Ibimm PV would indeed think batman is the role model of the century. Don’t question them.

(They’d also be jealous that W&G Hollow has a PK who didn’t get mortal beamed though, but they wouldn’t mention it)

Ibimm Hornet would probably get depressed at W&G Hollow and PV both, for a multitude of reasons. PV would probably be the big reason

White Lady would have a complete crisis because there’s only so much denial of emotions one can have

Not the least of which because of finding out what W&G WL did (actually in large part because of finding that out)

Ibimm BV would probably think all of the siblings in w&g were Neat. Their BV got to have more plot. And a big nail. And a fun version of Ghost. They and Witch would also see W&G PV having good posture and wonder why theirs won’t

They’d all like baby Ghost let’s be real

Ibimm Ghost would find the stories about w&g Grimm very entertaining

I feel like the PKs would just. Avoid each other. Not make eye contact. Unless one of those PK’s happens to be a baby at the time and then @ashyronfire would have to decide how W&G PK feels about watching baby wyrm play minecraft in a sandbox

Godseeker would just be there to make everything awkward because she still technically lives with the ibimm Pale Family

The Hollow Knight: What was the saddest part of the game for you? Which ending is the most sad to you?

All of it

But seriously, so many moments. I’ll throw the Nosk Den out as one, alongside the Abyss. A lot of the settings give feels, like the empty basin. The White Palace’s everything always makes me feel Emotions. A lot of the ghosts make me sad. MARMU. Agh. 

Which ending isn’t sad? That said, I am going to go with Sealed Siblings as the worst feeling ending. It feels like the one that has the most damage caused and the least hope. Dream No More is a ‘good’ ending, though, but it gives many sad feelings (just of a different nature than the long scream of SS/THK ending)

Why you do this

I have so many ships, because I’m the type of person to read what looks like a crackship and if it’s written with crunch then now I’m shipping it (hi grimmnet). It doesn’t take much and I don’t tend to have notps, my personality is a continuous shrug (me out here sometimes reading pale nightmare and causing you unknowing psychic indigestion) 

Grollow was my first HK ship and I’d probably call it my favorite. I also really like Pale King/White Lady. Some of the more cursed ships I favor are Pale King/Radiance (or PK/Radi/WL) and Radiance/The Hollow Knight, exceptionally messy and toxic. There you go, Ashe, get me on main saying it all. 

All of yours are the answer XD (I mean it). From Eyes to W&G/Red Sky to Butterfly, sorry not sorry. Other favorites are Soul of God, Form of Moth by @basilbellona, which has been my favorite HK fic since April 2022, and In Defiance of Time (and associated oneshots) by @ganondorf--apologist. 

Now for a list of absolutely random things I’ve got in my bookmarks, which are excluding the multiple HK fics I have open but am still reading. I’m going to make too long a post just because I always want fics to get more love. Nightmare King Grimm: Which boss battle was the most intense for you? The most satisfying to defeat?

What if I said Nightmare King Grimm

Each one I came across the first time I played faskfsdaf. I’m going to go with Absolute Radiance just because I remember the noises I was making on stream when I accidentally beat her in P5 the first time. But in terms of my favorite boss fight/the one I’m most satisfied about my skills in, I’ll go with the cliche of the NKG fight XD My one skill in this game is being able to absolutely bully the man and kill him hitless before the best part of his song plays. I put all my irl XP points into getting good at him. Other favorite fights are Sisters of Battle, and probably Pure Vessel even though they are gatekeeping me so hard in my all bindings P4 run and so I cry.

as soon as i saw Hollow Knight in your bio i was so wishing my brother had a tumblr. he has been talking about Silk Song for so long, he loves Hollow Knight, he draws the characters, and i think he has plushies. they definitely live in his head rent free, too!! thanks for making me smile!!

Aww. Your brother has good taste, it's such a fun game and the art style means the characters are also a lot of fun to draw so I relate to his pasttime- and I've got a few HK plushies myself, I almost wonder if we've got some of the same ones. We've got to collect something while waiting for the elusive Silksong lol.

It was really neat to hear from one of my favorite fanfic authors, and I just saw the news yesterday about Cataclysm while rereading one on ao3. I'm hoping to get the chance for a free day to sit down and read the novel soon, but wanted to say right now congratulations on the recent publication!!

It grew harder and harder to hope the little ghost of Hallownest was any emptier than their birth-cursed kin had been. So how was she meant to hope it could supplant the vessel?

Characters: Hornet centric, the Knight, and an ensemble

This starts by following along canon, before diverging into AU territory. Mostly inspired by one of Hornet’s lines in-game and the imagery of her going tink tink off the Radiance’s head

It likely will become a series with a few Hornet oneshots as companion pieces (those planned are one of her and the White Lady, her as a child in the White Palace pre-angst, and one post-epilogue of Transcend.
