This is AMAZING! I love the timing and expressions~<3
OKAY SO Idk when I'll finish this but l've had this idea for awhile so like- take what l have so far
I'm hesitant to get too much farther into it cause the ending has to do with the Kallamar fight and Im TERRIFIED what I have mapped out in my head for it will be made irrelevant when that chapter comes out, I just took whatever scraps of comics/art made of that scene and did my best LMAO
But I def would like to finish it cause hoo boy when I'm pacing around my house listening to the song and watching the mind movie of it in my brain itâs pretty epic ngl
Until then you may have this suuuuper rough animatic. I hope it will suffice for now
TROD au by @bamsara
An Old Face
Sorry for the long ass comic, it wasn't intentional I swear-
This scene takes place after the lamb kills the third bishop and unlocks Sin of the Flesh, curiosity gets the better of the Lamb and sure enough, the results are overwhelming. Since then, Crowne just kinda decided to stay in this form whenever he is wandering about as it brings the lamb a bit of comfort.
They know their brother is gone, but they can't help but cling to a false version of him.
I used to be a powerlifter
(please reblog this version, as it is finished!)
The Rehabilitation of Death, by @bamsara
TROD BOOK 1 DONE!
more details (AND PHOTOS :] !!!) below the cut
Iâm super new to bookbinding but really REALLY wanted to try it out! For this, ive split trod into groups of 7 chapters or so and am making each part into its own ~400 page book.
Iâm not the happiest with how this came out (Iâve already started the second one and man it is sooo much better) but it is TREMENDOUSLY satisfying to be able to hold one of your favourite fics in your hands!!! Also this way I can convince friends to read it :3
I have yet to finish the spine and back cover. Iâm thinking of making them match in some way though! ALSO I donât have a cricut or anything because. expensive. so itâs me and my dip pen against the world
Iâm v excited to post pics of the next one bc itâs got drop caps and a charm on the bookmark and nicer end pages and everything :) but I wanna wait until itâs done I think
OK PROCESS PICS AND MORE FINAL PHOTOS
I MADE A TAROT CARD FOR THE FRONT PAGE ALSO. FOR PIZZAZ
"Death shall be here to offer you comfort, always by your side, for your are my precious vessel." This animation is for all the people who made art or think about Lamb in Narinder's hand ! Inspired as well by @bamsara TRoD Narinder's "Maintenance" of their vessel I ended up making this rough within a day, or two, very happy with it ! I will improve it if you enjoy it !
I'm curious and open for interaction!

Recently Narayana Johnson, AKA River Boy, has passed away. He was one of my favorite artists, I would listen to his music during the day to pass the time, or to calm down from a meltdown. I was devastated at the news.
I made this artwork as a tribute for him, may he rest in peace.
I absolutely adore this, from the antics to the well-communicated art~
More story planning doodles for Trod, maybe or maybe not
I know I'm drawing a lot more scenes before I've even finished the written drafts for them but if I don't have a visual of everything I'll die. anyway Im writing I prommy

Unnecessary Capitalization is one of my favorite things- Anyways, hello! Welcome to my blog! I started it literally to follow a few people on here thanks to a hyper-fixation I'm having with Cult of the Lamb content. Anyways (x2), I'm actually going to TRY and use this blog to further my hobbies of writing and creating. That also means...attempting art and tossing my stuff out into the void that is Tumblr.com. I'm going to be as open as I can, and start off with this: I really, REALLY want to learn how to draw. I want to put my thoughts and words to shape and color. But it's...hard. To be consistent, to not be a perfectionist over my work. And I'm not even that organized, so my blog will mostly be a mess of reblogs, unorganized tags, and I might even disappear regularly thanks to the aforementioned disorganization. So uh...to my future followers, mutuals, and more...thank you for your companionship, words of encouragement, and time.
Rest in peace.
I loved his music, I played it many times when I was creating art. He was inspiring to many and will be missed.
All I'm saying is, if a fic refers to characters by their physical attributes instead of their names or pronouns ("he smiled at the older" "the blonde laughed") when we know who the character is, and ESPECIALLY if the descriptions include "ravenette" or "cyanette" or other ridiculous words--
I'm clicking out of that fic so fast my AO3 history won't even register I've been there.
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

I really wanted to make an animatic to this song with Cult of the lamb bc im hyperfixating on them both-
Instead of being excecuted like in the game, my lamb was traveling in a group trying to run away from the bishops when they got ambushed by them instead :)

These are more focused on the background stuff rather than the usual "what would the character do in XY situation" kinds of asks. I've been looking for something like this for quite a while and in the end decided to make my own. Feel free to use, go wild, enjoy
What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?
How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)
What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?
And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?
How did you choose their name and why? Was it simply based on vibes or is there any specific meaning behind the name? Are the reasons behind their name different in- and out of universe?
What was the thought process behind their appearance? Did you go mostly for the aesthetic or are there other reasons they look the way they do?
What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?
What is the origin of their personality? And let's be honest - how much of it is projecting?
How big is their role in the story? Do they make a frequent appearance or are they a character with little "screentime" but big influence? Or are they just a favourite background guy?
What is their main character arc in the story? Where do they start and how do they develop? Do they get a happy ending or is their story a tragic one?
Is there any existing character from other media that your character resembles? Was the resemblance intentional or was it a coincidence?
Do you have a playlist for the character? What songs do you associate with them and why?
Do you have a voice claim for the character? What do you imagine the character sounds like?
Do you have any quotes tied to the character, either from the story itself or from another source that fit them?
Have you ever made a moodboard for them?
Is there any memes or running jokes associated with the character, both in- and out of universe?
Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way?
Does the character have other characters connected to them? Do you have a family tree and "offscreen" connections made up for them or do they exist in a vacuum purely for the purpose of the story?
What is your general favourite thing about the character? What is your least favourite?
Bonus question: share any additional thoughts, art, favourite scenes, anything you've been waiting for a chance to ramble about

