I need Dorian's reaction to the solavellan ending. I can't stop thinking about it.

Before the final battle he asks Lavellan if she'll be leaving again after this and if I recall correctly she says, "Something like that."

She knows. If there is a way to end this with Solas safe and hers, she will go with him. Lavellan likely put all of her affairs in order before departing Skyhold for the last time. Probably walked those now too empty halls and thought about seeing him again.

And Dorian probably knew, too. He knows her. He's her best friend. Possibly her only friend.

After, once Rook explains what happened, I imagine he holds the sending crystal in his hand and quietly says his friend's name, hoping against all reason and known rules of the Fade that he'll hear a response.

I am obsessed with the fact that the Veilguard all gathers round to watch Solas's saddest memories and then dissects them like it's an episode of Desperate Housewives. 10/10 no notes, exactly what he deserves.
