The Gentle Snowfall: Xīngxuě
Hello, I am Heba Al-Anqar, 21 years old, a university student. My university was suspended due to the war. I am writing about my family: my father Bakr (54 years old), my mother Alaa (46 years old), and my sisters Aya (18 years old), Amal (15 years old), Muhammad (13 years old), and Maryam (8 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to suffer in northern Gaza.
My father suffers from heart problems. He had open-heart surgery when he was 36 years old. He also suffers from cartilage problems. He had his pelvic joint replaced about two years ago, in addition to other health problems. He cannot work due to his health condition.
My mother also suffers from asthma and shortness of breath, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining treatment due to the conditions and the war.
This is our house, which was destroyed by war
We have become homeless in places of refuge, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining medicine, food, and daily expenses
I created this account to request your help in this difficult ordeal by donating to meet the necessary needs, as we were relying on social assistance before the war.
My goal is to help my family live in safety and provide the necessary necessities for living, as there is a high cost of living and difficulty in obtaining necessities. We ask for your help in leaving the Gaza Strip to save my family’s life. The cost of travel is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, in addition to travel and accommodation expenses of $500 per month.
Together, we can support Heba and her family through this ordeal. Your donation, no matter how big, can make a difference in my family's life to get life and start a new life
If you are looking to support Heba and her family, please consider providing assistance directly or through relevant charitable organizations.
Y/N: *yawns*
Lumine: Yeah, being that pretty must be tiring.
Y/N: Then you must be exhuasted.
Childe: Will you two shut up? Some of us are lonely.
The soft sand beneath your feet. The gentle waves rolling off the stones of the land. The faint sound of eagles soaring in the sky, unbound by the land. The scent of calm- as your friend would say- drifting with the breeze.
This was peace.
But if only the one you cherished most was here to enjoy this moment with you. A conversation you had only hours ago.
“Can’t you stay a while longer? It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other…”
“You know I cannot.” He looked towards the sea. “Besides, I am indebted to Beidou for taking me in, even as a fugitive.”
“But still…”
You sighed. “Fine. Just… come back quickly, okay? I don’t know what I’d do if you didn’t come back soon.”
He tilted his head, “What you did before you met me?”
You shook your head, a smile creeping onto your face.
You sighed, drawing your knees up to your chest. If only he knew of how you waited for him. If only he knew how much you thought of him.
If only he knew how much you loved him.
But for now, you would have to settle for waiting.

This is somewhat of a sequel to Waiting, but it doesn't have to be read first.
The familiar chatter of Liyue Harbour. The midday sun relentlessly shining down on the people. The boats sailing to and from the port.
Yet the one you were looking for was not there.
Pacing the wooden docks, your worries slowly grew.
He said he would be here last week… You thought to yourself. What is something bad happened along the way?! Maybe they got caught up in a storm… or maybe some bad pirates attacked them?
You jumped as you felt a tap on your shoulder. You quickly spun around hoping that it was him… but it was just someone asking if you were okay. The look of disappointment must have been evident on your face as they chuckled,
“Waiting for someone?”
“Oh, s-sorry. Yes, I am.”
“Well, I hope they come soon. I’ll see you around!”
“Y-yes, you too.”
They waved goodbye to you. You sighed, resuming your lookout for The Crux.

It had been quite a few hours since you left the port, and you were almost ready to go home. After you had turned in your commissions, you decided to go to the small mountain east of Liyue Harbour for a while.
You could see the faint moon beginning to rise from where you sat, past sunset, but not quite night just yet. The wind blew through your hair, and the grass rustled beneath you. You leaned your back onto the ground and closed your eyes. You lay there for a few minutes until worries began to creep into your mind.
Where is he? You thought anxiously. Maybe… he’s just avoiding me. Maybe he just doesn’t want to see me. Yeah, that’s probably it. I should go home now, it’s getting late.
You brought your head up, only for it to collide into something hard. You winced at the sudden pain. Ow, You thought, bringing your hands up to your head. Just what were they doing?
The other person laughed, “Well, I didn’t expect that.”
Wait.
That voice…
Kazuha!?
“Wha…”, You gasped, “Kazuha!”
“Yeah, I’m back- hey! What are yo-?!”
His words got abruptly cut off you tackling him into a hug.
“I missed you! Where have you been!” You spilled out suddenly.
He chuckled and hugged you back, “Sorry, there was bad weather, so we couldn’t head out to sea. I’m sorry if I made you worry.”
You sighed, “It’s fine. Just don’t do that again. You promised you would come back soon, remember?”
“Well, I didn’t exactly promise, did I?”
You merely hummed, your hold on him tighter than before. It was just a slip of the tongue, but…
“I love you, Kazuha.”
His mouth was open, his gave fixed on you with wide eyes. Then his face relaxed and he brought you closer to him. He smiled gently, and whispered,
“I love you too.”
And there, you found love in each other's arms, underneath the moonlight.
