Y'know Those Episodes Where One Of The Main Characters Tries To Spit Off From The Rest Of The Group For

I haven't seen Boruto yet but I have heard some spoilers I hope you like this little scenario

Gaara comes inside the house after a long day of paperwork excited to see his son and wife, as he stepped in he noticed how quiet it was.

slightly to his right he sees the TV's on, a playful character on the screen with a silly orange hat with fabric cone's on the sides and Bell's on the ends.

Gaara entertains himself by watching it while taking off his shoes, hand on the wall for support,

walking three more steps into the living room past the wall that blocked his view of the couch, gaara smiles softly to himself at the heartwarming sight,

his wife and son are asleep peacefully on the couch, both on there right side, her back august the cushions, his august her chast and stomach, y/n's right arm in an L shape as a pillow for shinki's head, her left arm over his waist hand folded into his chast,

Gaara lay's a blanket over the two, soft smile still on his face he looks over the paper and crayons sprawled on the coffee table,

y/n had been trying to get shinki into more childish things like cartoon's and coloring for fun,

most of them are just scribbles and swatches the only one done was of what looked like Gaara y/n and shinki sitting together,

Gaara didn't know which one had drew it But that doesn't stop his smile from widening at the cute picture,

he snapped out of his thoughts when he hears a groggy " you're home early "

When you, already in your pj's come to get Levi to go to bed he was sitting at his desk just putting things away because he was expecting you (but you don't have to know that) you stand in front of him and ask him if he's ready for bed and he doesn't respond with words, all he does is put his hand up expectantly for you to help him up and lead him to his room to help him get ready, he had taken a shower a few hours earlier and just pulled on some lounge wear which he takes off while you pick him some pajamas from his closet, he gets undressed and you get him dressed it's become a routine with you two, so now that you're both comfy you climb into the bed it's not just his anymore he climbs in right behind you it takes a few minutes for you both to find a comfortable position but he needs you to caress his head or rub his back to fall asleep so after he's out like a baby you fall into sleep along with him,

A/n this took me like 20 minutes right before I was about to go to sleep, good night 😴

"Y/n wake up!!" your bright and shiny husband tried to wake you up really early this morning so you buried your face in your pillow "come oooon just look!" rolling over you see Mikey holding up your chunky baby boy in his white onesie with duckies on it, "hon I think we've met, what about him" you say setting up,

"nooo! look!" sitting your wide eyed baby boy on the bed in front of you and you still don't get it until you spot the little pink bow clip on the top of his head in his strawberry blonde hair and you start laughing, "what did you do" you said through giggles, "cool huh" Mikey said looking proud of his work,

picking up your chunky boy, smiling as he looks up at you, moving your eyes up to your young husband and taking his wrist in one hand and pulling him into the bed while your baby falls asleep on your shoulder in your other arm,

pulling mikey in and placing your son down gently, you pull mikey down so he's laying down next to the baby before you lay down yourself "you did a great job honey" you said looking at the bow "really?" he asked with puppy eyes "the truth is that your the best father and husband ever" you whisper and you both exchanged smiles "remember when we used to take naps together all the time?" you said caressing his hair "mhm" he said eyes closing drifting off to sleep,

when you two were teenagers he found naps easier than you did but you would let him lay on you and cuddle with him until he woke up even if you weren't tired because he was so cute,

when you were sure mikey was asleep you carefully took the clip from your baby's swoopy blonde hair, already quite long but i guess that's to be expected from mikey's kid,

Gaara walked into his office with a bundle of pastel flowers tied with a blue ribbon, his brother and sister sat on the couch working on their own things but when they saw him and his nervousness they both sent him an encouraging smile and in his brother's case a thumbs up,

This all happened while your back was turned you were standing over the young kazekage's desk separating papers from most to least important just to make the load easier on the poor boy,

There were a couple cases that you weren't sure about so when gaara got close enough you turned to ask "hey gaara I thought that building was already finished, but-"

You smiled seeing the pretty flowers he held out showing to you "those are pretty" you said as an after thought thinking that he had got them from a fan, he did have many who admired him within his village, and certain girls who had given him gifts before,

After the comment you got back to business surveying the paperwork in your hands "so why are they asking for more workers?" After he didn't answer you, you looked back, he looked stunned, stuck in place with the flowers still extended out,

The other two weren't much better, it was like time had stopped for a few seconds and you weren't a part of it, the thought that you didn't care past all three of them disbelievingly for a moment but then even if you didn't care you wouldn't just ignore a gift, right?

"what?" You asked innocently which made gaara collect himself a bit, he swallowed and fidgeted for a second before straightening up and pulling his arms back some "they're for you." He said looking from the bundle to your eyes, a little scared,

As you took in his words a smile slowly grew on your face ending with you squinting your eyes at him playfully suspicious "you got me flowers?" you could hear the smile on your face when you said it and he nodded relieved.

