Bakugo Headcanon (My Hero Academia Season 7 and Beyond Spoilers)

This is probably more than a shower thought than anything, but since after the war, Katsuki has one of his arms injured to the point he was advised to not use that arm for his quirk unless he takes physical therapy seriously for a long time. Even then it was possible his quirk wouldn't work the same way as it used to with that arm. With that in mind, here's my headcanon. I headcanon that like Izuku, Bakugo finally uses his gosh darn legs to use his quirk to give himself a boost in the air. Uraraka and Bakugo canonically have the same designer, and she was able to get boots that give her a boost of speed in the air while her quirk is activated. So I see no reason why Bakugo can't find a way for his boots to be able to sneakily collect sweat into boot storage tanks without restricting his movements (especially after his quirk awakening). Before his quirk awakening, I understand why he didn't do that because his nitroglycerin sweat was only connected to his palms. So if he wanted such an improvement for his costume he would need to save up cannisters of his sweat to fill up hypothetical, boot, storage tanks. He would also need to think strategically about how he uses them because of it being a finite supply. It's also very gross and as a germaphobe, Katsuki would never want to do that when he could just use his freaking hands! XD After his quirk awakening though, he has no such limitations like finite, palm sweat supplies anymore, so I just feel it seems thematically fitting for him to use hypothetical, boot storage tanks now just like how earlier in the manga Izuku went from just using hands for One-For-All to using his legs to properly balance the damage he takes from the quirk. My thoughts are definitely not original since I'm sure bigger MHA fans who are smarter than me already thought this over years ago and incorporated it into fanfictions that I haven't read yet. Regardless, I'm still a person that has a right to blab to the ether, regardless of if it's an original thought or not. TLDR: Bakugo update your gosh darn boots so you don't need to use just your hands (hand) to fly and you aren't forced to use your teeth to carry people to safety! XD That's it, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong because of something in the MHA lore I wasn't privy too. Just be nice about it please, I'm just a casual fan that wanted to get a shower thought/headcanon off her chest. XD

Made Me Think of Zekina

I found this when I was searching for "After All" covers. I think both of the songs combined fit the vibe I intended for adult Zekina in my headcanons. Two idiot friends that are too stubborn/scared to open up to each other about their feelings. One tease flirts/jokes around but they don't open up about their feelings in a serious manner while the other denies that they ever had feelings other than platonic from the start, despite the evidence to the contrary. (For example, Zeke would tease about how Tina must have liked him at least a little bit back when they were 13. Tina would claim that no such crush existed and he has no proof otherwise. Zeke reminds her that he wasn't the one that kissed her when she thought the world was ending. Tina would claim the "Apoca lips" was merely a pity kiss. The world was ending and she figured might as well throw a bone to the boy that claimed was going to marry her since it was never going to happen anyway. The kiss never would have happened in the first place if they hadn't bumped into each other by accident. Zeke would retort with a chortle, "That was some pity kiss then!" Very strong denial and suppression on Tina's part in short lol.) Still after all the failed dates with other people they've had, they still always find themselves back in the same place, in each other's embrace. They're most honest with themselves in their minds when they just hug each other, no words spoken. Will the fears subside enough for them to admit they want to start something more than platonic though? Basically, the male singer fits perfectly for Zeke and the female singer for Tina except for some lyrics. The starting part is basically all Tina "You ask me if I love you And I choke on my reply I'd rather hurt you, honestly Than mislead you with a lie And who am I to judge you On what you say or do? I'm only just beginning To see the real you" Meanwhile, this part fits more of Zeke definitely. "A hesitant prize fighter Still trapped within my youth" As well as "I still remember when your kiss was so brand new"

I Spent Way Too Much Time Looking at Geography for This! Dillon Headcanon:

Okay, so I recently had the urge to pin down where Dillon lived. According to the BB wiki, the Belchers live 2 hours away from the hotel Tina and Linda stayed at for the heroine conference. Meanwhile, Dillon and Amy lived 4 hours away from the hotel. Since the hotel was based on the Courtyard by Marriot hotels, I looked into the Courtyard hotels that were about two hours away from Ocean City NJ (the spot where people generally agree Bob's Burgers would be if it were real). There were plenty to choose from, so I had trouble deciding which one to choose until I realized something Dillon said. She mentioned this in the episode, she said she accidentally said her name was Dallas when she was from Houston. Although, Texas is definitely not 4 hours away from NJ and I don't recall her having a Texan accent (it's been a while since I saw the episode though). TBF she could have moved at a young age and never developed the accent. That begs the question of why she even brought up that she's from Texas if she doesn't live in Texas anymore? So I decided to look into it and see if I could find any Houston places near NJ. I found one in Delaware and one in Pennslyvania. Better yet, I found out there's a Dallas in PA too. The time estimates aren't perfect but the Courtyard hotel in Aberdeen MD is a little over 2 hours away from Ocean City NJ while it's 4 hours and 32 minutes away from Houston PA. As I said, it's not perfect but it's pretty darn close to what little I had to go off of. Dillon being from Houston PA could also explain why despite looking extremely cool, she's actually very awkward. She's compensating for being from a borough with a population only slightly above 1k with the only notable thing about it is that Keanu Reaves did a movie there once in 1988. Am I looking too much into this? Absolutely! On the plus side, I can now say that Tina lives 6 to 7 hours away from Dillon in this headcanon. It's bittersweet knowledge for this headcanon but knowledge nonetheless.

