Iwai, aka Gecko, has been revealed!
He wields a machete and can utilize multiple types of guns, along with his persona Black Bart sporting Gun/Nuclear skills.
Kawakami, aka Madame, is here!
She wields a cutlass along with a flintlock pistol as her weapons. Her persona, Anne Bonny, was an Irish Pirate who terrorized the Caribbean. She was a brutal fighter who even garnered the respect of her fellow crewmen, and has become one of most famous female pirates of all time. Her design has a bunch of things going for it, but I specifically wanted to base it off of figureheads who guard the bow of the ship.
Ichiko Ohya, aka Scout, is here! She’s the group’s initial navi and wields a mini SMG and bat. Her skills consist of the Psy element and multiple status moves.
Her persona, Mata Hari, was a famous Dutch spy who gained intel on the Germans during WWI. She was particularly known for her exotic dancing, which aided her efforts in espionage.
Tae Takemi, aka Doc, is here to heal your wounds whether you like it or not! She specializes in using surgical throwing needles and wields a sniper rifle that doubles her crit chance. Her skills include Ice, Curse, and a multitude of healing spells.
Her persona, Metrodora, was an author from ancient Greece who wrote one of the oldest living medical texts in history, On the Diseases and Cures for Women. Aside from her work, however, very little is known about the woman, her personal life shrouded in mystery. However, the legacy she left behind is still being referenced to this day, and it must be stated that she was a physician who was well read and studied during a period that predominantly centered around men.
Toranosuke Yoshida, aka Titan, has been revealed!!! Unlike the other Phantom Thief members, he prefers to not wield a firearm out of virtue. He’d rather use diplomacy to persuade shadows to join their plea. As for his melee weapon, he uses a shield that can be used to deflect attacks and be thrown as a discus. Yoshida also uses Agi/Phys skills.
His persona, Odysseus, was a man who appeared in both the Iliad and the Odyssey. In the former, he was a brilliant mind and was more analytical as a foil to Achilles. He is a voice of reason renowned for his self-restraint and diplomatic skills, being an eloquent speaker that can persuade even the most tenacious of people. He is also the genius behind the Trojan Horse (Which I incorporated into the design).
In the Odyssey, it chronicled Odysseus’ adventure post Trojan War. One particular part showcased his cunning against the infamous Cyclopes, Polyphemus, where he outsmarted them and stole their sheep before escaping the island. The man goes through hell and back before returning to his wife in Ithaca and becoming king once more.
Chihaya Mifune, aka Sibyl, is here! She is the team Navigator, and assists her friends by reading enemies, seeing into possible outcomes, and bestowing buffs!
The Pythia, her persona, is the priestess who held the court at Pytho, sanctuary of the Delphinians that was dedicated to Apollo. The title of Pythia was handed to each new priestess after the previous one’s death, thus continuing the cycle. It was the Pythia’s job to deliver prophecies upon which were regarded as truth, stealing the public’s favor.
For the design I decided to base it off of the true interpretations of angels what with the spinning discs and the all seeing eyes. Various Pythias of the past are strewn into the design as well, embedded as statues. Chihaya would sit in its center like a throne, helping the party from a distance.
Sae Nijima, aka Ace, is here! She wields tonfas as her weapons of choice and uses a Desert Eagle as her firearm! Her elemental skills consists of Bless/Zio, and her entire costume has a featherman vibe to it, emphasizing her drive for justice.
Joan of Arc (or Jeanne D’Arc in french) was a heroine of France who fought during the Hundred Year War. Disguised as a man, she was the figurehead who rallied the nation and lead countless victories in the name of France. She met an untimely end when captured by french nobles and was delivered to the pro-English bishop, burned at the stake for multiple charges. However, she was later acquitted of said charges and was deemed a martyr.
Some interesting tidbids that influenced Joan’s design: (Big thanks to @thoth-bubble for helping me with the design and symbolism)
- Flame patterns to reference her burning at the stake
- A visor to pair with Ace
- A speedometer shaped like a crown
- Tesla wheels to signify her Zio affiliation
- A Voltaire signature on the flank that symbolizes his satirical book on Joan, with one particular quote that had Joan writing on an Englishman’s bottom as a vulgar display. This vulgarity is mirrored here as it is now a tramp stamp on Joan herself

Imagine, after Akari discovers a way to return home and tells Ingo, he agrees to accompany her as it’s not safe to travel such a dangerous track alone. He informs the Pearl Clan of his  decision, Irida is saddened to say goodbye but understanding of his choice to return to the time he came from. Then Ingo tells his Lady Sneaseler…
He expects her to be upset by his choice, after all she had done form him. Saving his life in the icelands, giving him a purpose among the Pearl Clan, becoming his closest friend in a way that reminded him so much of those warm purple flames that haunt his memory.
Instead of anger or betrayal, she just nods, before turning away and climbing up the mountain. Ingo is left standing alone in the cold wind as he watches her ascent. He then straightens up, tugs his cap down over his eyes, and returns to Jubilife Village.
Hours later, as they’re all saying their final goodbyes before Akari summons Arceus, Ingo can’t help but glance toward the mountains after every hug or handshake. Irida tries to comfort him, assuring she’ll make absolutely sure that whoever fills his position will take the best care of Lady Sneasler and her kits.
It’s then that the clawed Noble of the Highlands makes her appearance, accompanied by some of her mature sneasel offspring and her basket clearly carrying something heavy within it. Ingo is surprised but grateful to see her one last time.
Except it’s not the last time at all, as Lady Sneaseler hands her eldest kit a razor claw and then joins Ingo beside Akari as every one watchers her kit evolve into the next Pearl Noble of the highlands.
After the initial shock Ingo quickly realized what this all meant and is so very moved that she would choose to stay beside her warden. He asks if she’s sure, as while he can’t remember the details of his home, he knows it’s dramatically different from Hisui and she may become the only one of her kind. She just smirks and opens her basket to reveal her latest clutch of eggs, safely secured in enough fur, feathers, and foliage for a safe travel to their new home.
And so, this is how just a few weeks later, after finally being reunited at long last with his brother, Emmet got to experiance the joy of being severely poisoned by a half dozen tiny purring sneaslets.

not good at explaining my own silly thoughts… but im thinking like. pla style. mans ingo goes missing for around 6-7 months, not due to him being sent to the past, but rather him getting roped in a chain of experiments attempting to create the ultimate pokemon/human fusion or something weird lol bottom line is he goes poof and comes back built different. hes not the only one, either. dozens of missing persons cases seem to have simultaneously been solved around the world after whoever their captive was decided to release them to fend for themselves. Weirdly enough, all these cases seem to coincide with the mysterious mass disappearance of powerful pokemon trainers that shook the globe a good half a year back.
now theres some weird fuckin lookin pokemon just wandering around this mf, wearing old, raggedy human clothing belonging to missing people who show some eerily human mannerisms, nobody really knows whats going on, but after this little sneasel finds its way to his and his brother’s secret hangout spot, wearing his brother’s hat and coat, and using chalk to write out his name on the asphalt (rather shittily, thanks to a lack of thumbs), Emmet instantly knows something really fuckin weird is going downtown. And that this weird shapeshifting cat is his brother. Hes mostly just happy to see him again. With a hint of unbridled rage bubbling up at the realization that “WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!? I WILL START BITING PEOPLE” or whatevs lol. It’s up to them to try and figure out what is going on, how to stop this from happening again, and to find those responsible to turn him and everyone else back human again.
