A Proper Introduction

This has been up for a while, so allow me to actually shorten this a bit now XD-

Hi! If you don't know me, please just address me as Ducky! Some of the things you'll quickly find out if you stick around on my little piece of the internet (I call it the duck pond-) is that I cosplay, do art (I went to college for animation, but I do tend to draw very slowly at times, lol-) and write. I also stream every Friday, or at least try to. I do have things that do get in the way of my regular posting schedules, so I do apologize if I go weeks on end without streaming or posting gameplay-

For the most part, I do tend to do a lot of art for One Piece. HOWEVER, there are certain fandoms that I will occasionally make art for... unless I'm just posting vent art of some kind. Which is rare, but I do every now and then. (Also, you will catch me making and posting art of my oc x cc shippings because...why not? FREE WILL EXISTS FOR A REASON, SHUSH-) Uhhh...other things to know for fun because why not? :D -I go by she/her -I'm 22, but VERY awkward with talking to everyone -I'm a Gemini! -INFJ with a 9w1 enneagram :3 -I am ALWAYS looking for peeps to do art/cosplay collabs with! So don't be afraid to reach out at anytime to ask to do one! ^v^ -The anxiety levels are over 9,000 (Hence the reason it might feel like I'm ignoring you or most people in general. I just have a hard time with talking to people, but I'm trying to work on it!) -HUGE card and coin collector. I mostly collect One Piece cards, but...have you seen Bisai's art for the different sets? Their art is so pretty!! >w< So, I actually collect to appreciate the art, lol (And am currently looking to try and find someone that could help me learn how to play the game-) -Favorite voice actor is Ian Sinclair. (He does a lot of cool roles :3) -Top five One Piece Characters (In no real order): Thatch, Corazon, Heat, Killer, and Fukaboshi (The rest of Whitebeard's crew is right behind them, lol-) -Oddly enough, I've come to realize that most of my favorite characters over all of the anime and games I'm in are ENFJs, and I don't know how it keeps happening XD Uhhhh...Oh, right! Things to know about my ocs: -Regarding any of my ocs, you are ABSOLUTELY allowed to make fan art for them! I just ask that you tag me in it so that I can reblog it (You better believe I'm going to treat my page like a fridge, AND IT'S BIG ENOUGH TO DISPLAY ALL OF IT!) -All of my current ocs that have completed wikis are posted up on my Wattpad account, so you can go view all of the information on them there. But please do be warned, when I typed their info up in their original documents, a lot of them stretched to about 42 pages? Something like that? So do be warned that you'll be reading for a long while, lol. -My current oc x cc pairings are for One piece only atm. (I'm currently working out a Mouthwashing oc because that game has me in such a bad chokehold currently, it's not even funny XD) Those pairings are: Thatch and Bernice, Heat and Lee, and Rakuyo and Pandora (Tonta is also there, but he's Pandora's son, so...yeah-) -My ask box can be for any of my ocs, or even drawing suggestions. Apparently the fandom has a bad rep? Dunno how, I guess I just haven't dipped my toes into the fandom that far yet-) -Obey Me! That's not my Neighbor -The Arcana: Visual Novel -Fnaf: Security Breach -Naruto -My Hero Academia (Again, another fandom that has a bad rep, but I personally just don't mingle with others. AND BEFORE YOU ASK, no, I don't really like a lot of the popular characters. Shoji is actually my favorite out of the whole fandom (What? I like a lot of the roles that Ian Sinclair voices, ok!) -Fire Force (ANOTHER UNDERRATED FANDOM!!) -Mouthwashing (HAVE YOU SEEN THE CHARACTER DESIGN LORE FOR THIS GAME?! And with you peeps knowing me, I'm a HUIGE sucker when it comes to intricate details for character designing!! (I think my oc wikis and their 50 paged documents speak for themselves on that, lol-)) Please be patient, I'm currently working on a chapter directory for Appraise Love since the chapters are really spread out in comparison to a lot of my projects- (Updated as of 2/27/25)

A Pawsible Problem- A Whitebeard Pirates Fan Story (A small excerpt from a Patreon Exclusive story)

Is this probably evil to post only a tidbit of this story here? Yes, yes it is. Do I have good reason for this?...Yes, actually. Long story short, I'm currently looking to find a way to leave my job and have a full time sustainable gig from home. My main goal/ my dream goal is to finish the children/tween chapter book I am working on so I can make the art for it. But, as to be expected, that's easier said than done when you're trying to balance a job still, as well as art and animation. Sooo, I'll be doing this to gain people's attention in order to get more people to support my Patreon. Don't worry, my art isn't stopping, but until I can find a way to leave my job and make more time to actually be able to pump out both my art and writing 24/7, this is the only way I know I can get peeps to head over and support it. Ah, but don't worry! if you aren't able to support my Patreon, then please do wait. It may take some time, but with the progression of this story, I will be uploading a full version of it to Itch.io as a downloadable version, it'll probably be something you have to pay for, but maybe like a dollar or so at most. (Yes, I want to be able to write and draw for a living, but I don't want to bankrupt people doing such, lol.) Anyways, the full version of this is going upon my Patreon, for now, here's just a small excerpt from Chapter 0: Please note: this is a randomly selected paragraph of the two that are a part of the chapter. While the chapter itself is not very long, it's only the precursor to the main book. ___________________ In a clearing where the trees parted had been a winding road that stretched on forever. The dim lights of the vehicle stood as a small flicker of a flame on the night drive in comparison to the light show that was taking place in the sky above. Between the low hum of the engine and the distant sound of the thunder, it became vacantly clear that the chirp of crickets had been snuffed out before their symphony could begin. Within the small cramped confines of the car that continued its trek down the road were two passengers. A man’s hunched form was over the wheel of the vehicle while his eyes squinted on the paved road ahead. The other passenger in the crosswise seat had been curled up. Their rhythmic breathing gave away the peaceful state of slumber that had befallen them. They couldn’t be blamed for it, the need for wanting sleep. Not many could find the beauty in nature. Well, I guess that wasn’t the case for them. The road ahead might’ve stretched on forever, but at the end of the journey would be their new home. Change was always a big deal. The thousands of ways people handled it came in all various sizes.

