TMA time travel AU but -

Jon comes back as a child and gets adopted by elias (keeping enemies closer) 

they try to stop each other’s plan but end up distracted and forming some weird kind of family (jon gets to grow up with more people around him,, and elias / jonah’s biggest fear becomes losing jon to enemies ASLKDLSJF)

i know it’s a bit delusional but i have read three 100k+ word fanfics on this idea and they are all super angsty and unfinished im fucking dyinggggg i just had to let this out because i am Not Okay More art of this AU here

I love how inherently selfish both Glinda AND Elphaba are as protagonists. But where one gets praised and admired for it, the other gets demonised and hated.

People always attack Glinda’s decision not to runaway with Elphaba, but no one acknowledges how overtly selfish it is to ask that of someone.

although what Elphaba is asking of her is noble on paper, in practice it’s an incredibly selfish position to put Glinda in. By asking Glinda to stand with her in solidarity she is also asking Glinda to be ostracised and hated all throughout Oz when she knows full well how much being liked means’s to Glinda.

This traps Glinda is a lose-lose situation. If she agrees she loses everything, her family, friends, and future. If she refuses she is being complicit in injustice.

but on the other hand It’s a more selfish decision to refuse Elphaba request. To perpetuate corrupt beliefs you don’t believe; in order to be accepted and validated by people in power.

Although one of the options seems more ethically right, it is at the same time individually devastating. The conscious choice to willing ruin your life for things you believe in is a choice that only the strongest people can make. And we shouldn’t shame people when they choose themselves over ideals, because self preservation isn’t a thing to be ashamed of.

They’re BOTH in the wrong, for entirely different reasons. It was an impossible situation with no right answer. And thats why the scene works, neither is right or wrong. I’m sick of people acting like Glinda made the “ wrong choice ” as if they would go ruin their lives for their ideals.

Mumbo - vampire

Very original i know but i love it, he's like a recently turned vampire who's still trying to come terms with recent changes and stuff- and therefor isnt really aware of a lot of things

Pearl and Grian - godly twins

I adore sky siblings and the sun/moon theme, so theyre 2 gods who live among mortals to keep things in check, there are also some other gods (in form of the EVO crew) theyre aware of each other

Impulse - cursed dwarf

Impulse was just some guy untill he god mixed up with some crazy lunatic scientist (cough zedaph) got mixed up with some other wordly magic and cursed to live and wander forever- while it wasnt like mumbo he's still fairly new to being immortal

Goodtimeswithscar - fae

Scar is such a wildcard, while he is aware that mortals dont live forever so he should probably be more careful about what he says or does- he just doesnt care, fae are immortal and he makes full on use of this by moving town to town scamming people until getting banned and moving on (till everyone is dead and he does it all over again)

Because theyre all like so caught up in their own things and basicly also forgetting whats normal for humans to do, they excuse a lot of random shit the others do (like mumbo drinking blood and scar asking for some)

one thing about Joel Smallishbeans is that he's always giggling. I think most people overlook this in the fandom because most of the time his delivery is just so deadpan and sarcastic, but its when he's doing a bit with another person you can always hear him loudly giggling in between sentences trying not to break character. He is ESPECIALLY prone to doing this with Etho. Its so damn cute it makes me insane and I think more people deserve to notice this!!

Your Michael is as cute and cuddly as a teddy bear full of glass shards and I absolutely love it. Can’t wait to see more!
