A Plea for Help from Gaza: A Family Seeking Safety
Hello, I am reem shehab, married to fahed sshehab, and we have five wonderful children.
We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair.
We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.
I lost our only source of livelihood when the war destroyed my husband's gym, which he built with dedication and hard work. My children Sahar, Dana, Mona, Malak and Yahya have been deprived of education after their schools were destroyed, severely threatening their future. , which increased the state of hopelessness and hopelessness in which we live.
My children live in constant anxiety because of the bombing and war going on in our area. My husband lost his source of income, leaving us unable to provide for our family's needs and safety. The war destroyed our home, forcing us to flee repeatedly and making us homeless.
We are now facing great difficulty in providing a safe place to live, clean clothes, and food for our children. In addition, our children have contracted diseases such as measles, and our daughter Dana was diagnosed with viral hepatitis.
Our only hope now is to escape this ongoing nightmare and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs.
We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.
We are in desperate need of your support. Any donation, no matter how small, can help save our lives. Thank you for your attention and support during these harsh times.

just some transmasc toga propaganda under the cut if anybody's curious about my thought process. if you don't agree please don't like.. be mean lol. headcanons are for fun after all. as a warning, i use he/him for toga under the cut because im writing this under the impression she's a trans boy
toga internalizes the idea of being Normal and especially the idea of being a normal Girl a lot. of course this is due to his upbringing and being forced to mask his urges for blood, but i think it's interesting to also think of toga also suppressing the idea that he's actually a guy
and the idea of him acting really hyperfeminine and insisting that he's a normal girl as a last-ditch effort to pretend that the transness isn't there is really interesting to me (obviously not to say women or trans dudes just can't be feminine or like feminine things!! but a lot of trans dudes tend to have phases where they act really feminine and insist that they're a woman before accepting their identity and coming out)
toga tends to have, for lack of a better term, a surface level understanding of what girls like. he feels like he Has to like cute things and romance and stuff to feel like a Normal Girl. he tends to be very jealous of ochako and what she has and ochako is normally portrayed as pretty feminine, and of course everything else comes into play obviously, their upbringings and such, but he also tends to fixate on how ochako is a Girl. like he supposedly is. he fixates on how they're both girls and how they should like romance and cute things because They're Both Girls. Right? And it makes me think. Huh. Are you projecting maybe.
I have some more thoughts but these are the huge ones, but I also have thoughts about how he's so pained about being unable to become the league and twice in particular past the obvious reasons. Yeah. I just wanted to put this out into the world because I've been getting really into trans boy toga lately.
Genocide flattens every discussion. There are no new conversations to be had about the destruction, death and cruelty. After more than a year, there is nothing left to be said about various media houses, corporations and international bodies of law aiding and abetting all that has been happening in Gaza, either. It is the banality of evil, it is colonialism. However even in this atrociously banal circumstance, I do think what still is a continued point of hope for Gazans and what still pushes so many of them to reach out to the world, is the support people around the globe have shown and still continue to show. Which is why I am here on behalf of the Shehab family ( @fahedshehab-new ) and requestingΒ you to help them survive through this winter. This won't take much of your time so please read:Β
Fahed is currently supporting 13 family members in total- his own family and that of his sisterβs.
He has to look after 8 children now, with the youngest being his son Yayha who is barely having anything to eat because the price of baby milkΒ is exorbitantly high in Gaza.Β
The genocide has taken a toll on Fahedβs daughters. Sahar and Dana spent a whole year under the threat of bombs and right now instead of getting to be teenagers, they ask their father if they will survive. They have even said they don't want to live if they lose someone.Β
The family right now immediately needs clothes to keep them warm throughout winter. Fahedβs family is from the north and has been displaced several times before they came south. Displacement is dangerous and a silent killer because often essential items are lost and cannot be replaced in time.Β
Please consider that the weather has already turned colder around the world and that which is only mildly uncomfortable to us, presents a dire situation for Gazans. The families don't have a shelter and there is no way for tents to adequately protect from cold winds and rain. So right now the immediate need is for warm clothes and it can cost upto $400 per person. With THIRTEEN PEOPLE to take care of Fahed immediately needs to raise at least 5k to buy the required apparels. So please boost and donate.Β

Please remember that every donation, even if it is 5 dollars, is a ray of hope for the families who have lost everything.

I am Ahmed Hammad, 26 years old π
married, and I have a child that I had two months ago.
I have lost many members of my family, including my father, brother, and sister, as a result of the war on my country, Gaza.
I used to work as a cleaner at Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital, where I was injured by the bombing two weeks ago.
I can't support my family and my little child is malnourished.
I now live with my wife, mother, and son in an unlivable tent.
I can't work, I can't provide treatment for my sick mother, and I fear for my child's future. I want him to live a normal life.
I am unable to protect my child and my mother. I hope that you will help us, save us, and save my child from this war. Please help us. We cannot escape this tragedy.
After I got hurt, I can't work to provide the simplest things like food and healthy water, everything here is expensive, other than that, my baby needs care greatly, he needs formula (because he does not breastfeed from his mother naturally due to health problems in his mother)
Every day, my baby needs formula
Needs diapers
Needs winter clothes
It also needs a place to live in to settle in that is livable and has no diseases or insects
Thank youβ€οΈ
I hope you donate to us
Everyone who donates $20 will save my child and save us all. I hope you will help us.
Donate even if it is a little
reminder that visibly religious people belong at pride. that person wearing a hijab is not a threat to you. that person wearing tzitzit and a kippah is not a threat to you. someone simply wearing an item that is culturally or religiously important to them is not a threat to you. however, your aggression upon seeing a religious person at pride is a threat to them.
