I was flipping though an old sketchbook and found some art from like, 5 ish? 6 ish years ago?
It was from a comics class i took at a nearby university during middle school. By itself it's not that interesting because it just kind of sucks. It's kind of impressive how much it sucks, because at the time it took me a full half an hour to make this.
This is a five minute sketch of the same character. It's not perfect, sure, of course it's not, I didn't use reference or think about it a whole lot, but it's still just so substantially better than the first one that it's insane. I look at these two things next to each other and I'm flabbergasted at seeing how much I've improved. I'm really proud of how far I've co.e in the past few years.
Why does this just look like some obscure meme I literally can't anymore.
