Winx Headcanon

Tecna charged the Winx and Specialists’ phones/devices. It has gotten to the point that they all have a specific voice when asking Tecna and she just holds out her hand without looking away from whatever she was doing.

Helia, Bloom and Musa bond and talk over art and music. They will often go to each other when they are having difficulties or to just bounce ideas off of each other. There are many projects they have that have the others credited to it as well.

Stella and Bloom are naturally really warm due to their sum and fire powers. Tecna is naturally really cold due to technology working best in the cold and she doesn’t handle warm weather that well. Layla is naturally cool due to her water/morphix powers. Flora’s body temperature depends on the temperature of the nature surrounding her, so if it’s warm she is and if it’s cold she is as well. Musa is the only one with a normal body temperature and due to this she often makes fun of the others for their power based body temperatures.

I don’t care what canon says, Enchantix is the final fairy form. It’s rare for fairies to reach Enchantix, with mostly only reaching Charmix.

The Specialists taught the Winx how to physically fight, as it would help if their Winx is drained or just to get the upper hand. 

Musa and Layla will often go to underground music shows together. Musa will go for the music and the moshpit, and Layla goes for the dancing and moshpit. They both love the energy and slamming into other people.

Magic affects the world around it in small ways, and as the magical being gets more powerful the effects will become more pronounced. Flore can make flowers bloom or heal dying plants in her Magic Winx, but in her Enchantix flowers grow/die and nature now reaches for her. Tecna in Magic Winx makes technology run smoother and can cause power problems with high emotions, but in her Enchantix technology/power runs fully powered around her and she is basically a power outlet, and sometimes when she is surrounded by technology/machinery sparks will fly off of them or her. Bloom in Magic Winx makes fires around her burn brighter/hotter and the air around her is always slightly warmer than the room temperature, but in her Enchantix form sometimes when she focuses too hard on something the air around her becomes hard for other people to breathe and she constantly smells like fire and so do her clothes and possessions. Musa in her Magic Winx form has the sounds around her become sharper/clearer and around her instruments are sounding and easier to tune, but in her Enchantix form sometimes if she is focused on something else the music in her head can be heard by those physically close to her, and being around her makes people’s hearing better. Layla in her Magic Winx has more condensation build up around her and the air around her tends to be cooler and slightly moist feeling, but in her Enchantix form water tends to reach for her, so spills will flow toward her, and the air around her is more moist with water sometimes randomly being created around her, sometimes when she and Bloom are in close proximity to each other the air sizzles. Stella in Magic Winx will always softly glow and the air around her smells like ozone, but in her Enchantix form random sparks fly around her and when it is days the sparks look like solar flares, but at night it’s like stars and light tends to bend towards her slightly at all times.

Tecna can turn lights off and on with a thought. She often forgets about light switches and doesn’t remember where they are. This means she occasionally does it on purpose, mainly if she thinks the others are being too loud or are staying up too late. The first few times she did this it scared the others but now they are used to it. 

Bloom and Stella are the only two who can cuddle each other for a long time as they are the only ones able to handle the heat they give off. 

During the colder months Flora can sometimes get seasonal depressiony, and when this happens she will unconsciously seek Stella out as her sun powers help Flora feel better.

Musa will unconsciously make her footsteps silent when walking around. This has startled everyone. 

Codatorta and his kids

Codatorta & Riven:

Is particularly hard on Riven to get him to achieve “his potential”.

Does look after the younger man, though: makes sure he always has a place to go to once the school goes on break, invites him for dinner with Codatorta’s family on holidays, etc.

Riven is the only one who doesn’t know that he is Codatorta’s real favourite.

Codatorta & Nabu:

Doesn’t even try to hide how much better he thinks Nabu is compared to his students.

”You all should be more like Nabu” this, “I want Nabu to enrol in Red Fountain, please please please” that

Nabu calls Codatorta “daddy 🥺” jokingly and although the older man yells at him for it, he is the only one who doesn’t get beaten up for name-calling.

Codatorta & Helia:

A very respectful, caring relationship.

Although Codatorta at least tries to appear professional with the rest of the gang, he gives up all pretences with Helia.

