Tarot Tips
Bonding: Carry with you, spend time with each card, meditate with them, do an interview spread, understand your deck's strengths and weaknesses.
Cleansing: Use crystals, sun/moon light, sage/smudging, meditation, salt, and reset shuffles to cleanse and charge your deck.
Respect: Store cards in a cloth, box, or bag in a safe place. Respect and listen to your cards, learn their language, feel their soul.
Your birth card represents who you are and what you entered this life to learn. It can be determined by adding together all the digits of your birth date (the same as calculating your life path number in numerology).
Example: June 17, 1994(06/17/1994)- 0+6+1+7+1+9+9+4=37, 3+7=10 making the birth card the Wheel of Fortune.

For a situation that is not going your way: Find the Wheel of Fortune in your deck, the two cards on either side of it may present a solution to your problem.
To bring money: Pull the 1st, 5th, 10th, 20th, and 50th cards in your deck. They will tell you how to increase your wealth.
To find the root of a romantic conflict: Find the Lovers, the cards on either side are issues affecting the relationship.
To heal from sadness: Find the Moon and the Sun, the cards in between are the steps you must take.
To look to the near future: Find your birth/soul card, the first card underneath it is what's coming soon.
To know what you must do to care for yourself: Look for the Empress and consider the card behind her.
To find the cause of stagnation: Look for the Hanged Man, the card under him is what's holding you back, the card in front of him shows how to overcome it.
To help stop a conflict: Find the 5 of Wands, the card behind it will reveal the solution.
Hey y'all, this is Jasper! I am a nonbinary (they/them), aromantic, and asexual tarot reader. This side blog is explicitly only for tarot/oracle readings. As such, let's go over the rules.
If you want a free reading, you will follow the following rules in exchange for a free one-card draw. I would appreciate receiving feedback afterwards in exchange for the effort I put into these readings. Send reading requests through the ask box only.
Here are all of the things I need for a reading:
your preferred name, nickname, or initials
your pronouns
your question
background information around your question
Here are what I need if your reading includes someone else:
their preferred name, nickname, or initials
their pronouns
background information on your relationship with this person
If no pronouns are provided, I will default to they/them pronouns.
If you want me to use a specific deck, send the deck name as listed on the page (this is because I often have decks with similar names). Otherwise, I will choose the deck myself. If you want me to use a particular deck or to avoid particular decks, let me know in the reading request. There is a chance I will pick a deck that I have given to a deity I worship, and they may provide commentary if or as they see fit.
I will NOT answer the following types of questions:
“What does X think of me?” or “How does X feel about me?” (my decks will always tell you to just talk to them yourself)
yes/no questions (the divination systems I use are not good for that)
time-related or time-sensitive questions (your readings get answered when they get answered)
medical or legal questions as I am not a medical or legal person (don't fucking sue me)
future spouse readings (like it or not, there's a chance you could marry multiple people in the future, and you might not like any of them!)
readings about celebrities (I don't know who those people are)
entity identification readings (again, I don't know who those people are)
anything I’m not comfortable answering
any readings that require me to somehow read minds
I am aromantic and asexual. If you want in-depth relationship readings, I am not the best tarot reader for that. I can give it a shot, but the answer to such a query is almost guaranteed to just come down to "talk to them or dump them since you can't talk to them" based on past times I've read for that sort of question.
I will not do readings for you if you misgender me.
I’ve got another quick and easy tarot trick for y’all! The featured card for this one is The Hermit because I always associate it with taking time to care for yourself. 1. Find The Hermit in your deck. 2. The card below is what’s stressing or draining you. 3. The card above is something you can do for yourself.
hope it helps make somebody’s day a bit better!
i was seeing all these little blue flowers everywhere and kept thinking "dang what are these bitches, i can't remember..." well guess what. they were fuckin forget-me-nots. can't believe i failed step fucking 1, the hot girls on iNaturalist are going to laugh at me and i'm gonna flunk out of hobby botany school.
i think it’s very important to be at least be a little playful with your own religion. feeling comfortable and safe enough in your own faith to have fun with it is genuinely so, so important to me. it takes some of the pressure off of always ‘getting it right’. and besides! i like to think that the gods really do appreciate the trust we place in them when we allow ourselves to be truly ourselves, with all our vulnerabilities and flaws, in their presence.
don’t get me wrong; reverent, formal, ceremonial, worship is beautiful!! but so is being able to drop all formalities and just talk to your deities… telling them everything that’s on your mind when you need to, or maybe when you’re just too overwhelmed to worship more traditionally. it’s about being able to pray formal hymns and prayers at their alter (if that’s something that feels right for you), but also feeling comfortable enough to simply reach out and talk to them as if they were an old friend or family member that loves you dearly.
cultivating balance is so important for maintaining a healthy relationship with your religion! so just make sure you don’t forget to actually enjoy your practices. at the end of the day, worship should feel fulfilling, whatever that means for you. ♡
Cartomancy
A tarot styled divination method using standard playing cards. This oracle first appeared in Europe in the 14th century and is still used sporadically today. Practitioners of this divination are commonly called cartomancers. Cards can be laid in a variety of spreads and functions much like a tarot deck. As such, cartomancy decks should be designated and regarded with all the respect of a deck of tarot cards. The meanings of the cards are as follows:
• Ace: Love, beginning, happiness, friendship
• King: Fair-haired man, affectionate and generous, but impetuous
• Queen: Fair-haired woman, trustworthy
• Jack: Fair-haired young person, good friend
• 10: Good fortune, joy
• 9: Desires fulfilled
• 8: Invitations/partings
• 7: Someone unreliable
• 6: Unexpected good fortune, generosity
• 5: Jealousy, indecision
• 4: Changes, travel
• 3: Need for caution
• 2: Friendship, success
• Ace: Harmony, property, achievement, love
• King: Dark-haired man, honest, open
• Queen: Dark-haired woman, strong, helpful

