Tony looked forward to seeing the little spider again. He's so much more interesting than any of the other 'heroes' he fought. And he'd been able to put up a decent fight. No other hero he had fought had been bale to put up as much resistance their first time. But young Parker had. He'd even manage to land a few decent hits on Tony. It may have been their first fight together but Tony anticipated many more. The spider definitely had potential. Maybe enough that he'd be worth Tony putting some effort into turning to his side. the last defiant act of accepting your faith, maintaining eye contact, and daring them to do it versus trying to fight your destiny, looking away, and apologising for not being able to stay.

the millisecond of disappointment when you realise you'll survive versus the millisecond of utter misery when you realise you won't.

tony got up both times, and life went on.
