Pros: FLYING He’s shirtless 90% of the time Have I mentioned he looks like an Adonis I get to laugh at all the things he doesn’t understand But really have I mentioned his abs Actually capable of putting up with my sass Isn’t freaked out by my mom calling him “Satan”
Cons: My mom calls him “Satan” on a regular basis and sometimes follows us around with rotten eggs I have no idea how old he really is and I’m not certain I want to know It turns out he really can’t farm to save his life He talks about ancient historical events like they happened yesterday Seriously how old is he this is getting worrying

Y'know when you hear someone talk about their “guilty pleasure” and how it’s always something pretty benign? Like, “My guilty pleasure is reading erotica,” or “I love to watch sappy rom-coms; it’s my guilty pleasure,” or “Netflix is such a guilty pleasure–I binge-watched that entire show last night!”
Can we stop?
There shouldn’t be something inherently guilt-worthy about reading romance novels, erotica, young adult, or any other genre. Just like there shouldn’t be an guilt about preferring one type of music, or movie, or sport, or whatever, over another.
You don’t need to feel guilty about it!
Can we, instead, use the term “guilty pleasure” for actual things we shouldn’t be doing? Like…when I eat dairy or gluten… That is 110% a guilty pleasure. I shouldn’t do it. I know I shouldn’t do it. I’m going to regret it later, but right now I’m going to enjoy the heck out of this cheesecake.
I’m tired of society telling me I should be ashamed of enjoying romance and sex and “girly” things. (Because it always seems to be those types of things that are our “guilty pleasures”) So… no, it’s not a guilty pleasure that I watch Pride & Prejudice four or five times a year, or that I devoured an entire polyam erotica series, or that I like to paint my nails, or that I listen (and sing along) to Disney soundtracks. Those are just things I like to do. There’s nothing wrong with any of them.
“What will you do first after we get back to the real world ?
Save waifu and get drunk. “
That’s my boys.

“Matthew has incarnated Darcy as that complicated layered person who isn’t easy in his skin and who isn’t easy to love, yet who is a good person with a sense of honor and integrity. [Macfayden] was not afraid to be disliked by an audience at the beginning of the story and we have to dislike him because we are seeing him through Lizzie’s eyes, and we grow to love him as Lizzie does.” - Joe Wright
“You need to see that kind of rugged beauty in Darcy, knowing that here was a man who walks across fields, climbs trees, and very much manages his own estate. With Matthew, you can see that etched across his face, yet he’s also got this extraordinary vulnerability. On the page, Darcy reads as being very cold, but Mathew is so vulnerable through his big manliness that he gives Darcy extra qualities.” - Keira Knightley