Not a second later you were hugging him pulling him into you with a hand on his undercut, "oh my gosh, Thank you! I didn't know I'm sorry!"

This was the reaction he wanted, you pulled back smiling and almost kissed his cheek before remembering that his brother and sister were across the room watching, so you laid your head on his shoulder instead "thank you, gaara" you said finally taking the gift from your boyfriend "your very welcome" he said running a hand over the back of your head.

5:00 am Oct/26/24

An: Inhale- squeal!!! So I wrote this a few days ago in-between working on my Halloween costume.

Imagine --- You passed by Kankuro and Temari on your way to gaara's office, you smiled at them with a sucker in your mouth and they smiled back before going back to what they were doing, after a minute or two you came back to leave and said you'd see them at dinner,

Temari was and still is looking for a certain file gaara needed, while Kankuro stares intently at you until you leave out the door,

"she didn't have it anymore," temari looked up at her brother then to the door and back "she didn't have what?" She asked, staking the papers she already checked, "The sucker" he said quietly still looking at the door, his sister's eye twitched "So? That doesn't matter Kankuro, we needed that file yesterday!"

"Oh that, I found that a minute ago" he said handing it to his now fuming sister "Kankuro!!!!!"

A minute later they entered their little brother's office with the file as Kankuro rubbed the sore spot on his head,

Gaara was standing looking out the window when they came in "we got it" temari said with a sigh, Gaara turned around and sat at his desk with a smile "great."

Temari and Kankuro's eyes widened at the paper stick poking from their little brother's mouth before they looked at each other,

A/n: I was on a gaara and writing trip awhile ago :P

Just sand sibling shenanigans,

Thinking about that one good bye hug. W-🤍gaara🩶

But it's not good bye and you both know it, it's only a few weeks before you'll be back in suna and you'll see each other again but for some reason it hurts more and more every time, even though your visits keep getting longer, Temari and Kankuro notice how they're friend and little brother become quiet and downturned as the minutes tick closer to when you are set to go back, they decided to split off on the way to the gate, after saying their farewells and see ya laters you and gaara walk in silence the rest of the way to where you both will part for the time being, you were looking at the ground when he stopped and you realized that this was it, you turned to look at him as he made a hand motion for the guards to step away and give him a moment with you, you pulled him into you and he hugged you back gently, you told him that you will see him soon, you started breathing harder and felt tears in your waterline but forced a smile as he pulls away to tell you that you're always welcome with a smile of his own but you can see the sadness in his eyes, he's not holding himself together as much as he'd like to think, you turned to start on your way back home and you did it without crying, you were just a few steps away and trying to think of other things when he took hold of your wrist and spun you back into him quickly to hug you firmly, you couldn't see his face, your arms were in mid air for a moment before your hand clutched the fabric on the middle of his back and that was it, the tears came before you could stop it, you were wetting the material on his shoulder when he spoke quietly, "I'm sorry, I just need a minute"

Gaara having food poisoning

Warnings; Fluff. Gaara not feeling good. this is kinda long. mention of throwing up and flushing a toilet.

Your poor, sweet, baby Gaara, also known as (the kazekage) is laying on you like your a teddy bear.

His body is between your legs, head on your chest and his arm's are around you with his hand's on your upper back, and he's been like this for about 20 minutes, it's probably the longest he hasn't moved all day,

you feel bad you don't get to lay like this that often, and about him feeling bad, all you can do is help him feel more comfortable while you cuddle close together,

earlier today

You didn't have anything to do today so you figured you'd sleep in and go to Gaara's office to say "hi" later, because most likely he'd be gone for work by the time you got up, and you talked about it with him a little and what he'd be doing today before going to sleep,

you wake up to Gaara tapping you gently on the shoulder, you can see from the light in the room as you peek your eyes open that it's really early, most likely 7am, you were pretty irritated but that all goes away the second you look up at gaara's frustrated face,

he's standing at your side of the bed half way dressed looking very uncomfortable, you sit up as quick you can "what happened? are you ok?" you say groggily

Gaara sits on the bed and starts telling you about how he woke up like normal (smiling at your sleeping face against the mattress) and as he was getting dressed his stomach started feeling weird, so he sat down & waited a little longer before going to work to see if it would go away. five minutes later, he was throwing up,

after saying that he looks down and a weird look comes over his adorable face,

Gaara stands up quickly and goes to the bathroom and shuts the door behind himself,

You were pretty sure you know what he has since you went through something very similar and it ended up being food poisoning, so you know it's only gonna get worse,

you get up and go to the bathroom door and when the (noice) stop's, you knock softly,

"honey? did you call in to work already?"

a few seconds go by and you hear the toilet flush,

"no. do I have to?" he says as he opens the door,

you put your hands on his cheeks and his skin feels warm, "yes, you do sweetheart I think you have food poisoning, I had it once and if it's like mine was it's gonna get worse."

