I'd Like To Take A Second To Really Appreciate The Attention To Detail Present Within UNDERTALE: YELLOW

I'd like to take a second to really appreciate the attention to detail present within UNDERTALE: YELLOW because holy SHIT it manages to blow me away at nearly every turn.

In UNDERTALE, the alleyway beside MTT resort only exists as the background art for Bratty and Catty's shop. You don't actually get to physically go there in the overworld. In UTY, this area is transcribed into a full overworld room pretty much 1:1, with certain details either differing or missing on account of the earlier period at which the game takes place.

It might be a small thing to think about, and in the grand scheme of things it absolutely is, but things like this are part of why UTY truly shines as one of the best UT/DR fandom creations out there that I've seen. The fact that you can scrutinize aspects of the game this hard and it holds up in a completely believable (and downright aesthetically gorgeous) way lends it an air of polish that deserves applause.

UTY is not devoid of shortcomings, but there is so much passion and care for the source material poured into it in all the right ways that I really can't praise it enough.
