there's something about eda going from despising school to running a school that hits deep. something about rebuilding instead of destroying. something about turning anger into positive change. something about recognizing that you have the power to be better than those who hurt you. you get what i'm saying
The Wicked curse:

Camila and Darius are co parenting Hunter and he is living his best life with his family thank you for coming to my tedtalk
I love how inherently selfish both Glinda AND Elphaba are as protagonists. But where one gets praised and admired for it, the other gets demonised and hated.
People always attack Glinda’s decision not to runaway with Elphaba, but no one acknowledges how overtly selfish it is to ask that of someone.
although what Elphaba is asking of her is noble on paper, in practice it’s an incredibly selfish position to put Glinda in. By asking Glinda to stand with her in solidarity she is also asking Glinda to be ostracised and hated all throughout Oz when she knows full well how much being liked means’s to Glinda.
This traps Glinda is a lose-lose situation. If she agrees she loses everything, her family, friends, and future. If she refuses she is being complicit in injustice.
but on the other hand It’s a more selfish decision to refuse Elphaba request. To perpetuate corrupt beliefs you don’t believe; in order to be accepted and validated by people in power.
Although one of the options seems more ethically right, it is at the same time individually devastating. The conscious choice to willing ruin your life for things you believe in is a choice that only the strongest people can make. And we shouldn’t shame people when they choose themselves over ideals, because self preservation isn’t a thing to be ashamed of.
They’re BOTH in the wrong, for entirely different reasons. It was an impossible situation with no right answer. And thats why the scene works, neither is right or wrong. I’m sick of people acting like Glinda made the “ wrong choice ” as if they would go ruin their lives for their ideals.

Whats this hermitcitizen thing?? Im so confused but i think youre the one who might know??
Hi if you've been missing my citizen ramblings the past few days I'll make a summary for you:
Hermitcitizen is about imagining your persona (a representation of yourself) living inside the hermitcraft server as a citizen, that can mean different things; like having a job in one of the shops, being a helper in one of the bases, being just a guy wandering inside the server, etc
For example you can be a cast member at Scarland
An engineer at The Perimeter
A researcher at The Rift
Just some dude scaring people in the sewers
You can also choose to live in one of the buildings of the bases, like a house in Gem's castle, a room at Pearl's alien city, one of the towers in Tango's citadel, or just wandering around in the forests
The shenanigans that come with it depend on your imagination
You know, as horrible as that Velma show is, seeing everyone online band together and unanimously denounce it is very heartwarming to witness. The internet is a pretty divisive and argumentative place, so watching people across every platform unify against Velma is a refreshing experience to say the least.
As a lifelong Scooby Doo fan, knowing that everyone is in agreement that the Velma show is mean-spirited, unnatural, and wrong definitely feels good.
it's sappy c! aimsey hours
c!aimsey is one of those characters that just happened to pop in my life at the right time. C!aimsey experienced a horrific loss as I was experiencing a horrific loss and represented the grieving processing a way that made sense to me when nothing else did. they carried hope and anchorless wanderings and the desire to FIX things and know everything to avoid bad things happening again in a way so many depictions of loss don't. the pit in your stomach that urged you HOME with out having one to go back toom
but most of c!aimsey represented the stubborn need to be KIND. hurt can make you jagged lines and sharp edges and my grief made me want the opposite. to be softer, listen closer because the world of cruel and unfair and kindness is an act of revolution of protest against the chaos.
it's empathy and stubborness and this very specific feeling of traversing the world when the worse possible thing that's happened to you has already happened.
what's falling off a bridge after all, you survived the tower. that's punishment enough.
Are you really enjoying what you're writing if you're not acting out an entire sad conversation that you have yet to write, bringing yourself to tears through it?