He looks down and furrows his "eyebrows" and deeply sigh's,

You lift up his face to make him look at you and smile "hey, go get in some comfy clothes and lay down, I'll call in for you & get you some soup, okay" you say in a soft voice,

he nodded and smiles softly "thank you, love" then he walks past you to the closet.

the first thing you did is put a bucket next to the bed just in case he doesn't feel like he can make it to the bathroom,

then you called in for him which was more of a struggle than it needed to be.

A few hours go by fast and chaotic,

IT DID, it did get worse, he's been sweating and throwing up, he got a headache and a fever,

And here we are, 6 hours after the start of this bad day, and he's been tossing and turning in bed all day,

you've stayed off the bed all day for some reason, he complained about how it was so difficult to sleep, "will you lay down with me please?" he said with tired eyes,

so now your laying on your back, up against some pillows,

a half eaten bowl of soup and a electrolyte drink on his side table, he had some but couldn't keep it down,

Gaara's head is on your chest which seems to be one of his favorite places to lay, his arms around your rib cage, hands on your upper back hugging you tightly but not enough to hurt,

you've been reading a book while he's been what you think is sleeping on you, sometimes you read a few words out loud and he'll shift a little,

"I'm sorry I ruined your day off" he mumbles

you look down at him, eyes still closed cheek still against your chest,

"Sweetheart you didn't ruin anything" you say looking at him with furrowed eyebrows,

he opens his eyes and looks up at you shocked at what you said, "did I say that out loud?" he asks,

you drop the book off to your side, and kiss him on his forehead then his cheek while hugging him close with your legs and arms,

"there's no way I'd rather have spent today Gaara, I love you so much and I'll always be right here to take care of you when your not feeling good, okay?"

He puts his arms around your neck and hug's you back as he barries his face into your neck trying to hide his pink face, that some might be from being sick, "I love you too, and I'm feeling a little better" he says, muffled by your shirt,

"I hope you haven't been feeling bad about that all day."

"I kinda felt bad about waking you up that early"

"it's okay honey, you could've woken me up when your stomach first started feeling weird and it would've been okay"

"Okay, thank you y/n, I think I'm gonna try to get some more sleep ok?"

he lays back on your chest, soft smile on his face you what to squeeze him and squeal about how adorable he is but your not sure if it will make him toss his cookies again so you hold back,

"Okay gaara" you say kissing him on the head and running your fingers through his beautiful red hair.

Slader told you one time on a mission Simon was mumbling your name and drooling into his pillow, :)

He tried to surprise you with flowers this one time but everything went wrong for him that day and he showed up at your door with messy hair, stained dress clothes and tripping over his untied shoes with half crushed flowers, and when I tell you he almost cried in frustration but you saved the day and comforted and cuddled him, :'(

He doesn't have a preference for being the big or little spoon he's just happy to be cuddling with you, he's one of those guys who can't cuddle without him falling asleep at some point, even in public,

Just imagine he leans into you after having a few too many drinks at a party in the boar hat and you start rubbing his back and head then not even two minutes go by before he's snoring quietly into your neck,

Captain and ban intimidate him, so he's more quiet and serious around them unless he's been drinking, and speaking of drinking he doesn't do it often only at a more casual celebration and between you and me he's a lightweight,

He's close friends with king and Diane, they love you and he does too, tbh it's kinda hard to spend time around the fairy and giant without becoming fond of them <3 tho he has picked on them with ban a few times but he really likes them,

Gowther creeps him out. Yeah that's all,

He knows having all your allies turn their back on you during the war had to be hard so he listens and apologizes for any part he took in it, even if he was too young to be a real part of it,

He loves dates, he has the time of his life on a walk with you holding hands as the sun goes down, or having a good meal across from his future wifey (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)

He loves sharing stories of missions or adventures with you and hearing your own,

He'd do almost anything you ask of him in fact he'd give you the shirt off his back if he needed to,

He's quite the fearsome fighter, I mean he didn't become a member of the roars of dawn for nothing he's strong and skilled with his katana,

He's just a sleepy baby on his down time, you couldn't count the number of times he's led you off to snuggle up and nap, or fallen asleep on your lap with your fingers in his hair,

Speaking of, Scalp massages!! he loves to give and get them also helping each other with hair care is common,

He always has his guard up on the job with his armor on but even on his days off he can jump into fight or flight mode at the drop of a hat, and guess what? if he's flight'in you're coming with him, you're thrown over his shoulder so fast before he gets out of dodge to go regroup with the others, >:(

Even if you are a woman who is used to taking care of yourself and being stronger than every human around you it's nice to be taken care of by this sweet human boy :)

And don't get it wrong, if someone were to hurt your sweet baby boy once you get ahold of them they'll be unrecognizable,

Misunderstanding Mikey.

