I finally get to share the project I have been working on for a while: an animatic of Couch Crasher by @pittdpeaches to the song Feel Anything by Nxdia!

I've had so much fun making this since November-ish. I was planning on completing the entire song, but I really just didn't know how to make 20 seconds of portying sequences interesting without spending an unreasonable amount of time on it alifnhklsdfnskdn

alright so what we’re not gonna do is hate on others interpretations of sun and moon

idk why i’ve seen people complaining more and more often about how people in the dca fandom interpret sun and moon, but i am

listen, as a biblically accurate dca truther and a huge fan of canon compliant dca i understand how frustrating it is for your favorite character to be heavily misinterpreted, i get it. i do. it can be frustrating how little “canon” dca stuff there is. (i say “canon” because that word can be used very loosely within the context of fnaf)

but at the same time, spewing hate on others’ characterization, redesigns, or aus of the dca simply because you don’t like it? or bc it’s not canon compliant??

how incredibly childish

this is the one fandom i’ve been in where there’s been so much support and love for all kinds of art/writing/interpretations of the dca. honestly the most creative, positive, and chill fandom i’ve ever experienced, i love it.

i’m just concerned that the idea of people’s interpretations of the dca being “wrong” is going to spread and could be actually harmful if it goes too far.

i get the jokes about early interpretations of sun and moon as goofy as hell and pick me or whatever the fuck and how it skewed people’s perceptions of them. but like,, okay and?? just let them be!! i get it, it’s cringe or whatever, something something media literacy. but no one’s getting hurt!!

so for fucks sake just let people have fun, we all like jesters here man its not that serious

Here are the designs for Wukong’s marshals and generals in my Shadowpeach fanfic, Stargaze. (You can read it here.)

Marshal Ma is an albino monkey (I’m not sure what species, I haven’t really decided yet), which means she has no facial marking, unlike most of the other yaoguai monkeys. She’s the smallest of the group, and she loves to cause chaos.

Marshal Liu is based off of a Formosan Rock Macaque. She’s a quiet, no-nonsense monkey, but she cares deeply for the troop. She’s also rather good at keeping Wukong in line. She’s fairly average-sized for a yaoguai monkey, so about Wukong’s height or a little more.

General Beng is based off of a Lar Gibbon. He’s a large teddy bear. He’s the Kronk of the group. That’s the best way I can think of to describe him. He’s extremely difficult to anger, and is always playing the peacemaker whenever there are arguments.

General Ba is based off of a Tibetan Macaque. He’s the largest of the group (he’s a frickin chonk), and a gentle giant. He’s also the quietest of the group, and he takes his job very seriously. He would give his life for any of the monkeys on FFM.