When writing always remember⌠a character flaw is only a flaw until becomes useful.Â
Is your protagonist manipulative? Well thatâs awful⌠until they manipulate the antagonist into making a decision that saves the lives of their friends.Â
Is your protagonist a skeptic? Well thatâs not good⌠until someone tries to lie to them.Â
Is your protagonist overprotective? That sucks⌠until someone they love is in danger.Â
Is your protagonist remorseless? Well that makes them pretty unlikeable⌠until a hard decision has to be made.Â
I'm not usually one to do these, since I feel like Luck itself would just ignore me for a week to spite me- But let's give it a try!
If you see this on your dashboard, reblog this, NO MATTER WHAT and all your dreams and wishes will come true.
Ooooh! More writing stuff to keep in mind, thank you! Perfect for outside or explorative scenes.
I made these as a way to compile all the geographical vocabulary that I thought was useful and interesting for writers. Some descriptors share categories, and some are simplified, but for the most part everything is in its proper place. Not all the words are as useable as others, and some might take tricky wording to pull off, but I hope these prove useful to all you writers out there!
(save the images to zoom in on the pics)
Keeping this for later!
Apparently a lot of people get dialogue punctuation wrong despite having an otherwise solid grasp of grammar, possibly because theyâre used to writing essays rather than prose. I donât wanna be the asshole who complains about writing errors and then doesnât offer to help, so here are the basics summarized as simply as I could manage on my phone (âdialogue tagâ just refers to phrases like âhe said,â âshe whispered,â âthey askedâ):
âFor most dialogue, use a comma after the sentence and donât capitalize the next word after the quotation mark,â she said.
âBut what if youâre using a question mark rather than a period?â they asked.
âWhen using a dialogue tag, you never capitalize the word after the quotation mark unless itâs a proper noun!â she snapped.
âWhen breaking up a single sentence with a dialogue tag,â she said, âuse commas.â
âThis is a single sentence,â she said. âNow, this is a second stand-alone sentence, so thereâs no comma after âshe said.ââ
âThereâs no dialogue tag after this sentence, so end it with a period rather than a comma.â She frowned, suddenly concerned that the entire post was as unasked for as it was sanctimonious.
Come and let us be merry

Rest in peace River boy, your music meant so much to so many people, you'll be remembered forever
Hey remember the comic that I teased like... an embarrassingly long time ago (the start of the month)?? I finally finished it. It's. It's done. Enjoy
I'm not gonna lie this one was kind of difficult to make?? Partly because the start of this year has just been really difficult in a lot of respects that I don't intend to discuss, but also because given the state of my sanity lately, actually finishing this was a fistfight at every turn. Mostly I think I've just been looking at it for too long, but there's a lot of like... big feelings going on in this one and I wanted it to read the way I intended. But, my own difficulties with this aside, I do have some actually comic- relevant stuff to say about it:
This is kind of supposed to be a sad follow up to the wedding comic, as Julon, the Disciple being taken to paradise is, in fact, one of the characters whose wedding was depicted. They lived a good life, and were probably around for a couple hundred years, and their two children are adults by the time they die. Julon also wanted to be left in the afterlife in the event of their death- I imagine the Disciples get to choose whether they come back or not- and they do have a sister waiting for them in the great beyond. I considered making a comic prior to this about how they actually die, but I couldn't figure out how I wanted it to go (in my save that they're based on, they died on missionary, but in the AU, they are murdered, either by a dissenter or a spy) I never quite figured that out, hence why I didn't make that.
Also, in my AU, Narinder is Lambert's... tether to the living world, if that makes sense. My Lambert tends to get a little disconnected from reality at times, and for a while would spend longer and longer chunks of time in Purgatory, partly because they found it more and more difficult to come back. That said, Narinder for a long time would have dreams of Purgatory, and sometimes, should Lambert be there during the day, would zone out for what felt like a long period of time only to snap back to reality and realize it's only been a couple of seconds, because a shred of his soul (particularly, the part of his soul that connected him to his crown) still resides in Purgatory after being there for so long. So when Lambert comes to him and expresses difficulty staying grounded in the living world after being in Purgatory, Narinder offers to be their tether, and keep them from being swept away in the currents of the afterlife. Hence why he is the one who pulls them back to the real world. I think I could've shown this better visually in this comic?? And it's worth noting that this is a kind of silly concept that I don't know I want to stick with long term, but... oh well. It's a thought I had that's now... I guess officially in the AU lol.
Anyways. Enjoy this little comic I made, it's certainly not perfect but I hope y'all like it. Have a good one lovelies :D
Almost 2 months of mine to make this. I wanted to try produce an animated story by my self, but oh boy did it a shit ton of work.
Music from the game obviously. I separated vocals and instruments of some songs, but it's hard to have the result that I want (ă ďšă )
Normally I don't post my longer video on here, but eh, it's short enough, so... ÂŻ\_ (áľâá´â)_/ÂŻ
Thereâs still more to the storyâI'll see if I can continue the project. Any feedback or help is welcome!
You can also watch my stuffs on my YouTube if you want to â˘á´â˘
Here's the piece I did for the @cotl-narilamb-zine! This is my first zine and it was a ton of fun to take part in with all of the wonderful creators and mods! I hope y'all download and enjoy all of the wonderful work and love put into the project!
