Let's hope he at least pays child support now hahaha
Does Hermes change after the entire Ody situation or does he still sleep regularly with mortals?
He stops for like a few years but then 100% starts up again
How do any of Telemachus' parents handle the affections that other deities or mythical creatures might give to their son? I mean, considering Titan Ody's experiences with affection (that one goddes that cursed him) before he met Penelope and Diomedes .I'd imagine he'd be a little weary. How does Telemachus handle it himself?
What are their favorite foods? (godly food or otherwise)
Telemachus is rather blunt and unlike his father he doesn't mind openly rejecting someone. Ody also might create shelters for his baby and Diomedes and Penelope don't mind beating up annoying gods.
So aside from making people calm, what other abilities does Titan Odysseus have? Who is Odysseus's least favorite family member and most favorite family member? ( I'm talking about those of both Titans and other Olympian gods?)
How did Odysseus manage to convince Penelope of letting him date Diomedes?
Also, what do Penelope and Diomedes do to bond with each other?
1) He can remove strong emotions, remove specific sounds, he can ensure that created by him sanctuaries won't be found and in addition to that most of the basic god powers like shape shifting. His powers are more about affecting someone's mind, emotions and senses, he can slightly affect the surroundings but he isn't too good at it.
2) His least favourite are probably Zeus, Chronos and . Meanwhile his favourites are Artemis, Helios, Pan and Athena.
3) It wasn't that difficult to convince her. She was already very happy to see Ody ask for permission to court someone. Ody just showed her Dio and after spending some time she would make it clear if she approves or not.
4) It's a magical power of two introverts to get along even when not doing anything special. They like to just talk, enjoy their hobbies or go on a hunt.
Ody is told that he is needed somewhere only to enter the palace where the princess is like:

Helloooo! I came again to comment on another passage
I might be obsessed…
I just imagined Ody singing that part of The Challenge
"Just know, I'll be here, buying you time!"
Unfortunately, weaving an infinite shroud doesn't seem to be helping much now
*cries*
Hello 👋
It's good to see you again 🫶
Well...you are right about the weaving...but I have some other plans to recreate the vibe🤫🫣🤭
Hi...I'm that person who wrote you the long comment about Ody dying instead of Achilles...
I love this idea of yours!!!
Oh god the tragedy!!! Priam probably saw his son as someone good who did everything that was needed for his people and now when he wants to retrieve his son's body he is forced to face the "monster" who killed his son only to discover it's a grieving child.
And referencing in your story how Agamemnon seemed to question Ody being Achilles' father...What if Achilles during the war tried to avoid being called all the baby names by his dad because he wanted to be taken seriously by all the older kings and generals?
Achilles would on purpose keep his tent further from his father's, go to other camps and where he would spend time with Patroclus, go hunting with literally anyone but his dad and suddenly....his dad is gone.
He guards his father's body preventing it from being buried (Athena would keep Ody's body intact like gods did with Hector's). He does this because he can't accept his dad being gone. He placed Ody's body in the tent of the Ithacan king as if he was sleeping and still had a chance to wake up.
And then Priam shows up. The Trojan king wanted to believe that Achilles was a monster but he sees a scared child who wishes to be hugged by his dad.
They make an agreement in the end.
And finally when people are able to convince Achilles to let Odysseus go, to have a proper burial so he can find happiness in Elysium he goes to his father's tent and starts looking through his thighs and he breaks down.
There were carved wooden toys. Almost the same ones he had in his childhood. Odysseus was probably making them in free time for Telemachus hoping to give them to him some day. Achilles chuckled with teary eyes remembering when as a kid he begged his parents that if he's going to have little siblings, nobody is going to take his toys.
He looked further and in between wooden toys were carved combs, tools and figures of warriors...Odysseus was making gifts for BOTH of his sons. Achilles had to stop himself from crying.
To distract himself he looked at papers and maps on the desk. There he witnessed plans to invade Troy. An idea of a trap with hidden soldiers inside, then he gazed at the wooden toys...he had a plan how to end this war.
When Helen was with them, Achilles refused to see her. He knew he wouldn't blame her for his father's death, and seeing (/hearing) the way she cried hearing about Odysseus' passing, he knew she already blamed herself more than enough.
But what hurt Achilles the most was realising how YOUNG his father was. He was a teen dad. They had around ten year gap in age. Achilles was in his twenties, people around him would call him a kid and yet now he's a similar age his father went to war. This man had an entire future before him and it was taken in one fight.
Now he truly understands why his father always hated war.
Because in war there are no winners...just survivors.
What if Odysseus died instead of Achilles. Wouldn't that be fucked up
Like Patroclus dies, and then he kills Hector, and then his dad dies. He now has three corpses in his tent. And Priam comes to beg for Hector's corpse and tells him to think of his father. But his father is right there. He's dead. Your son killed my father.
What if Poseidon wants to make Ody's experience in the human world miserable because he's in love with Ody and he wants to marry him.
I have a little mermaid au in my head
Odysseus can figure out what most human stuff does or is for. He is smart. But some stuff he is like WTF IS THIS?!
He 100% bribes Eurylochus into letting him look around ship wrecks with the idea that he might finding something pretty to give Ctimene
Polites enables Ody's obsession with the human world
After rescuing Penelope. Odysseus now wants even more to go on land to learn about humans and he thinks she is the prettiest girl he has ever seen.
How far do you think one can go down the rabbit hole of what ifs? Are there any two outlandish to consider in the world of Epic the musical?
It all depends on imagination and some boundaries. For example if the "what if" has literally NOTHING to do with characters and story you are basically writing something completely different.
Some of my favourite fics are a simple "what if" that is followed by a long chain of consequences. They are a lot of fun and it's nice to see authors considering a domino effect this big. (My Illiad fanfic started as a simple question that snowballed into something bigger)
For the same reason I'm not the biggest fan of stories that are just a copy and paste of the lyrics of Epic songs.
At the same time I want to say "I'm sorry" and "Aww, thank you" because it means I'm a capable writer hahaha
I'm currently working on a pretty big story based on Illiad and Odyssey but I don't want to share publicly any details until I have enough of it planned out. You can ask privately about it if you want <3
