Exposure therapy but it’s just me staring at myself without my glasses on so I get used to my bare face again
I’ll be honest, I thought people were joking whenever I saw posts like “gay people are making everyone gay!!” I honestly thought people didn’t think that, but my friend recently told me that her grandma asked her aunt if I was her girlfriend. Her aunt told her that my friend wasn’t gay but I was.
Then last week, I went to visit my friend and her grandma was there. She straight up ignored me, I said hi and tried to be nice but she didn’t say anything and just sat there not doing anything. I didn’t think anything of it until my friend was telling me that she was talking to her aunt about how rude her grandma was and that it was because i’m gay. Never once did I think that it was because im gay and friends with her granddaughter.
I’m realizing now that I live a very privileged life. My parents didn’t really care when I told them, all of my friends are accepting, and I work in a progressive, safe place. It’s insane to me that people are just bigots and homophobic.
They always say don’t shop for groceries on an empty stomach but they should also say don’t shop for groceries on ur period. I just spent $50 on Brie cheese, crackers, and fig jam. My period made me shop like fucking french royalty
I had a one-on-one with my manager today and one of my goals this year was to be more friendly because I think that I’m a very off-putting and annoying person. My manager then proceeded to say “ it might be unbeknownst to you but you’re a very magnetic person, you are a person that people gravitate to and you probably think you’re off-putting but we’ve seen it happen every time new people come it”
Anyways, I thought my manager had telepathic powers for a few hours but when I told her that she said “it’s literally my job to be observant”
I started a diamond painting thing 2 years ago, and for some stupid reason they didn’t give me enough little baggies for all of the different colors so i decided, in my monkey brain, to glue cut up popsicle sticks to a empty metal chocolate container to make 2 fucking Frankenstein tackle boxes. Then I had to move so I was like I’ll put a grocery bag in them to fill up the space and then tape over the bag so the colors don’t mix. Hee hee hoo hoo I’m so smart 🤓 anyways I now have to sort about a fucking gazillion stupid little beads into 15 different colors
Watching Channing Tatum dance in step up just created a new ick for me

I was looking up Abbot Elementary fanfic, and I specifically wanted Gregory/Janine but I’m just seeing Barbara/Melissa. This just goes to show that people write fan fiction for what they thought the show lacked
If I start reading a fic and I really don’t like it, I’ll mark it for later so if I ever come back to it, I’ll know that I didn’t like it.
I know that midge canonically can’t sing but I love the idea of her lying about it, first out of rebellion against her parents and then because she wants to be taken seriously as a comic. I think a fic where maybe she doesn’t get kicked off of Shy’s tour and they bond over singing.

10 things I hate about you fanfic idea:
Patrick and Kat are dating in secret before the movie is set, so when Joey pays him to date her he just goes to her and is like “guess who got us a sugar daddy” 😏😌 they just pretend to start dating and just go along with everything cos they’re both drama queens.
Fleabag doesn’t have a lot of fanfic because the show is really great, but the fanfic that they do have is mostly smut because that’s all the show is missing
