Hello my friend, my name is Jaafar from North Gaza, I am 24 years old, and finally after waiting for a whole year of killing, displacement, hunger, massacres and genocide against us, the time for a ceasefire has come, thank God we are still alive after all the exhaustion, and during the next week we will return to our homes in North Gaza, which was completely destroyed, unfortunately our area was completely and brutally destroyed and we have nothing left, neither a home, nor property, nor furniture, nor clothes, nor any other clothes, I know that returning to the north will be very painful and difficult due to the lack of the necessities of life, and we will start building our lives from scratch, but we are happy for the war to end.

Stop, please don't skip ✋

A small donation can make a big difference 🍉

I am Karam from Gaza, I am 20 years old. I am standing before you, I need your help to save the lives of me and my family from the war of genocide‼️

We are a family of five people. Our house was destroyed and I am homeless, and now we need your help to reach our goal as quickly as possible.

Stop, Please Don't Skip ✋

Stop, Please Don't Skip ✋

We have been displaced several times due to the destruction of our house, and now I live in a very small tent that is not suitable for living in due to the extreme heat and the spread of insects and diseases 💔

It is difficult for me to find words to describe what we face every day in Gaza: no food, no medicine, no clean drinking water, oppression, helplessness and psychological pressure.

Donate and share, $1 makes the difference in saving the life of me and my family 🍉🍉

As someone who writes positive news for a living, here are my thoughts and tips for anyone who wants to get more good news in their life to balance out the bad:

Charities are your #1 source of good news. Read their impact reports, follow them on social media, sign up for their newsletters. I don't mean campaign groups - I mean charities that directly support people and communities.

Look for news on topics you care about the most. Generic "positive news" feeds cover too broad a scope to actually interest us, and positive news generally doesn't engage us as much as negative. So pick the topics nearest and dearest to your heart. maybe something you've been through, a health condition you or a loved one has, something that touches you deeply. And look for positive news about that specifically. Find an organisation that focuses on it and follows them for updates.

Think local. What are charities and community groups doing in your suburb, town, neighbourhood? If it's closer to home, it'll have a more significant impact on your wellbeing to read the positive news. It's easy to feel like the whole world is rotten, but you might find that there are little bubbles of goodness closer to you than you realise.

An Alaska Native Group Decided To Make A Video Game. It’s Like Nothing You’ve Ever Played Before.

An Alaska Native group decided to make a video game. It’s like nothing you’ve ever played before.

One of the most groundbreaking, critically acclaimed, and delightful video games of 2014 began in a highly unlikely place — Anchorage, Alaska.

It’s called “Never Alone” (or “Kisima Ingitchuna”). And it wasn’t developed by Nintendo, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, or any of the other big game studios.

It was the brainchild of the Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) — a nonprofit community support organization for Alaska Natives and their families.

And while many Alaska Native communities are struggling to hold on to their identities in the 21st century, the council saw “Never Alone” as both a way of becoming more financially self-sufficient and a necessary new method of transferring cultural knowledge from one generation to the next.

a digital drawing of Midoriya Izuku and Todoroki Shouto. Shouto has pulled himself up from lying on the ground to kiss Izuku and is holding on to the hood of his hoodie, and there are cracks on his face similar to Hikage's. Izuku is kneeling beside Shouto and cradling his head with one hand, his eyes are wide, and tears are running down his face. Behind them is a night sky/galaxy background, and they're illuminated by the red and blue lights of an ambulance siren. a bright blue spark of light passes between their lips, representing Shouto passing One for All to Izuku.

HAPPY TODOIZU DAY AND DESTINY DELAYED ANNIVERSARY, TODODEKU NATION!!

I can’t believe it’s already been two years since I published it!! Time sure flies. It’s still my favorite fic that I’ve published to date! If you haven’t yet, you can read it here—it’s a canon divergent future fic, featuring Shouto with One for All and Quirkless vigilante Izuku! My fiancé has also described it as peak romance, but I think that might just be Tddk in general XD

I’m also really happy with how this piece turned out! I played around a bit with the shading and I think it looks really good, so I might do more of that in the future 👀

Help Us For The Sake Of My Elderly Parents. 💔🥺

Verified by @90-ghost @nabulsi

I live with my elderly parents under extremely difficult circumstances due to the war. We have been displaced to the south and are living in a cramped tent. My parents need food as we are living in famine and high cost of living, and they also need medical care and medications. I am unable to provide anything due to the current situation.

Despite my efforts, I have not been able to gather enough donations to meet our basic needs. Your donations can help me provide food and medicine for my parents. Even small donations can make a significant difference in our lives.