C’mon, he has known the younger man since the latter was a kid in diapers. Seen him go through hardships, make mistakes and flourish in spite of them. How could he pretend to be anything but wholly on Helia’s side?

Protective of Helia like a little brother. In turn, Helia cares for Codatorta and looks up to him.

Codatorta & Timmy:

the bemused mentor & the over-achieving, comedically ill-timed mentee.

For a long time, Codatorta dismisses Timmy for one of the rich kids who are in it for the rank and the mantle, and treats him coolly.

Timmy desperately tries to prove himself — but because he is so edge around Codatorta, only makes the impression worse. Amy Santiago style.

Only when Timmy stops caring about Codatorta’s opinion and really comes into his own as a specialist — being his quietly bad-ass, confident self — only then does Codatorta start to respect him.

They don’t speak of the shift in their dynamic, but Codatorta begins to entrust Timmy with more challenging tasks and relies on his insight more.

Codatorta & Brandon:

The tired grump dad & the middle child.

Codatorta does actually like Brandon and thinks he makes for a very honourable specialist

But he hates hates hates Brandon’s clown-assery.

Most of their interactions are Brandon trying to be/being funny and Codatorta punishing him for it (and for the man’s ongoing headaches) with exercises.

Once in a blue moon, they do have sincere moments, where both learn a bit from each other.

Codatorta & Sky:

Some (Riven) might mistake Sky for Codatorta’s favourite, because the older man dedicates a lot of his personal time to teaching & advising the prince.

But this is mostly because Sky is one of the only princes, and heirs to a significant empires at that, under Codatorta’s care - and he wants his charge to become a decent man before he inherits the throne.

So Codatorta tries to make Sky wise, selfless, smart, a leader

But Sky is also stubborn as fuck and is responsible for half of Codatorta’s grey heirs alone — so heck no, he is not the favourite .

so to summarise:

all the interactions between Codatorta and the specialists are, of course, Platonic.

Riven: …Didn’t we meet Bloom in June? It’s February.

Sky: Not my anniversary with Bloom. My anniversary with Brandon!

Sky: Twelve beautiful years ago today, I first met Brandon…and I just…I just knew he was the one.

Brandon: *tears up* I love you too, man…

Winx Hottake: Timmy is best Specialist (not Brandon or Nabu)

Someone requested this hottake and since it’s post Valentine’s day I felt it was kinda fitting. Happy late Valentine’s day Timmy because you’re officially best boy.

There’s no argument Timmy is the most unproblematic king in Winx and deserves more attention because of how much of a good boy he is. Not only did he click with Tecna from the first time they met, he also wanted to talk about science and tech which they were both interested in. And after she’s mad at him for being a coward he makes a comeback by devising a plan against the Trix during the camping/Charmix earning episodes of season 2 (ngl Charmix was rushed af).

We all know Sky is scummy as hell and Riven’s against the world. So, what about Brandon, Nabu or even Helia who for some claim the best boy spot?

Brandon is very chill don’t get me wrong but he did give Mitzi his phone number, even if it was a joke. And not only did she think he was in love with her but she also used that number to stalk the Winx hanging out with Andy’s band and send a video to him which prompted more drama between the Specialists and Winx in season 4. Plus he could have told her “No sorry I have a girlfriend and you’re not going to change that” to Mitzi but I guess the plot demanded a singing competition. There was a lot which was Mitzi’s fault but he’s not innocent in all this.

Let’s not forget how Nabu STALKED Aisha and when he was caught decided to be chill about it. @calissarowan theorized he wasn’t bothered because he grew up sheltered and didn’t know any social cues or what to not do in a situation like this, and it’s a solid theory that explains a lot, but stalking is stalking, and Winx has a weird romanticization of it until season 4. Also season 4 Nabu somehow has his shit together after falling for Aisha and their relationship became so so boring as they’re the perfect couple.

Helia from the start of season 2 only existed to give Flora a love interest and nothing else because outside of loving her and being a romantic “pacifist” he doesn’t have much going on.

So that’s why Timmy is the best out of all the Specialists. If you prefer the others that’s fine, I’m just sharing my essay of an opinion, but I need more people who believe in Timmy surpermancy.
