβt move. You want to scream for help, but your are struggling to breath. Lights seem blinding, sounds pierce through you like daggers. Soon you are lost in a dark room trying to find your way outβ¦ but your thoughts turn into living creatures crawling and screaming under your skin. They scream you are going insane, you are going to lose control. They tell you they are in control and youβll hurt yourself or someone else. You canβt trust your thoughts, you canβt trust yourself so you stay in the darkness so everyone is safe, soon they stop crawling and screaming, but you canβt leave the room. Your body is weak from fighting, your mind is no longer yours.
shitty parents will literally fill your ears constantly about how all worst things in the world would happen to you βin real lifeβ and then act surprised when you develop a fucking anxiety disorder
Abuse silences. Itβs so hard to learn to speak about it.
