I'm curious to see how you interpret friendships we don't get to see a lot of (Mera and Saiko, Teruhashi and Kuboyasu, Hairo and Saiko (again)...?), just any we don't see together alone very often

Okay okay this took awhile but tbf, my canvas kept deleting on me XD

Gosh i love thier friendships and, while i get that the anime and the comics couldn’t show us much, man i WISH!

Mera and Saiko: they talk a lot of shit over food, Saiko thinks it’s a love language to provide so Provide he will, mera is happy but she is ready to knock down his better than thou attitude in a heartbeat,

Teruhashi and Kuboyasu: Kuboyasu just needs more people to watch these movies with him, please! And Teruhashi was listening! She was paying attention like all good perfect pretty girls do! Until she actually got interested and now they swap movie trades all the time, Teruhashi complains about the story turns and Kuboyasu on the special effects, lean into late nights where they throw popcorn at the TV and dramatically hush each other when their favorite part jumps on.

Saiko and Hairo: honestly? Therapy Session. Saiko goes on about Hairo’s inability to not help, and that it’s okay to say no, whereas Hairo goes on about Saiko’s inability to see past his father’s teachings. It’s okay to have friends and not worry about your future for awhile. They can be teens. All while Hairo benchpresses him cause why not get a little exercise in?

Chiyo and Nendou: i like to think they get together to surprise their friends with baked goods every once in awhile. Chiyo comes in with the hot gossip and Nendou drops in some unknown lore that he randomly picked up on a Tuesday afternoon cause no one thinks twice when saying shit around him. Gossip buddies with a flare for baking

Teruhashi and Nendou: honestly i think they’d have the hardest time to connect, but not for a lack of trying. They just have different ways of expressing love that connecting get’s hard. That is until Nendou offers up playing some games. They start off with competitive games, and whilst Teruhashi is of a higher payed income, gaming isn’t something she can do with Makato around so she’s woefully unprepared. She’s already competitive, throw in Nendou’s playful ribbing and you get the most action pact gaming sess. Don’t worry eventually they switch to Co-op to mess around together with.

Kuboyasu and Mera: i just think Kuboyasu trying so hard to convince his friends to take on motorcycles is very sweet. Of all the girls, Mera is the one to take it pretty fast. And since he wants to make sure they stay safe, he insists in full motorcycle gear. Lending Mera Saiki’s helmet until they get her one, she’s VERY excited about it.

And some mini Kaidou and Saiki doodles since i didn’t add em in. Besides, i wish they had more interactions together on just being first friends. I feel they would watch american shows together, and Saiki only agrees cause he can’t be spoiled.

id like to imagine saikis friends hate kusuke. like, absolutely despise him. they just get this...vibe, yknow? one that makes them tense up everything he opens his mouth, one that makes them want to pummel him into the ground the moment they see him next to saiki.

You get me. I think the moment all his friends find out that Saiki has a brother, they sorta expect this equally quiet kid that can be just as fun.

They meet Kuusuke and it's MEGA red flags. Like Nendou and Kaido do not like him since London, and Teruhashi has a HATRED for Kuusuke.

I get giddy thinking about it. Cause now it's jsut a matter of everyone seeing how *weird* Kusuke is with Kusuo and fighting tooth and nail to make a barrier.

They gotta choose the most levelheaded of them to be the buffer, so clearly they have Hairo up there.

It's just the Staunch Buffer that Saiki now is like, he pulls his friends away instead of them protecting him cause Kuusuke is weird and he doesnt want him to infect them.

Like *argh* I live for his friends trying to get him away, and Saiki fighting for their honor when Kuusuke is being mean.

I think it's the same with Makato and Teruhashi btw. Teruhashi gets the same treatment and is WAY more willing to beat up her brother if it means her friends stay with her.

The other day I was trying to sleep but instead I thought about what kind of like... super powers Ivo and Stone would have.... which turned into a whole AU.

Like people who have powers are called EVOS. The powers arent necessarily genetic they can just happen in anyone but also relatives tend to have similar powers? Or something. The population is a 50/50 EVO/NonEVO

Theres also no Mobians... theyre just EVO humans in this AU. Sonic Knuckle and Tails just have Speed, Strength, and Flying EVO powers. Shadow has Teleportation.

Ivos power is Amplification. Allowing him to radiate and/or touch someone to power up their EVO power.

When his power is working on others it causes glowing lines to form on the body as well as making the persons eyes glow. If used too much too quickly it can cause someone to lose control.

I wanted his power to be something unrelated to his intelligence but also be a power people would want to exploit with it so I thought a support power like this would be perfect. Gerald also had a similar power which is why GUN did what they could to get Ivo in their ranks.

Because his power is completely in his control (he must be conscious for his power to work and he can fully control the radius & power of the amp so it cant be manipulated.) so he can hold it over peoples heads to get what he wants.

NonEvos are often recruited into military positions because the military can Bio Augment them and give them kinda... lesser/general abilities (like super soldiers.) they dont augment EVOS because theyre afraid of giving people too much power...

Stone was thought to be NonEVO and the test they give new recruits ran negative but its only because his ability is almost impossible to detect. His power Technopathy lets him communicate with and control machines, he used his ability to skew his results and got augmented powers as well.

His desire to work with Ivo comes from 'meeting' some of Ivos inventions. Theyre much more intelligent then most machines and very sweet despite being killing machines technically. Theyre also VERY loyal to their creator so he doesnt try to manipulate them.

