My counselor once told me to make sure I wasn’t doing things to distract myself from the boredom rather than try to sate it. I feel its one of the most important things he ever said to me.

When I’m distracting myself from the boredom, I read or game excessively so I don’t feel the emptiness of boredom. It’s a short term thing, and it only staves the boredom as long as I’m doing the thing.

When I’m sating myself from the boredom, I pursue things I am genuinely interested in and so find myself feeling fulfilled and happier for a longer period of time. Even if I stop doing it temporarily, I don’t immediately fall apart as I would with the distraction.

Okay hold up, this is not related to this blog at all, but Expensive Headphones is one of my brotps, and I have so many head cannons for it-

Like, I think that, once a week, Michael and Rich will meet up, each holding a bag filled with their respective bandana collections. They trade the ones they don’t wear often with each other, and they buy ones they think the other would really like for special occasions, such as birthdays.

Alright I know I’ve posted probably too much on this but I’m writing emails that I plan on sending to my teachers this weekend, this could go horribly since my parents are extremely transphobic and will hate me even more and my counselor is gonna be mad I went against her but this is like the millionth time I’ve come out and I’m kinda over this so we aren’t stopping till the teachers listen to me, wish me luck

Okay, I think i have it now and i appreciate it.

I’ve just made a bet against my Dad that if this post gets 2 million notes then i can get a Puppy. [like the one underneath]

I didn’t realise how much 2 million was and i couldn’t take that number down now. It should look like 2,000,000 in the notes bar.

He’s convinced that this will never reach that number, and very confident about it so Let’s prove him wrong!! He thinks this will get about 25 notes beofre it’s left in the dust.

You don’t have to do it for me. But for the point and to prove him wrong. He has to pay and everything so let’s make him suffer with it!!
