tldr: the Internet Archive/WayBack Machine is super important in term of archived content, billions of stuff are on there, and with the current event happening in the world like stated above,without this tool, it will be hard to properly document what took place. It will be easy for certain people to rewrite history. Dont let them.

Hey Everyone
I kinda need help.
I need to pay this month’s tuition fee and I dont have money to do so. Why? Well, long story short:
Early in the year my mom got covid and in helping her getting her to the hospital, I got sick too. We both ended up hospitalized, sedated into a coma and with a tube down out throat during around a month. This was around April, and while we are basically suing the hospital for not enabling the national-wide covid insurance that limits how much they can make me pay when I got hospitalized, we just had to pay the first payment of a massive millionaire hospital bill due to bureaucracy.
On top of that, my mom is kind-of-but-not-really unemployed right now, and for at least this month, so my own rather mediocre paycheck is most of the money we will have for now. But I need to pay my tuition or else I will end up getting charged with interests and shit.
But the biggest issue is that right now I am getting paid on Thursday, and my doggy needs food today. He just ate the last of his food. And I have 5 dollars on my account.

One month of uni tuition of my shitty country is around 250 dollars (and this is after my own schoolarship!), but what is more urgent to me right now is Pom's food which is around 20 dollars.

I was explaining to my friends yesterday that one of my pet peeves is that not very many people know how to use the modesty bags (wax paper bags in the women's room) and this leads to them being stocked incorrectly and also used incorrectly- resulting in potential biohazards.
I don't blame people for not knowing. The circumstance that of the four people at the table who menstruate, only one person knew what I was talking about... is what makes me mad. Because no one told them. And no one told the people who were supposed to tell them. And everyone somewhat assumed you already knew how to use them so no one reinforced the process. And the culture of shame surrounding menstruation means no one talks about it. And the people stocking the bathrooms typically don't know it- so they get stocked incorrectly. And so the cycle continues and I'm scraping the biohazard up off the bottom.
There's supposed to be a stock of them in the box. A nice, generous handful of them. 20 or so.
You're supposed to take one, put your pads or tampons in the bag.
Then take the bag and throw it in the trash can outside.
This process is meant to reduce the amount of people touching bodily fluids.
Every place that I've worked where I've had the duty of cleaning bathrooms, the people who stock it only put one in the box as a single liner. This causes that bag to become overflowing. It becomes smelly, unsanitary, and in the case of outdoor place like park shelters- attracts bugs or animals.
When I told the guys that work the opposite shift as me that this is the proper process, they said 'I thought it was just like a little trash can' which is a logical conclusion to make when everyone else before you only put a single liner in.
But I noticed that when I stock them correctly, people are more likely to use them correctly- I see less beer cans or gum wads or diapers in the receptacles.
Anyways- if you work in maintenance and see this problem, its real easy to explain that this is how its meant to be used and most people will believe you because no one told them how to do it properly.

Ok but real talk here, big, important question for everyone:
Why do you like but not reblog?
It feels like the bare minimum in fandom to reblog stuff you like. It’s the easiest way to support artists/writers and guarantee they do more of that same kind of thing.
I thought of some reasons people might not want to reblog and I’m going to debunk them:
Reblog = repost and reposts are evil!!!
Reblogs are different than reposts. As long as the original post came from the artist, the artist gets the credit for it and that’s what they want. REPOSTS are when you find a piece of art you like, save it to your computer, and later make your own post with it, and that’s not cool
Reblogging is too much effort!!
It really, really isn’t. On mobile? Press and hold the reblog button. The post has now been reblogged. On desktop? Hold the alt key and then click the reblog button. Off it goes, letting more people enjoy the beauty of the post you just enjoyed yourself!
I don’t want to tag things though
So then...don’t? Just reblog it with no tags. You want to tag it later, you can. You never want to tag things? Cool, neither do I most times!
I DO want to tag things but I feel like I’m bothering people
I guarantee you, 90% of the time, artists love tags. Even the keyboard smash tags. The ones they don’t love are the ones demanding more art/for the artist to do things in a specific way/to change the art to suit one specific viewer’s preferences.
If I reblog things a lot, it’ll annoy people!
If people are following you, it’s for your content. If it annoys them, they can unfollow you. That’s on them. If you mean it’ll annoy the ARTIST if you go in and reblog their whole art tag...wrong, false, no, definitely not, they might even make more art specifically for you if you do that. Especially if you tag with ‘I love this piece because...’ and then give a reason why you love it, that is the most encouraging thing.
Reblogging doesn’t fit my blog aesthetic.
Idk what to tell you here, you’re in control of your aesthetic. Make a side blog maybe, reblog there and leave your main ‘clean’. Or vice versa. No reblogs = a quickly dwindling supply of art that people are willing to post.
Reblogging is an important part of fandom/tumblr community in general. It encourages more people to make more content which means more things for you to do/see/read.
It’s part of the fandom ecosystem; we have content makers and we have content viewers. Without makers, we have no art. Without viewers, there’s no reason to post it online. If viewers are limited, people start reconsidering whether to bother posting their art online or just share it with their friends they know will give feedback.
Reblogs are how you contribute to the fandom. Try it.