More and more Stone relates more to Ivos Badniks than the humans hes around. Like the Niks he becomes completely loyal and loving to Ivo.

When Ivo Amps Stones power it connects him to basically every bit of tech within his controlled radius. The first time he does it it doesnt end well (they were at the GUN compound in Ivos lab.... it was a lot of tech and a lot of information).

Ivo may or may not be completely infatuated with Stone.... 's circuit board-like Bot Amp lines. But if he were it would only be because the lines are cool cuz he likes tech and no other reason. [citation needed]

What if instead of saiki k it was saiki GAY. Instead of disastrous powers that cause him inconvenience, he has disastrous homosexuality that cause him gay panic. Instead of the jet black wings and dark reunion, its the jet black pronouns and pride reunion. Instead of Aren Kuboyasu, its Aren cute-boy-yasssu. Instead of pk academy, it's pgay academy. Instead of "hey buddy/partner", it's "hey queen". Instead of Kineshi Hairo, it's Kineshi Hairo.

I have been enjoying your comics so much (your Stone is so cool and cute especially) and I have been wondering: Is the comic about Robotnik‘s robot noises the first time Stone really realized he likes this man - since he was not exactly elated in their first meeting - or was he already being drawn in by Robotnik before that? Maybe realized that the doctor is more human than he would like to admit at some point?

It snuck up on him, but there were signs.

To be honest, I think Stone wanted to take care of Robotnik even before he started liking the man. Something about the Doctor just screams "I've been doing everything on my own for far too long" and well, it was Stone's job to make life a bit easier for him. Soon enough, the reward of a job well done started to get confused with the satisfaction of just seeing the Doctor happy.

Eventually, Stone just had to accept he grew fond of Robotnik.

The Doctor took his time before making the robot noises, not consciously, but because he didn't feel comfortable with someone around after spending all of his life alone. That moment is important because first, Ivo is finally relaxed enough to do it (even if he doesn't even realize he was avoiding it) and for the first time Stone is hit with the fact that he just wants to see more of this man being relaxed, not because it means he has successfully done his job, but because it's... cute.

random thing that pisses me off is when people get personally offended by the idea that a character is ugly even when its basically canon, BEING UGLY ISNT EVEN A BAD THING!! people get so mad at me when i say yumehara is probably kinda ugly but its pretty much canon

"shes pretty, she just gets compared to teruhashi" BUT MERA AND AIURA BOTH STILL GOT ATTENTION NEXT TO TERUHASHI 😭 so unless theyre the third and fourth prettiest girls in the world, yes yumehara is a little ugly and i love that for her!! shes just like me, please let me have this!! leave me alone!!!

How do you think robotnik would respond to a truly angry stone? (either to him or someone else?) Your stone is always shooting beams of love to him, I feel like it would be jarring for Robotnik to realize he's not always like that lol

I actually have a little comic planned about the first time Stone got angry at Robotnik, but I never considered Stone angry at someone else. I figure it would be...

How do y'all think the first name reveal gonna go? I kinda hope they go with the bit where a loud noise/interruption plays every time Stone tries to say his name. Then later when/if Robotnik shows up he just casually drops it like, "Where is -insert name-" "Who?" "My Agent, My Syco-friend, Stone??"

Post canon Teruhashi and Saiki starting to be more open about the things they enjoy without worrying about if they seem "perfect" or if they "blend in" enough. But because they both struggle at first they end up helping each other.

For example, Teruhashi seems to really like pets (her birthday episode), so her and Saiki go to an animal shelter and she goes WILD playing with the dogs and cats. And when she feels a little self cautious, Saiki reminds her to "just have fun and enjoy herself, it doesn't matter what other people think"

Vise versa, Teruhashi takes saiki to karaoke and encourages him to sing his heart out even if he's in front of someone.

Like they'd be SO supportive of each other >^< oh and also they talk shit together all the time bc they are both such sass queens istg

Art piece for a human au I have in my brain. Perks of being an artist include doing your own art for a fic that you wrote for you. The self indulgence is crazyyyy

Made a small (and rushed, and overall low quality) Azura doodle for the project too.

In my head this is a very similar story to "Eliza and Her Monsters" if you know it. Except I haven't read that book in years and I can't tell what ideas are mine versus the book but I don't want to go back and read it all lmao

Anyways, the premise of this would be Luz is a recent high-school graduate and she is in her last summer before college. She's known online as TheGoodWitch, the creator of the hit series The Legend of Azura (it's not as overly flowery in this au, more like Boiling Isles weirdness, as is custom from our Luz). Seemingly overnight the fan base of this series went from big to wayyy too many people and Luz has never felt more seen but also like there is so much pressure on her.

She had always promised herself she would finish the comic before college, so she has a goal that she'll finish it by the end of the summer. But than an Incident happens (undecided what) and Luz goes to spend the summer with Eda, a close family friend and job giver outer.

So she's working in this small town of Gravesfield, and meets all these interesting characters around town and a particularly pretty Amity Blight. A rich girl with a summer home right down the road. And wow! Amity turns out to be the biggest fan ever of The Legend of Azura!

It would be a shortish fic and mostly lighthearted because I think silly goofy vibes would fit this story best. But yeah. I think I'll write it to get it out of my system. And I also want to play around with maybe it being a part of a series because I love huntlow too and want to write about them... I'll find a way mwhahaha~

Anyways. That's my (very brief explanation of my) story idea. It's rough but I'm having a lot of fun coming up with diffrent interactions, and where diffrent characters have settled jn this human realm. Very fun. Would recommend.
