Humans are so scared of realising they're animals like all the rest of us, that they have to make up some excuse as to why they're different. Those excuses basically boil down to experiences that are universal to most life and assuming it's exclusive to them. Like no, love and compassion are not uniquely human. Most social animals share those traits. Art and beauty aren't either. Nor is language. Humans are animals like the rest of us. And that's okay. Nature is a beautiful thing, and you are part of it

Trying to stay normal about the physical nonhumanity symbol and not give in to the urge to immediately get it tattooed.
love being a snake shapeshifter because like…there are literally thousands of species, and I could be any of them at any given point. it’s like a huge game of species roulette.
its so weird being angelkin and wolfkin bc on one hand im like "release me from this flesh prison, you foolish mortals aren't worthy of my Holiness" and on the other hand im like "grrr awoooo!!! woof grr :3"
A note on terms: I do not use the terms therian or otherkin. I may technically fit into these categories, but I do not like these labels (nothing against people who do use them though). I am a physically nonhuman shapeshifting changeling fae creature, and I am a holothere.
I may occasionally use other tags, but these are the only nonhuman labels I feel really suit me.
A quick reminder: your nonhuman experiences are your own. They don't have to be 'cute' or 'fun' or 'aesthetic' and don't feel weird if your nonhuman behaviours aren't like the average experiance.
There is no average nonhuman experience, don't think too much about how others perceive your behaviours because it's no one else's business.
