A group of Taliban gunmen attacked an army-run school in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan, on Dec. 16 and the reported death toll is horrifying.
Over 130 people, including 100 children, have been killed in the attack.
More than 100 have also been injured after some 500 people were trapped when terrorists stormed the compound that houses the Army Public School and College.
A Taliban spokesman told wire services that the militants were ordered to kill the older children and release the younger ones.
“It’s a revenge attack for the army offensive in North Waziristan,” spokesman Muhammad Umar Khorasani told Reuters.
Six terrorists have been killed by security forces, a Pakistani general said, adding that operations had slowed down because of the risk of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted inside the school.
It took the army over six hours to gain full control of the premises.

After more than year I decide to create a new blog where I can easily rant about the images and thoughts that hover over the head. It has been over a year since I deleted my old tumblr blog (which was pretty 'successful' in the tumblr world), and it isn't until now that I have the energy to get back on it and continue posting, blogging, reblogging, arguing and ranting about things that matter in my own little world. In the past year or so I have learned that things happen for a reason and that there is no such thing as failure; instead my eyes, mind & soul have discovered the essence of living. My hope is to express my existential experience on this new platform and bombard Tumblr with pictures of my new kitty :D
