Cardverse AU

Hi y'all! I've been working on this AU for almost a month now, so I really hope y'all like it as much as I do!

A basic explanation is that Cardverse is an AU based on the 4 card suits. Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs.

There are usually 3 major roles like the cards, Kings, Queens, and Jacks. There are also Jokers but i haven't drawn them yet

I decided to split the choir all up based on their connections, and I wanted to add Tammy and Ezra too just to make them all an even 12

Details of my eternal brainrot below:

First of all, they're all organized by rank but if you see the colors, they're already assigned to one of the 4 card suits: Blue and Purple shades for Spades, Pink and Red for Hearts, Orange and Yellow for Diamonds, and every shade of green for Clubs.

They all have marks all over their body to identify their ranks, the card suits also have traits:

•Kings are primarily in charge of both the kingdom and are the generals of their own armies

•Queens are in charge of the kingdom's navy, they check and balance for the king's decisions, and can basically rule on their own as a Queendom if the king is not found yet. Usually Queens are from aristocracy/one family line but in some special cases, they're also commoners

•Jacks are in charge of the finances and policies of the kingdom, they also check and balance the king's decisions like the queen, and also work as ambassadors for other kingdoms

•the role of the joker is kinda conflicting but some portray them as evil trickster gods set on causing chaos throughout the kingdoms, some believe they're there to keep order in the kingdoms, the common thing is that they're rarely seen and have been there since like...forever

•The Black joker can see back into the past, they watch over Spades and Clubs

•The Red joker can see into the future, they watch over hearts and diamonds

•Queen - Constance { right cheek}

•Jack - Ricky {back of left hand}

Diamonds: Wealth

•King - Hank {right palm}

•Queen - Astrid {left palm}

•Jack - Trishna {neck}

•Queen - Noel {back of right shoulder}

•Jack - Corey {right calf}

Day 15 - Everybody lives/no one dies

This one is where the choir decided to go on a different ride instead of the cyclone (I imagine that they went to the gravitron instead)

I want to headcanon Noel as being half-filipino (father side) since my pathetic butt is also Filipino and I resonate with him so much (I also love the fact that some people here just draw him as Hispanic and it's just so 🩷🩷🩷)

Also thought that Mischa with freckles and blue eyes would be adorable. just for a change (im keeping the tooth gap, sue me-)

everyone lives/no one dies au (+ karnak maybe but he would appear later) that i've been working on who wants it

i've talked ab this au in an earlier post but yeah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ basically everyone lives but penny doesn't know she's penny so she's just jane doe instead... it's going to be very self-indulgent but it kinda grabbed me by the brain and mixed some stuff up so i MIGHT add this one thing in but i'm not sure if i'll add it here or make a separate fic for it 🧍

the ships would be nischa blackrose and spacedolls BUT it would be a slow build up (i hope)

not going to be nischalia unfortunately but talia and mischa stay friends bc... talia is real to me :(

even if no one interacts with this/wants it i'm going to post it bc it's for funsies :) just wanted to talk about it though

i need to talk about fall fair suite.

2 big things i noticed about it:

they're singing about the fall fair and they get to the part "when the fall fair comes- fall fair comes-" where it glitches out IT GOES TO "when the fall not fair" WHICH IS SO GENIUS I LITERALLY THOUGHT OF IT LIKE TWO MAYBE THREE DAYS AGO AND I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD bc it's a play on the words fall fair which is the fair that takes place in autumn but then they're singing about the drop "when the fall" as in the derailing and falling from the loop "not fair" because it's unfair/unjust that they are going to die before living out their lives and ocean especially keeps this sentiment throughout the show as in not seeing her death as "fair" esp since they weren't able to live out their lives

right when they're doing the part "like our far from the city little itty-bitty pretty hometown just a teeny tiny dot on a wee blue ball and we've all been spinning all been spinning round" IDK IF THIS WAS INTENTIONAL OR NOT but i just have intense imagery of like it (the "camera" for lack of a better word) zooming out to reveal like the solar system bc they're on a "wee blue ball" aka earth that's spinning in orbit as well as spinning in general and right now they're also spinning out of control because the cart derailed and now everything's spinning which is kinda a theme where everything's all scrambled like with mischa earlier "where's the sky and where's the ground" and also "pushing forward pulling back" and "you don't know up from down" (and also the alliteration(?) for city little itty bitty pretty makes me AHKSLDJKLDF)

So, I put the choir kids in a different universe… (this is ABSOLUTELY me being self-indulgent, but goddamn… they’re witches… <3)

omg so i rewatched rtc 2016 off broadway for like the third/fourth time today and i was like noticing a few new things (also i took like cough 157 cough screenshots of the parts i really liked/the choir being dorks BUT THAT'S IRRELEVANT)

some things i noticed:

when ocean was first dragging ocean away for the bsf part of her monologue constance said "ocean she's looking at me-" or smth (someone actually mentioned this in a comment i saw on a yt video and i was like "OMG!!")

AFTER NOEL'S LAMENT JANE DOES THE "fornication under consent of the king" AND NOEL IS LIKE USING HIS FINGER TO GESTURE FOR CONSTANCE TO JOIN THEM AND GET AWAY FROM HER AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS LAKDSFJLK like first of all pls be nice to jane second of all I NEVER NOTICED THAT BEFORE?