@mambocat No,no! It has nothing to do with you. I was referring to that my comments don’t always get replied to. Mostly because I don’t always bring up anything worth adding onto for various reasons or I just reblogged at a bad time and I get missed accidentally.

You did nothing wrong, I just mostly said that out of pessimism. I’m a little histrionic (that’s a word you don’t read every day).

Anyway, to get back on topic. Mario Odyssey looks nice but reminiscent of Sonic Adventure and only makes it worse when Mario rolls like Sonic now. Here’s to hoping Project 2017 is awesome.

So I need to just take a moment to poop on everyone’s party…I just watched the trailer for “Super Mario Odyssey,” and while it does indeed look very interesting, I can’t help but feel salty over the double standard being utilized here.

So the trailer starts with what appears to be New York or some other large REAL WORLD city, with actual humans - as in realistic ones - walking around minding their own business, and then SUDDENLY here comes Mario with his signature whoo hoo to turn everything into fodder for his cartoon physics.

Now that in and of itself is not a bad thing, no problem with the premise itself. My issue is…fairly simple to understand and may even come off as petty but I’ll risk it regardless.

If everyone is excited about Mario being in the real world…

WHY IN GOD’S NAME WAS IT CONSIDERED A HORRIBLE IDEA FOR SONIC AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY?!

As soon as Mario does it, all that talk about “oh Sonic is a cartoon hedgehog and he doesn’t belong in a realistic universe” goes out the window. You can’t praise Mario for doing it and then say Sonic doesn’t belong when they’re both video game characters who are clearly “out of place” in the world they’re in.

The only difference I can foresee happening here is that Mario won’t have much of a “story” as usual despite the name “odyssey” and Mario of course won’t talk.

And if that does turn out to be the key difference, then Sonic being in the real world was never the problem as so many people claim. The issue was the story itself. How dare someone take a silent protagonist and try to give him a personality?

SEGA tried everything to “backpedal” from the hyper realistic art style, making the humans more cartoony as opposed to actually looking like real life humans. But it didn’t matter, Sonic was still in the “real” world and thus it was bad.

Only when humans (sans Eggman) were cut out altogether were so-called fans happy with the world Sonic lived in again. Where all the humans? Who cares, Sonic shouldn’t be with humans anyway.

But apparently this is okay, because it’s Mario instead of Sonic. Real humans? Yeah that’s okay! It’s about time Mario ventured past the Mushroom Kingdom a little bit!

I call BS, hard.

Since Mario did what he did, then I don’t wanna hear one godforsaken complaint from ANYONE if Project 2017 decides to go back to using human background characters.

I’ve gotten into debates with gamer friends of mine who say that Sonic in the real world (Earth) actively angers them. I should ask them how they feel about Mario and see if they expose their own hypocrisy.

I’m sorry if this angers anyone who thinks I’m complaining too early, but again, it’s not what Mario did that bothers me, it’s that people will inevitably complain if/when Sonic decides to do the EXACT SAME THING while Mario gets praise for it.

That’s why I say I don’t wanna see anyone get angry with Sonic in the real world…but we all know they will. Because it’s Sonic.

Poor guy, he’s doomed to be hated for all of eternity.

Last Bob Burger's episode of the year and it was so sweet! Tina Fey did great as the awkward, substitute music teacher that had no music experience whatsoever. I hope this substitute music teacher gets paid better in the future. I doubt I'll see more of her but I'll keep hoping until the day comes. Gene was awesome for saving the show last minute. I don't know how Tina found the library by herself but who cares because she is such a good sister! Waaaa so sweet! I'm sure Linda would have agreed sooner if it wasn't for the guilt she felt over leaving a stressed-out Thundergirl leader hanging. Louise's poem was so cute too, glad she did the serious one in the end. Poor Bob ran to the point of bleeding. End credits song was so pretty too. Overall, a good way to end the episodes for this year and I look forward to the next episode on January 8th.
