Huevember #1: #e6ff00

I’ve made colour wheels to use huevember to practice James Gurney’s Gamut mask exercise. Feel free to use them. The first is the colours chosen in the original post on huevember, while the second is the more mathematically accurate colour wheel, where each of the hues in the first wheel can be found by the position of a small white spot.

Karkat Vantas - Red Lantern Corps (Anger), The Ψiionic/Helmsman - Sinestro Corps (Fear), Nepeta Leijon - Green Lantern Corps (Willpower), Darkleer/The Expatriate - Blue Lantern Corps (Hope), Gamzee Makara - Indigo Tribe (Compassion), Feferi Peixes - Star Sapphires (Love)

Technically, Eridan would make a more correct blue lantern as he's the "Prince of Hope", and a more correct Star Sapphire as his blood is violet (as opposed to Feferi's, which is Fuchsia, and the other name for the Star Sapphires is the Violet Lantern Corps). But you can see why I didn't make him either...

Gamzee would really suck at using his ring. His expression is torn between disgust at the clear bLaSpHeMy, and confusion as to how he's meant to feel compassion.

Karkat and Nepeta would be amazing, as would Fefs if her colour wasn't just that little bit incorrect, *sigh*

And to those who noticed that Agent Orange is missing, I know, but a) there is no orange (yet??) on the Hemospectrum, and b) the closest thing is Tavros' Cinnamon colour, and quite frankly I think Tavros would be even more terrible at summoning greed than Gamzee at summoning compassion.

The only productive sketches I’ve done today. The first is for coursework, of wonder woman obv, and the second a crocodilian merperson (of ambiguous gender bc I don’t want a representation of any kind of gender if I am to get a tattoo) via the suggestion of dear cam

Basic plan of the s7sa coffee shop! Still not finished, mind you.

The awkward wall between the middle and left third is because the left third was the original coffee shop; the old man who ran it in the 60s had been saving up two buy the other two to expand the shop and bought them only a month before he died; wanting to continue with the plan, his nephew began to work on knocking down the walls, only to find that the majority of the original wall had to be kept for structural reasons. More of a businessman than a shop owner, he decided to use this to his advantage; the two new sections became a jazz cafe adjoined to the old shop.

Patience knew the coffee shop before it became a jazz cafe, but started a little while it was taken over by the nephew. She started off as a waitress but spends most of her time behind the counter nowadays.