AFTER SUGAR CLOUD THE THREE OTHER PRODUCTIONS I'VE SEEN HAVE OCEAN GOING "i'm sorry" AND THEN CONSTANCE AND OCEAN HAVE THEIR MOMENT i thought that was an added thing right but when i was watching it this time around i noticed OCEAN MOUTHS THE WORDS "i'm sorry" BEFORE THEY DO THE FOREHEAD THING DON'T TALK TO ME

Fun fact when you sent this originally I was thinking about that. So here’s them and some explanations :))

Mischa was easy because he had something that could replace his head in hand but nobody else had anything sooo I had to give ‘em stuff teehe

Ricky- an action figure doll head :)) he would obviously have a ton. I imagine when he was younger he drew on it a lot so that’s where the colorful bits came from.

Noel-marionette esque thing? Just feels like a doll he would own honestly. I think he would’ve wanted it look look a little like Monique but still like him because it’s fun yknow.

ocean-instead of a doll her head was replaced by a character from an illustration in one of the books she had. Plus 10 points if you can guess the character teehee

Constance- I was thinking for some reason that instead of completely losing her head it just got super messed up in the rollercoaster so nobody could identify her. And you cannot tell me she would have gotten a cute bear plushie from one of the carnie games. So part of that bear was just attached to her.

literally no one cares but i'm putting these aus up here in case i forget them <3 + low-quality jane/penny bodyswap doodle so:

penny is so desperate to save her now-friends she accidentally changes the course of fate: the one i'm working on rn! she tries to save them from their death but they go on the rollercoaster anyway but she isn't on the ride and calls an ambulance and accidentally on purpose saves them ! they weren't supposed to be brought back but penny was like "NO! I NEED TO SAVE THEM! I CARE AB THEM!" she uses savannah bc penny and jane are two different people to her and she wants to be her own person :) the others deal with injury and hospital stuff but i've never really been in a hospital for smth serious and idk much ab injuries so my knowledge is limited to google and stuff lol !

everyone lives w/ no injuries only their memories: the one i might do next? jane refuses to leave without her new besties bc they are the only people she knows :( they all hold hands while they go to watch jane go and she drags them through the curtain while karnak shorts out so she doesn't get to find out who she is and they have to deal with a jane in a new body and try to find out who she is heheh (I HAD TO FIND THE POST THAT KINDA INSPIRED ME IT'S FROM PENNYDOE ON TUMBLR HERE from them having to teach her to be human? ig? also a little bit like "Now we know what YOLO really means" by NeverEndingCarnival on ao3 but rly i think it's just bc no one gets injured and i'm planning on it being a really long fic) anyways that happens and yeah

ghost au!: inspired by the ghost au of witcherstorm bc that's the very first ghost au i saw that was like "I FREAKING LOVE GHOST AUS HOW COME I DIDN'T THINK OF THIS WHEN I GOT INTO RTC WTF" anyways they're all dead stuck in limbo and a few days later they all like get whooshed into the real world and they're all like "um where are we wtf happened aren't we supposed to be dead" and they like look around after re-orienting themselves and see penny and she's like "HELL YEAH IT WORKED" cause she tried a ghost summoning ritual to bring them back and then shenanigans ensue like them freaking out ppl at the school esp rude ones and protecting penny and meeting ezra who can't see them but knows they're there and penny keeps accidentally talking to them and yeah!

penny "what-did-i-get-myself-into" lamb and the amnesiac choir: so i lied there were 4 aus but i forgot the fourth one so i didn't write it in the og post but i just remembered it so basically penny gets brought back along with everyone else before the accident and everyone thinks she's insane bc she wonders out loud ab the warehouse and they're all like "girl wtf" and she's freaking out like "wait they don't remember it shit shit shit" and she has to try to get them to bond like they did in the warehouse (goddamn she has her work cut out for her) and she's kinda bad at it bc she accidentally sometimes spills stuff from the warehouse but she's actually p good at it bc it's only ever small stuff that they happened to have mentioned before so they all think she just really listens to them but she keeps dropping hints and basically as soon as someone learns the lesson they learned while in the warehouse they regain their memories of that time but they have to be subtle around everyone else bc the rest would just think they're crazy so it's a whole ordeal lol

i want to do smth for all of them but i have to work on one at a time or i'll get overwhelmed but that's basically it for the ideas bouncing around my head

I usually spend a lot of time editing and fine-tuning my comics so that they come across as polite and inoffensive. But honestly, I’m really tired of the way Asian cultures and countries are treated / talked about while Asian people themselves are excluded, and thought it was about time I really let my rage out lol.

NEWEST UPDATE: I need help buying the meds day by day currently, as I am often stuck with empty packages. Please share this and my newer posts that are pinned. We need to prepare for February’s meds because I have no idea how we are going to get through for the next couple of months, I still can't believe and express the amount of gratitude you all have helped in getting her the meds for last month. We are at 23% of the goal for this month (February), it has been life saving to my family as my mom is the glue that holds everything together.

This February, we will need 500$ after coupons have already been applied- I have developed a friendship with the pharmacist and am working directly with them, they let me buy a few pills at a time for her and we have already applied coupons but it still results to this amount monthly. If anyone can help, share this or donate, it all helps with giving me hope that things will be fine in the end. I just can't wait until she won't need these pills come this summer, as she only needs them for one year.

And proof of the notice I received earlier last month in regards to a court hearing and possible eviction I could be facing, despite facing discrimination from my landlord for being a GNC woman and a butch lesbian. (I say this because he refers to me as male despite knowing I am biologically and legally female, along with the fact that I never requested the department to refer to me as male at any point.) The case is currently ongoing.
