Where should I go next and what to feed my baby Adam ?π₯Ίπππ

My name is Shada Kassab, and I am a 24-year-old mother living in Gaza. Every day is a fight for survival for me, my husband Hussein, and our baby boy Adam, who is just five months old.
My home was destroyed and my husband lost his work as a driver. He had a water truck and used it to spread water to people in need, but it was destroyed alongside my home. I have evacuated many times. The first evacuation was at Deir el balah and I stayed there for more than 4 months. And now I've evacuated again to Anusirat camp and I don't know where could be the next evacuation.
I need your support to help me and to save my son (Adam) from this violence. I need to have a safe life with my small family. Due to the high prices of traveling here from the only border I do this link to help me and my husband evacuate from Gaza Strip forever to seek our future.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this. If you canβt donate, even sharing this post could help us reach someone who can. Every reblog is a reminder that weβre not alone, and your kindnessβbig or smallβmeans everything. β€οΈ
You can share this or donate with anything you can ππππ΅πΈ
My name is Saja. Iβm a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow β from her first smile to her first steps β surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.
But life had other plans.
War has returned to our home. Again. And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.
There was a moment β a fragile, breathless moment β when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark β hiding, holding on, praying.
Iβm writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.
Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.
This is my life.
This is my daughterβs life.
And even now β especially now β I believe in softness. I believe in kindness. Because when everything else is taken from you, hope becomes the most valuable thing you have.
Why Iβm Reaching Out Our home has been damaged. Our lives changed. But through it all, my daughter wakes up every morning with a smile. She reaches for me with trust, with love, with faith that I will keep her safe.
Thatβs why I keep going.
Iβve launched a campaign to ask for help β not because itβs easy, but because silence is no longer an option. I am asking for support not just for me, but for my baby, and for the quiet strength of so many mothers like me who are fighting, every single day, to hold their families together.
How You Can Help: π€ Help us restore parts of our home so we can live with dignity π€ Support women and mothers in Gaza with access to care and resources π€ Keep the light of hope alive for a generation born in the shadows of war
π If you can, please support our journey here:
If you canβt give, please consider sharing. Your voice might be the reason someone else hears ours.
From My Heart to Yours Maybe our lives are worlds apart. Maybe youβve never lived through war. But if youβve ever held a child and wished the world could be better for them β then you understand more than you know.
I donβt want my daughter to grow up thinking the world turned away.
Please, if youβve read this far β thank you. Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for caring. We are still here. Still hoping. Still holding on to every kind act like itβs a lifeline.
Dear video essay creators. A video analysis is when you analyze a piece of media. No no look at me. A summary, no matter how thorough, is not an analysis. An analysis requires you to draw conclusions about the media such as authorial intent, real-world parallels, discussion about themes/worldbuilding/character motivation, and so much more. You have to stop summarizing something and saying thatβs analysis. The Gaylors are doing more critical analysis than you. Is that who you want to lose to? The gaylors?
Unpopular Opinion: Mark's feelings about Sinclair and Darkwing make total sense for him to have. They aren't just pieces in a hypothetical thought experiment for him. Sinclair nearly killed someone who's now a friend to him and kidnapped Mark's BEST FRIEND.
Darkwing is way more redeemable but Mark was left out of the loop on that one, after Cecil TOLD him to bring him in. He was completely blindsided, felt like his trust was betrayed, and blew up. Maybe if Cecil had TRIED to ease Mark into the idea of rehabilitation in the first place, or just explain his points any time earlier, things might have gone better.
It's a completely understandable to want someone that harmed you or someone close to you to never see the light of day again. How many people do you know that would go "oh yeah you mutilated corpses and combined a human with robotics against their i will and kidnapped one of my friends, but they have you doing the same thing with DEAD SOLDIERS now, so I guess you must be a good person."
(Using corpses as weapons is so disgusting and I doubt Cecil asked Sinclair to look for a way to make it all robotic.)
As for the point about Mark being more willing to forgive his dad that people use as a gotcha... like ofc he is. that's his dad. People's parents hit them all the time and they still love them and stay in contact. People's kids will commit horrible crimes but they'll still love them and defend them. It's not necessarily right but it happens often because that's how we are. People make excuses for people they love. We forgive people we love more easily. Mark wants to have hope for his Dad, because that's his Dad.
