Season 8, episode 9: Better Half
Said he'd fuck Wilson in the ass
Verdict: FRUITY
drawing of my OC named Harry Potter. i created him when i was a very young child and staying at my aunt's house when she asked me if i'd ever read the Harry Potter books before and I said no and my beautiful mind immediately imagined a fun cartoon hippo named Harry Potter who starred in various picture books and i was severely disappointed when she showed me the sorcerer's stone and some lame as fuck nerd was on the cover instead. so when you think about it, mine was actually first.

does anyone get that feeling when they have this oc/character theyre obsessing about and they want to yap abt them to their friends ahhashskhhjaak
(yes this is me asking for permission to yap to you abt my oc.)
Darry is such a 20-year-old boy. The fandom views him as this middle aged dad, but he is very much a 20-year-old big brother supervising his younger brothers while he himself is left unsupervised. He’s the embodiment of that quote “in my defense I was also left unsupervised.”
He eats chocolate cake for breakfast and lets his brothers do the same. He tells his brothers not to do anything that would land them in a boys home, but he fights in rumbles, lets them fight, hangs out with criminals, is ready to hide Dally from the cops, etc, because gang code and greaser code is sacrosanct in that ride-or-die, ritualized, romanticised way your social structure is at that age. (Also because that’s the only support system they have.) He has a rivalry with his high school best friend that they’re both still really hung up on. He shows off by flexing his muscles.
Darry Curtis is a hormonal, adolescent, barely-not-a-teenager who should absolutely not be solely responsible for his brothers.
phone that I actually want
They’re all happy right? Wrong.
(Curtis bros edition! 1/3)
1965 - Johnny and Dally are dead. Their parents are too. But it’s okay! They’ll get through it together.
1967 - At 19 years old, Soda is drafted into war. He goes MIA three months later, they find his body a month after that.
1970 - Pony’s off in college now, though the Curtises troubles are far from over. A heart condition they didn’t know he had ends up killing him after a track meet. He was 19, Darry was the only Curtis kid to reach his 20th birthday.
1975 - Darry’s thirty years old now, he has a wife and kids. He finally got out of the east side. He has everything he ever wanted. Except it’s not enough. He misses his brothers, he misses his parents, he misses his friends. He can’t do this anymore. After all, Ponyboy was supposed to be the one to get out of Tulsa. Not him. So he takes a reach for the bottle and never puts it down…
Darry’s kids are forced to grow up without a father figure, his wife has to raise them alone. Pony never made it out of Tulsa, Soda never got a chance to grow up. The Curtis brothers hadn’t seen Steve or Two-bit in years even before their deaths. The two weren’t expected their reunion with their former friends to be at a funeral. Everything went wrong, but soon the Curtis family is back together again. For good this time.
wow! Writing fluff is so much fun! 🎀
Proof that y’all asked for this so I don’t get ripped to shreds… so know I can’t be blamed! (I 100% can)
