Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.

What if Vos had visions and night terrors about his fate before the trio ever went to the Sea Temple? (About the Admin, warped versions of himself, and a strange, dark place he can’t escape.) Perhaps he tried ignoring them, but eventually told Jack who brushed it off because the Admin “isn’t real.”

The occurrences become more frequent as the Admin’s messages become cryptic and concerning. Most of his sightings of the Admin appear in his dreams, however, occasionally Romeo will visit in the daytime to mess with Vos as neither Jack nor Sammy can see him. Vos assumes he’s hallucinating from a lack of sleep and doesn’t realize that’s the actual Admin. One of Romeo’s favorite ways to unsettle Vos is through cryptic warnings: “Be seeing you. Very soon.” “One day you’ll know my face as well as I know yours.” “No one remembers I exist. But you’ll show them all.” Sometimes Vos even catches glimpses of what looks like an older version of himself with the Admin’s eyes. (Those are the visions that terrify him the most.)

His paranoia inadvertently causes a self-fulfilling prophecy when he misinterprets the obsidian prison as a mishap in the Nether. He begins avoiding Nether and cavern adventures at all costs, but jumps at the chance to explore an undersea temple… oops.

Yo sorry I've dead for like ever! I've been doing college things and it's been beating up. Additionally, I graduated college today! 🎉yippee🎉 I got my Bachelor's in English, so it's literally a degree to write💀 I think it's very funny. Expect more content eventually (hopefully on the sooner side)

Hey guys, apologies for the lack of art these past few weeks. I’ve been having lingering headaches, but I think it’s subsiding. That being said, I would like to practice drawing apparel so please send me character requests along with an autumn outfit you think they’d wear and I’ll do my best to get to as many as time allows at the end of the month! (Outfits can be either images or a general description.)

Fred kills Xara and imprisons Romeo.

Fred wanted to make a perfect nation, one without troubles and sadness, only happiness and innocence. People should be obeying, clueless and feel joy.

Instead of Sunshine Institute it's a Moonlight Plains. Everyone is free to move around as much as they want as long as it's inside of plains.

No one is allowed to carry weapons, no fights, no sad faces. Smiling, smiling, smiling.

Everything he says — is true and they should obey.

Remember how Lukas called Soren's woolworld a "Happy land"? Well, it is a happy land.

Instead of trying to make Jesse his champion, Fred will try to make another "happy land", maybe even more perfect than the first one. He'll try to reason, saying how letting people decide everything for themselves is too dangerous for them, so they need a Leader, someone who'll tell them what to do and how to live.

And who will be a better leader, than The Hero himself?

But as soon as Jesse refuses, Fred laughs, saying it wasn't a question. He'll send Jesse under the bedrock, to Moonlight Plains in a special zone, where they "fix" those, who is lost. Meanwhile Fred will turn into Jesse, slowly turning people from Beacontown into brainless zombies who can't even decide what food they should have.

Beacontown becoms a closed place and the gang is worried, trying to reach out for "Jesse". As soon as Petra becomes too annoying, Fred sends her to the Plains as well.

There she meets Jesse and.. Vos, who is alive. They were planning the escape together. Vos, Sammy, Jack and Nurm were sent to the Plains a long time ago, but Jack and Sammy are both on a lower floors since they were "too aggresive, meanwhile Nurm was sent to work as a villager should.

Adventurer says their group got here even before the Admins Fight, so he knows for sure Romeo is their only chance to take Fred down. It's useless to try and ask for help people in Moonlight Plaids, since thye're too brainwashed, but there are small groups in whatever was left from Xara's and Romeo's towns, who Fred still didn't captured.

Plan is simple: get on lower floors, find Jack and Sammy, get out of this place, find Romeo with the help of other groups. Easy and smooth, considering no one is uses weapons here.

But unlike Romeo's physical challenges, this place is a psychological horror.

Will they escape without loosing their sanity? And just how longer Beacontown and others will be able to hold back from turning into brainless happy zombies?

As expected the theme for this zine will be Winter ! The season might not have started yet but by the time this zine should be ready, it will have been around for a bit now ! I hope this very vast theme will bring joy and ideas to everyone.

