Alone in the middle of a desolate wasteland, BarrenClan is a hardy and irritable group of cats. They seem to have lived there for generations, and are determined to eke out survival in this unforgiving land. But one of their new apprentices, the bold and curious Pinepaw, is determined to discover the terrible truths buried under the sand, as well as rise to meet the changes coming to his Clan.