• 10: Fortune, abundance
• 9: New romance
• 8: Opposition, danger of recklessness
• 7: Prosperity, potential romantic interference
• 6: Business success
• 5: Help from a friend/partner
• 4: Bad change of fortune
• 3: Good partnership
• 2: Disappointment and opposition
• Ace: Money, a ring
• King: Fair-haired man, stubborn
• Queen: Fair-haired woman, flirty, witty
• Jack: A relative, unreliable
• 10: Journey, wealth
• 9: Financial opportunity, surprises
• 8: Declarations of love
• 7: A gift
• 6: Reconciliation
• 5: Successful meeting
• 4: Change for the better, an inheritance
• 3: Domestic/legal battles
• 2: Important love affair
• Ace: Conflict, infidelity, stress
• King: Dark-haired man, successful, ambitious
• Queen: Dark-haired woman, seductive
• Jack: Dark-haired youth, well meaning
• 10: Grief, despair, imprisonment
• 9: Bad luck, delays, quarrels
• 8: Disappointment
• 7: Possible loss of friendship
• 6: Improvements
• 5: Anxiety, setbacks, interference
• 4: Jealousy, business troubles
• 3: Bitter parting
• 2: Scandal, gossip, deceit
Note: You may choose to include the joker to represent folly, new beginnings, the Universe and to also signify the person receiving the reading.
Bonus: Using Playing Cards to Detect Baneful Magick
This technique relies on reading either red or black cards and nothing else. It can technically be used to answer any yes/no question.
Shuffle the deck and ask, "have I been hexed or cursed?" -while you are shuffling. When ready, stop shuffling and deal out five cards in a row, face down. Then one by one, left to right, turn them over. Black indicates a 'no' response, while red indicates 'yes'. You can see the degree of the curse by the presence of red cards. All black is a clear 'no' and all red is a clear 'yes'. The spread can be read as follows:
5 Black - 0 Red: No curse or negative energy present
4 Black - 1 Red: Blip of dark energy, natural defenses can ward it off
3 Black - 2 Red: Dark energy present, possible jinx
2 Black - 3 Red: Sufficient dark energy, possible hex, cleanse immediately
1 Black - 4 Red: Significant harmful magick present, likely hex or curse. Do a purification/protection ritual
0 Black - 5 Red: Curse confirmed, take serious action to uncross/cleanse/protect. Someone has intentionally tried to harm you with magick.
In a world full of instant gratification.. may we never lose sight of the natural cycles of life.. how the moon takes its time to be full or how the crops take their time to harvest..
May we slow down & just be present..
I made another spread, a more traditional fortune telling one. Hope you all enjoy it! ☘

There seemed to be enough interest in the DnD Dice Divination system that I decided to go ahead and write it up. I couldn’t fit it all on here though so I might be making more posts in the future about it. I’ve included the most important stuff here to get started.
I’ve included a zine to download and print off if you want to take it with you. I actually recommend the zine, it’s a better format than what tumblr would let me put together.
Please consider tipping me and definitely credit me where you can.
I know there are other systems out there and I don’t have a monopoly on dice divination but this guide did take a lot of time to put together and is built on my own collection of frameworks, meanings.
Dice sets can be picked up for cheaper than most basic tarot decks making the barrier to entry lower. My goal was to create a system that could get a similar level of complexity of information to tarot and oracle cards. I found in test readings, I could get roughly the same as I would get from a four card reading. So it’s a good start!
It’s my mission to make divination more accessible, tipping me helps me devote more time to this.