People really don't account for how young Mark is. He's like 19 (and the general consensus in the fandom is that his aging likely slows after he got his powers) and has experienced so much mayhem and death in an incredibly personal way. He has so much responsibility to be Earth's greatest hero and it's gotta feel like all that work means nothing when things like that happen.
Of course he wants to be against murder, "heroes" don't do that. Of course he's not expecting Cecil to start working with the bad guys. He grew up in a world with Omni-Man and now he has to live up to the hero part of his Dad's legacy and not the villain part. And in that world, they didn't need Cecil's contingencies.
I'm not saying Mark's perfect and should never be criticized, but dear god. People are trying to hold him accountable like he's a real person. The weird takes I see on tiktok are the reason I should've never told that app I watched that show
Viltrumite mark and no goggles mark def
for no reason in particular *cough cough* whoβs yβallβs favorite Mark variants?
Omg I just had a thought. Orpheus! Ekko and Eurydice! Jinx. Maybe even Persephone! Jayce and Hades! Viktor. Or if you're REALLY freaky, Persephone! Mel and Hades! Silco
I've been thinking abt this since season 2,like IMAGINE
I just thought of a good idea, alternate marks x reader fanfic but theyβre inspired by Anakin and padme relationship.. I need that BAD ..
"It wouldn't matter if she were Jaehaerys the Conciliator come again, Rhaenyra is a woman."
-Otto Hightower
Did people just forget he said this? It's not about how deserving she is.
I really need some people in this fandom to understand that Rhaenyra could have been the most perfect woman to ever exist and the Greens still would have usurped the throne anyways. Rhaenyra being a "whore", Rhaenyra having bastards, Rhaenyra being so-called "incompetent" were all excuses. If they really cared about any of that, why would they be trying to replace her with a man who sleeps around, has many bastards, and is definitely more incompetent than Rhaenyra ever was?
Like guys the Greens were pushing Aegon as heir before Rhaenyra even had children, before she was even married. It is stated in the book that Alicent and Rhaenyra got along fine until Aegon was born and Alicent immediately turned against her when Viserys didn't name their son his heir. They were already challenging her claim when she was just 10 years old.
Even if we're going by the show's canon, Otto Hightower was plotting to get a half Hightower/Targaryen on the throne before Rhaenyra was even named as heir.
The reasoning for why the Greens did what they did is really quite simple and realistic - they were greedy as hell. Some of their allies of course truly believed a son should come before a daughter but the main motive for the Hightowers was that they wanted someone of their blood to be placed on the throne.
They wanted their blood to be entwined with the most important family in Westeros. They wanted to create a new branch of Targaryens that were half Hightower. It wouldn't have mattered if Rhaenyra was flawed or if she was perfect, they still would have usurped the throne because she was in the way of their plan that was pretty much decades in the making and they would have used any excuse to justify their actions.
I'm just tired of the posts that say "well if Rhaenyra just took her position more serious and if she didn't do this or that then she would have been fine" like no she wouldn't have. You're completely missing the point if you believe this.
So you're telling me the story that starts with the queen dying in an attempt to give the king a son even though they already had a daughter, the story in which that same daughter is named heir, the story in which the new Queen attempts to slutshame a little girl to have her son on the throne, the story where that same girl now woman is usurped for the crime of daring to want something other than being a walking womb, for wanting something she was promised, the story where that same woman is known as "Maegor with teats" when she didn't even cause half the destruction her half brother caused (proving that history is kinder to cruel men), the story where after her death no more dragons where born until one of her female descendants brought them back to life, THAT story is about how war is bad?
And here I thought that story was about misogyny, oops, silly me
does anyone wanna hold hands until we feel a little braver
Iβm such a big fan of the Bridgerton books but Iβm struggling to find anyone who is a fan of the books rather than the show version and was hoping that you knew anyone as everyone else says itβs racist to prefer the books
Hi! Um I haven't personally read the full books yet, but I've listened to at least parts of them via audio. No, there not racist lmao but no I don't also don't know anyone who read them
erm.....
