TMNT: Roots (might be a placeholder name for now)

I had decided to create my own iteration of the tmnt around a year ago for fun, so I’ll be posting a few of my works I have so far here and there.

The TMNT: The tmnt are a lot more directly connected to the Shredder than they realize... he’s their biological father 😱‼️ they were born human but got mutated when they were very young,

Shredder had them with the intention of making them into his superhuman weapons. I’ll go into detail about this in another post. The four of them are around 16-17 years old.

Splinter: I’ll drop his lore later,,,

April: April is part Kraang (similar to her 2012 ver,) and often times has to hide her Kraang features when they appear (ex: sometimes she gets pink splotches on her skin or her eyes get freaky-looking, etc). She’s around 17 years old.

Casey: Casey starts out as a member of the Foot Clan because his older brother (Ryan) convinced him to join. Ryan was promised a tempting paycheck from Shredder, the brothers needed to take care of their little sister (Angel) so they really didn’t question Shredder’s motives at the time. He’s around 17 years old.

It has come to the last week of the @tmntfashioncompetition, this time its against anyone ?? The theme was hairstyle/bandana so I guess hmm I just really... wanted to paint hair going from normal to fire, and it seemed people really wanted him to appear so here uh.. he is with his mohawk :girlhelp: Thank you Cyn for setting this all up, its been incredibly fun to see everyone have fun with this and it somehow just ended with everyone exploring so it was a good treat !

I couldn't not draw both versions. Recalling how young Leo was always so "EEW!" whenever he saw people expressing romantic love, But I imagine him being king of confidence as an adult.

So backstory to this is that my roommate and best friend got a beanbag the size of a bed and it was sitting in the middle of our apartment for a while. It was extremely comfortable and I would curl up to sleep in it, but because it was so big I’d sink into the center and people wouldn’t know where I was lol. It was nice though, cause The Bean was big enough to share!

It’s nice to snuggle with friends or siblings! I love how Rise wrote the brothers to be more physically affectionate

People (looking at star specifically) talked about baby krang infected donnie being raised by future leo and then it turned to all 4 and a whole story and aaaaah