Either it be hot cocoa near the fireplace, snow on the horizon or even christmas itself, everything goes as long at is takes place during the season !

Ounce the two weeks are over I will go over every application to get as much people into this zine ! E-mails will be send and all that boring stuff <3

Keep in mind that things will have to be discussed in between participant when this phase will be over, we wouldn't want everyone to choose the same character and setting ): (as lovely as that still would be)

I will do my best for this to go smoothly, everyone is welcome to be patient and polite with me, don't be mean !

WE’RE GONNA CRASH!!!!!

My family is still staying in half of the church that wasn’t affected by the bombing because there is nowhere else to stay other than tents. They are limited to one small meal a day and one shower a week. They are sleeping on the floors, but no one can sleep since there is bombing everywhere around them. Even when there is no bombing, they can still hear the loud buzzing sound of the military planes above them, which would keep anyone who hears it awake. Along with everything, My grandma has diabetes and osteoporosis, so she can’t walk. She has to take her insulin medication along with many others; however, she has run out of many of her medications.” Am on my knees requesting for donation. Target $450

hey man! was skimming through your aus and i was wondering what biome based challenges vos and the others would face in the templeswap au and how that would lead to vos getting imprisoned ... sounded very inter esting

Yesyes so the TempleSwap AU started as “what if the Sea Temple was a desert or jungle temple instead?” and I ran with those biomes to theme each temple and its rooms! In the Desert Temple iteration, Jack, Vos, and Sammy explore a massive sandcastle in the Twisting Sands of Spyr’hal Mesa; in the Jungle Temple version, the trio explore a labyrinth-style construct (think of a jungle temple the size of a woodland mansion) in the middle of a crazy jungle I have yet to name. As for the challenges:

🏜️Desert Temple: The traps are similar to pyramids with most of the dangers being husks and quicksand pits. (Pretty easy to avoid if you’re taking your time and keeping an eye out.) However, the main trouble comes when the trio find a giant room with a terracotta X on the floor. As Jack starts digging, the sand floor around the X falls through, revealing a bottomless pit beneath it. Sammy was unfortunately standing on the sand and falls to her death. Attempting to flee, Jack and Vos are separated when Vos stumbles into quicksand and slowly dragged into a secret chamber beneath the floor. Jack is slightly worse for wear, getting caught in a husk horde on his way to the entrance; his eye and arm get scratched up bad.

The sandstone walls in Vos’ cell are too steep to climb and mining fatigue won’t let him dig his way out. Luckily, he does have a lantern and lots of water bottles and the sand floor is pretty warm and cozy. The downsides are the occasional husk that falls through the quicksand pit onto him and the rare heatwaves that make the temple miserably hot.

🌲Jungle Temple: The winding maze of hallways is very Indiana Jones inspired with the boobytraps being trapdoors, arrow dispensers, pressure plates that move walls, etc. There are also hidden buttons that reveal secrets if you’re paying attention. The trio make it to a chamber with a golden totem of undying surrounded by pressure plates, buttons, and levers. Jack suspects the idol to be a fake (it is) and the trio opt to test the levers and pressure plates one by one to see if any reveal a hidden doorway. Most shoot arrows or open rooms that lead nowhere, but one drops a wall that hides a zombie horde behind it. The three try and regroup at a previous hallway, but Sammy trips over a vine while trying to escape the horde and is killed by zombies. While running through the maze, Vos steps on a pressure that seals him behind a wall. Jack gets an arrow to the face on the way out so that’s why his eye is messed up.

Vos assumed the pressure plate he stepped on would fire an arrow at him so he ducked and rolled… right into the hidden room that opened up. Oops. Before he knew what actually happened, the wall behind him slammed shut and locked him inside. He has rations and torches and the vines on the walls make for great bed fodder. Again, mining fatigue won’t let him break his way out and the constant zombie growls keep him awake often.

I decided to make the holding cells in Minecraft for fun. :] I wanted the chambers to be different from the Sea Temple where he’s stranded on the ceiling so the Desert Temple has him stuck beneath the floor and the Jungle Temple traps him in the walls.