STILL WEIRD-

I feel like something that gets little left behind when people discuss Caitlyn gassing Zaun is that, while yes, gas doesn't discriminate between innocent and criminal, child and adult, and that some Zaunites are forced into a life of crime to make ends meet so it's not entirely their fault-- Um, are we forgetting who makes the laws? It's important to me that we acknowledge that Piltover decides who is a criminal, decides what is undue retaliation (the Day of Ash, Jinx blowing the gas back into Piltover), and decides the punishment, which is often more severe than the "crime" or the retaliation. I just have a problem with the rhetoric that "some criminals are people!π₯Ί" bc ALL "criminals" are people. The justice system in Arcane is just as flawed as it is in real life, can we think for just a moment that "criminal" doesn't mean "bad person" it just means they're in violation of state laws, which are often unjust and discriminatory. Like the state's definition of what makes someone a criminal is specifically designed to lock away and enslave minorities. (This is why fictional societies that are extremely egalitarian about race often fall flat, because it's not written from a place of respect, its from a place of discomfort.) Okay thank you.

Imagine you're in the CoN and your high lord & lady visit and you have to watch her sit on his lap as he fingers her while knowing you will forever be trapped under a dark mountain with no way to feel the sun on your face or grass under your foot or hear the birds chirping with the knowledge that your steward is an evil man and that your high lord's rich little circle has never made an effort to change things for the better or realize that there are other "dreamers" here and your only hope of any change is a woman whose personality is wearing red and who can't stop thinking about herself but she also absolutely hates your guts for no reason other than the fact that you were born in the Hewn City and who hasn't faced or gotten over her trauma in the 500+ miserable years of her existence.
Arcane fans: Silco and the other Chembarons are horrible!! They use child labour!!
The same arcane fans: Caitlyn's use of the Grey was okay because it only hurt the Chembarons and their people π
@sapphiresaphics
Yβall are very strange creatures to show more empathy toward Caitlyn than the workers in the Lanes she gassed, just because theyβre labeled as βcriminals.β It should be common sense that, given the state of Zaun, this might be the only way they can sustain themselvesβ a situation created by Piltoverβs neglect and oppression. And letβs not forget, even kids were [forced to] work for the Chembarons. Gas is not going to go βminor detected, must swerve!!!β
But somehow, we gotta have this endless empathy for Caitlyn, as if her mom wasnβt also part of the problem. βThe people of the underground deserve to breatheββ wow thatβs like the bare minimum, thanks Cassandra.
All of the councilors (except maybe Mel? not sure) were against an independent Zaun. People were still living in horrible conditions. Sheβs in a position of power and is still complicit with all the other issues Zaunites face. Cassandra Kiramman was NOT a good person and she couldβve done so much more for Zaun than improve the air quality.
Do we even know what areas of Zaun were ventilated? Was it ever stated? /genq
I'm not asking for a lot of money, I just need a little to buy bread and some vegetables for my kids and milk and diapers for my baby Sama. ππ

I don't really think OP is saying that their crimes aren't crimes, just that they're still citizens that Cait gasses. They're point was that selling drugs and engaging in gang violence isn't really too bad of a crime when a lot of these people are just trying to get by.
It's a system put in place by the people on top (Piltover's leaders) who do nothing to really help Zaun or it's people. That ofc leads to Zaun's people trying to put money on the table in more underhanded ways. Not unlike lower funded places America.
These people shouldn't be GASSED with something that can def kill them (look at season 1 Viktor) because they are low tier criminals.
Its kind of the equivalent of literally dropping Asbestos on a city to clear the area. Sure you'd probably accomplish your goal but that's still a war crime and pretty awful overall.
And the grey being released wasn't a punishment for petty theft. It was used as a way to get Jinx, so by your logic it would still be wrong because your rights weren't taken away for crimes you yourself have committed, they were taken away because you happen to live IN Zaun.
^^^βββ
It is WILD that you say βselling drugs and engaging in gang turf war does not make you not a citizenβ as if that changes the fact that theyβre still CRIMES.
I mean, if your logic is that Zaun is technically part of Piltover and thus falls under Piltoverβs jurisdictionβ¦ committing a CRIME under their jurisdiction means you can suffer consequences from your actions. No? It doesnβt MATTER if youβre a citizen or not. Being a citizen doesnβt give you free rein to do whatever you want! You have to obey laws!
If Iβm a citizen of a city in America, and I do a crime, the police of that city are allowed to take away my rights as a citizen. Thatβs what being a citizen in a functional society MEANS!