Ok, soooo, I'm gonna have to break this down into a multitude of parts, lol, so please bear with me here. Basically, the next few parts that I am going to slightly be spam posting out are all concept designs of members of Lee's old crew, the Meadow pirates. However, because the descriptions of each member is too long, I have to break their info up into individual posts. (I tried making a master post on them, I'm sorry in advanced ;-;) Sooo, getting right into things, we'll start with Willow (or Kadie as her concept image lists). So, Willow was never really an official member of the Meadow Pirates (the name of Lee's original crew). A lot of the reason for this was because Lee would not accept her as a member of the crew. (Aka, she really wanted to, but Noko had told her it was for the best to find someone on another island to take care of Willow instead in order to assure her safety.) While she did sail with them for a few months prior to what happened to them, she eventually was left with an elderly woman who was glad to have a kid to treat as her own grandchild. A lot of the reason Willow was on her own was due to relations her home island people had with Marines. For some reason, the Marines were very crooked and usually taxed the residents of the island amounts of money. And if they couldn't pay, they were usually the first to be pushed out to protect the marines from pirates instead of the other way around. Willows parents actually tried to start a rebellion to try and run the Marines off, but unfortunately both were killed in the process. And due to Willow being their daughter, most of the island people were afraid to take her in/ couldn't afford it, leaving her neglected by both the Marines and civilians. Lee's crew decided that they would take her to at least give her a temporary home until they could find her a proper place to live. At the time of being apart of Lee's crew, Willow was eight.

Ok, This is- again, hopefully- part six. There is only one more part after this, and then I'm done, I swear! I know that I haven’t really made mention of him in everyone else's info so far, but up next is Dolion. Dolion is actually a very peculiar member of the crew. Being the swordsman, he actually is the only member of the crew with a higher position that physically went searching Lee’s crew out. I’ve also slacked on mentioning this, but a lot of the names on Lee’s crew have meanings. (I think the biggest thing people tend to overlook with Lee’s crew info is the fact that the crew’s name is the actual translation of Lee’s name. In other words, Lee’s name translates to ‘meadow’, hence the name ‘the Meadow Pirates’.) For Dolion, his name is a Greek translation of ‘liar’ or ‘to lie’. Because of his outfit, Dolion gave the crew a scare the first time they met. Because they met during a more foggy season, Kimchi, Lee, Ahiru, and Shiro all thought that he was the Grim Reaper. The poor things were scared straight for a good hour. His reasoning for why he demanded to join is complicated, actually. Wonton and Noko were both suspicious of him at first and believed that he had very similar goals of the World Government. They believed that he only wanted to travel with Lee until he could get intel about the One Piece and then he’d be splitting. However, he told them that his reasoning for joining was simply because he saw potential with the crew and wanted to give them proper backup since they were lacking any real muscle. His real reasoning was for two things. Firstly, he saw a lot of his younger self in Lee. Someone that was so quiet and wanted to do good for the world, yet was so quick to be stepped on. And secondly, because she reminded him a lot of his older sister as well in the way she could influence people to completely diffuse their quarrels. Because of things in his own life that led to him losing his sister, he saw joining Lee’s crew as a way to repay his sister’s kindness back. At the time of joining her crew, Dolian was 52.

I know that I have uploaded this to YouTube already, but let me tell you. When I say this is by far the greatest thing that I have made so far this year...I mean that with every fiber in my being XD I think the thing that sells it for me is the fact that on every platform that I have uploaded this to, Luffy's closeup is the Thumbnail image for it, and I am living for it, lol! I'll probably be trying to post every other day or once a week. Something like that. As of currently, I am trying to figure out a good schedule for streaming as well as posting my art, so yeah. It might be inconsistent upload times for the time being, lol.

My last thought for tonight (and maybe until the end of the weekend when I start posting my new fanfic for here only-):

Have you ever stopped to think about how the people on the grand line fish? Like, legitimately. Obviously they have to fish in order to survive (and whatever they believe help the people that have allergies to seafood-) but it's funny to stop and think about.

Obviously they can't fly fish since everything is a part of the ocean (unless they're at a lake or pond while visiting an island). And they can't really use worms or power bait/etc., so they'd have to either use massive lures or raw meat.

And with a lot of the aquatic animals there are, you can't really use small fish as bait (for the du-gongs (hopefully I spelt this right from memory) and other animals in that category on the grand line). Even at that, sea kings probably wouldn't bite. So you'd have to use some kind of raw meat and try and fish. It's also funny to think about as well that you'd have to have both an abundance of fishing line to reach the depth that seakings and other fish would be at, as well as use as cannon ball as a weight in order to get down that far.

I guess it's not really THAT interesting unless you're into fishing, lol. (I'm not personally, but my dad is and used to teach me a lot about fishing, lol)

Actually staying true to the spam uploads, here is this 'wonderful' piece that I made earlier than the Sabo piece. I said this on my other platforms, but this was one I did as an experiment for both a sticker design, as well as coloring the line art. Needless to say, I absolutely hate this abomination of a piece. (But, I think that's just what comes with the gig of being an artist. You experiment, and 99% of them you hate before finding one you actually like, lol)