Some kissing, misunderstanding obvi, panic, angst, fluff, Mikey x reader

You and some of your family were in the living room watching a scary movie at around 1 or 2 am, when someone knocked on the door,

You immediately looked at your parents as they looked at you, knowing you would have told them if one of your friends or boyfriend would be coming over. and you knew nobody was coming over, so, standing up a little freaked out you go to look through the peephole on the door,

You can't really make out the features of the person, just a shadow and slight silhouette, but then they turn a little and take a step back, the street light now showing your boyfriend is on your porch,

You turn back to your parents "it's mikey, can i see what he wants?" they said yes but to stay on the parch because it's late, you open the door and close it behind you leaving it unlocked,

Mikey looks up at you with tired and apologetic eyes without saying anything, intently gazing at your face in silence, and you notice he's got bandages on his left forearm which isn't surprising,

but what did shock you a little was that he is in his pajamas, oversized gray shirt, (a little damp from the soft rain that just started) sweat pants and no shoes just socks, you look back up at him like he's crazy,

But he still hasn't said anything, which in it's self is really weird for him so this must be serious, and he's just silently scanning your face,

You take a step closer to him and grab his hand in yours, his skin is warm and cozy, to your surprise, and his palm is rough, his fingers are gentle as they lace with yours in return, the sprinkling turning into pouring rain in a matter of a few minutes,

You whisper out "are you ok?" your almost not heard over the rain, but your concerned voice seems to have snapped out of his daze,

he looks off to the side for a moment, taking his eyes off your face for the first time since you've come outside. your hand still in his, then looks back up lips sealed in a line and eyes darting around like he's trying to find something to say,

he then takes a step towards you closing the gap between you, leaning in giving you a quick kiss on the corner of your mouth,

pulling away his eyes looked into yours and almost whispered "I'm sorry, I just wanted to see you, and let you know that i love you, goodnight baby" he says in a soft voice and hesitantly turned around letting go of your hand and going down your stairs, and to anyone else and whatever neighbors who saw this would think it was sweet,

but to you, your world just shattered. your eyes are watering your breathing gets heavy and your chest hurts. with the life he lives, in your mind he just said "good bye" to you and you're never going to see your sweet, silly boyfriend and best friend again, because wherever he's about to go, if he feels like he's going to die, then most likely he's right.

you forget about what your parents said as breathing gets a lot harder and tear's start rolling down your cheeks, you make quick work of the stairs as you see mikey's almost to his bike that's in the street,

you don't care about the heavy rain as you run to him, almost slipping, he must have heard you because he stopped a foot away from his bike and turned around just in time for you to hug him squeezing him close to you,

your borderline hyperventilating as you embrace him. almost having to yell over the pouring rain so he can hear you, "please don't go! I couldn't take it if i lost you!" you look up at him crying, not letting go of him,

and he looks down at you with worried eyes were you are bent over slightly hugging your head to his chest,

he reaches up to put his hand on your head to soothe you but you squeeze your eyes shut because you know that there's nothing you can do if he's already made up his mind and will probably say something like (it's gonna be ok, don't worry)

you look back up to him and before your mind can fully wonder what's gonna happen to him when he leaves, he smiles at you and giggles "what are you talking about babe? where would I go?"

you let go of him and just look at him "why did you come here Mikey?" he looks down slight smile on his face "I fell asleep early, and i had a nightmare, so I wanted to come kiss you and make sure you were ok, so I did"

He looks up at you and smirks "so what's this about how you can't live without me?"

you roll your eyes and turn around and start walking back to your house, the cold and your annoying boyfriend starting to get to you "I didn't say that."

he laughed and grabbed you from behind hugging you close to him "oh really? what was all that about?" he says leaning his head on your shoulder closing his eyes,

you sigh "I thought you were saying goodbye to me." his eyes open and he sighs too "no. but I'm sorry I scared you, hon,"

you turn around in his arms and run one of your hands though his wet strawberry blonde hair and hold him close with your other arm, you give him a deep kiss as the rain starts to let up,

when you pull back you smile at his dumbfounded and blushing face and lean in to give him a soft peck on his lips and his forehead and whisper,

"goodnight and i love you too sweetheart" you go to pull away and yet again your stopped, by his hand on your side he pulls you close, he just holds you for a minute, his head resting against yours, looking into your eyes "y'know I never want to say goodbye to you"

"I know, and I love you but i gotta go back inside and get to bed, you need to go to bed too, you can tell me about your dream tomorrow if you want to ok,"

"Ok" he says backing away from you holding your hand until he gets on his motorcycle, then he waits until your back on your porch before he starts his bike and as he disappears down the street he looks back and smiles at you,

your parents were mad, not only because you were out there for so long but your soaking wet, and as you change your clothes you think about how that boy is going to be the death of you.