Funnily enough, Vos survives in both these versions! Depending on the temple, he either lives off of rotten flesh from the husks that accidentally fall through the quicksand pit or eats moss and vines off the walls Deltarune style. Can you imagine the surprise when Jesse and co. hear a voice speak to them from beneath the floor/ behind a wall? Petra throws a rope down through the quicksand and pulls up a very sand-coated man in the Desert Temple. Or Jesse manages to find the right pressure plate to open up the wall to free a frazzled fella who looks like he totally hasn’t eaten moss ever… he promises.

It is shameful that after months of pain and despair, Gazans now have to deal with being humiliated on tumblr. The way it is so easy to otherize a whole population because they cannot navigate tumblr like every other average blogger ; please remember that they have been forced onto this unfamiliar online space because they have to fundraise through a genocide! They are being bombed! They have no desire to go blog to blog and reduce themselves by begging to people, who might try to be a racist cracker to them.

There is no doubt that there are good people here. And it is with their help that Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) has reached his short term goal of $20000 CAD. I am requesting you to not to turn away now! Siraj still has a long way to go! He was so happy yesterday, thinking that soon he would be able to start rebuilding his home. Athletes Go for the Gold with NASA Spinoffs

NASA technology tends to find its way into the sporting world more often than you’d expect. Fitness is important to the space program because astronauts must undergo the extreme g-forces of getting into space and endure the long-term effects of weightlessness on the human body. The agency’s engineering expertise also means that items like shoes and swimsuits can be improved with NASA know-how.

As the 2024 Olympics are in full swing in Paris, here are some of the many NASA-derived technologies that have helped competitive athletes train for the games and made sure they’re properly equipped to win.

The LZR Racer reduces skin friction drag by covering more skin than traditional swimsuits. Multiple pieces of the water-resistant and extremely lightweight LZR Pulse fabric connect at ultrasonically welded seams and incorporate extremely low-profile zippers to keep viscous drag to a minimum.

Swimsuits That Don’t Drag

When the swimsuit manufacturer Speedo wanted its LZR Racer suit to have as little drag as possible, the company turned to the experts at Langley Research Center to test its materials and design. The end result was that the new suit reduced drag by 24 percent compared to the prior generation of Speedo racing suit and broke 13 world records in 2008. While the original LZR Racer is no longer used in competition due to the advantage it gave wearers, its legacy lives on in derivatives still produced to this day.

Trilion Quality Systems worked with NASA’s Glenn Research Center to adapt existing stereo photogrammetry software to work with high-speed cameras. Now the company sells the package widely, and it is used to analyze stress and strain in everything from knee implants to running shoes and more.

High-Speed Cameras for High-Speed Shoes

After space shuttle Columbia, investigators needed to see how materials reacted during recreation tests with high-speed cameras, which involved working with industry to create a system that could analyze footage filmed at 30,000 frames per second. Engineers at Adidas used this system to analyze the behavior of Olympic marathoners' feet as they hit the ground and adjusted the design of the company’s high-performance footwear based on these observations.

Martial artist Barry French holds an Impax Body Shield while former European middle-weight kickboxing champion Daryl Tyler delivers an explosive jump side kick; the force of the impact is registered precisely and shown on the display panel of the electronic box French is wearing on his belt.

One-Thousandth-of-an-Inch Punch

In the 1980s, Olympic martial artists needed a way to measure the impact of their strikes to improve training for competition. Impulse Technology reached out to Glenn Research Center to create the Impax sensor, an ultra-thin film sensor which creates a small amount of voltage when struck. The more force applied, the more voltage it generates, enabling a computerized display to show how powerful a punch or kick was.

Weight Training Without the Weight

Astronauts spending long periods of time in space needed a way to maintain muscle mass without the effect of gravity, but lifting free weights doesn’t work when you’re practically weightless. An exercise machine that uses elastic resistance to provide the same benefits as weightlifting went to the space station in the year 2000. That resistance technology was commercialized into the Bowflex Revolution home exercise equipment shortly afterwards.
