Present Mic goes to visit Kurogiri/Shirakumo after the war arc, alone, because Aizawa is still in hospital. He doesn’t put his hero costume on, firstly because he’s just plain exhausted and tired of dressing up, secondly he knows this is Shirakumo and he wants his friend to see him, Hizashi, this time. Mic is quiet for a while, and then just whispers, “She’s dead. She’s gone.” He looks up at the window and says louder, “Kayama’s dead! She’s dead! Aizawa’s in the hospital, with only one leg and one eye. Please tell me that means something to you!” He jumps out of his chair, knocking it over in his haste, and approaches the window, ignoring the voices over the intercom warning him to keep his distance. “Kayama’s dead!” He shouts, quirk activating and shaking the whole room. “Aizawa was nearly killed too. And I was nowhere near! I couldn’t do anything to help them, Oboro, nothing.” He leans forward, resting his forehead against the glass, and closes his eyes.
