Next colour gang design! The hands on this one drove me insane, so pls forgive me if they're a little off, I tried 😭

Headcannons below cut

HEADCANNONS:

Red is second oldest and second strongest in the colour gang, bested in both categories by Second only

He's very muscular and obsessed with fighting (as a sport, he's actually quite pacifistic)

He's transmasc and has autism + ADHD (not me projecting onto fictional characters /j)

He has way to many animals and he is often messy or covered in mud from tending to his animals

He is very protective of his friends, hence why he's always the first to attack at any sign of danger

I may be a bit biased against TDL because I love the colour gang and you know, the whole...killing them thing

Got me thinking though, do names act as coding? Because TCO and TDL got powers from their names, and TDL acts like a classic villian/"dark lord". But Victim is openly aggressive in Ava VI...this is a stretch but maybe Rocket corp has some kind of tech for removing code? That might actually make a TDL redemption more likely if he's still alive

That's probably not cannon but imma add it to my huge pile of headcanons

Random thought: does anyone know why the Ava fandom is more forgiving to TDL than Victim? I've been thinking and they're very similar really (both harmed TCO and TSC in a quest to defeat Alan)

I'm just curious because they're seen as two completely different characters

I tried my best explaining and understanding the question!

(My english isn’t the best)

A heads up: i explained more than i needed to!

First i wanted to show how i color

There are 4 simple steps

Base

Shadows

Light

Details

Before i color i decide where the light is coming from, so I’d know what im doing with light and shadows

Now with the actual shading and lighting

It’s actually just 2 easy steps, for me atleast

I’d say my shading&lighting is kinda lazy..

I know it hard to see it, so how about we actually use it on a model or two

Examples:

I used blue and yellow as an example to show what it looks like with warm and cool colors :p

You can see how it changes when you add shading and lighting (tho you cant see the light that much…)

For blue i gave him for shading analogues colors that means the colors are neighbors on the color wheel, the same with yellow.

Its good to know a bit of color theory! It can help! (Im also learning)
